Doesn't matter if you are short-staffed or full-staffed. You should reply to your customers so they aren't left scrambling. Won't be using them, reaching out to them or recommending them in the future.

The second night they did send an email with a little information on the sitter they found but I canceled more then 24 hours in advance because I just did not trust this service. I got in touch withe corporate office and they were no help. They said O'Rouke would reimburse me if I got a licensed inspector to look at the rug. I did. It cost me $210. Turns out it's not permanently damaged. He advised me to go to a professional rug shop and have the rug cleaned again to get all the detergent out of it. Service Master didn't clean it properly. He told me not to have them do it again as they are not trained to clean oriental rugs. Turns out O'rouke won't pay for the inspection or to have the rug properly cleaned and the corporate office says they have no control over franchisees. I wouldn't trust as company that licenses their name but won't stand behind their service. Give service master an F and don't use them. I have all the documentation. Happy to to share.
