Kids Klub has its ups and downs like any other workplace. Pros include meeting great kids,…read morecollaborative efforts amongst the more professional, kind co-workers and each season brings new things. This place cares deeply about their families that they serve, that's for sure. HOWEVER. Cons include relatively high turnover, lack of respect, favoritism (even though they pretend it doesn't exist), micro-management and a general "shoo"-ing when issues arise. There are NO competitive wages and long term employees stay toward base pay regardless of how long they've worked there. New people come in the door with less credentials and are rewarded more. No sick time, only paid time off that expires if you don't use it all up by the end of a calendar year. People will talk about you behind your back and you'll find yourself pulled into main office for a minor mistake feeling like you kicked someone's dog. If you speak up, you're ostracized. If you lay low, they'll find something wrong eventually. VERY poor work-life balance. They will make up things for you to go to and you cannot say no. This place. I used to love it and have such high aspirations and dreams about the future and about my career here. It can be a good place to work, but you'll sadly find yourself waiting to leave once you get run into the concrete too. The families won't respect you no matter how old you are. There's always going to be something or someone against you. Good luck and as we (must) say, I wish you well.

West Parish Family School - Younger students have experiences brought to them. Our local fire department allowed the children to explore their fire truck.

We have five children, from teens to toddlers and all have attended West Parish Family School. The…read moreconsistency of long-term staff, the clean, bright and open environment, the outdoor play areas, and the commitment to quality care make it the top choice in the area. My teens and toddlers have had the same teachers and they are just as engaged and invested now as they were then! The staff is nurturing, accommodating, and safety-focused. The communication and photos parents receive throughout the day help you feel connected to what your children are experiencing each day. The extracurriculars like science and music, the established curriculum, and the visiting community members, from fire fighters to scientists keep learning fun and relatable. It's a good group of families, a diverse student population and reminds you of a traditional family school. We currently have three children enrolled and made a significant financial investment to do so, but I can tell you I never worry about my children's safety, if they are actively engaged in learning, and if their needs are going to met. There's no screen time or babysitting happening at West Parish. There are rich opportunities for learning, building social emotional skills and developing relationships at West Parish everyday! It's also convenient and right off the highway. If I had to share something negative, so you know this review is real, it would be that it would be nice if there was a covered walkway to the door from the parking lot because getting three kids and three backpacks out in the rain is no fun, though there's always someone willing to lend a helping hand.

My son has been going to this school since he was 15 months. Initially our experience started well…read moreand then our son went through 5 teacher changes and there was a lack of continuity between each teacher. It felt like we started from the beginning each time, his strengths, interests, and protective factors were not integrated into his care. He then transitioned into the tree classroom where they had extreme lack of transparency with us. Once he was in the tree classroom for a few months they notified us of disruptive behavior, and we called for a meeting. A plan was made to improve his attention and increasing independence during activities. At parent teacher conferences weeks later it was brought to our attention that our son was not a "good fit" and suggested looking elsewhere though he was diligently working with a specialized teacher who reported progress in all these areas. We felt blind sided and overall disappointed. My son no longer attends and has not shown any of the behaviors from being in the tree room. I hope this is helpful. - Bret

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Enriched Learning Academy! I recently switched my…read moredaughter's school and enrolled her at Enriched and the difference I've seen in her even in such a short time, is nothing short of incredible. She transferred in with significant speech delays and was very withdrawn socially and emotionally and not potty trained. In just this short time, her confidence is already blooming--she's potty trained, she's talking way more and SO much clearer, she's smiling more and showing excitement about school every single day. The growth I've seen in just her first week is more than I could have imagined, and I can only imagine how much she will continue to thrive here. The center itself just gives such a happy and comforting vibe. From the moment we first toured Enriched Learning Academy, my Mom heart immediately knew my little girl was going to shine there. The staff at Enriched Learning Academy are caring, attentive, and truly invested in each child's individual needs. They've created such a warm and supportive environment where my daughter feels safe, encouraged, and celebrated. It is truly a night-and-day difference for her, and as a parent, that peace of mind means everything. If you're looking for a place where your child will not only learn but also be nurtured and valued as a whole person, I cannot recommend Enriched Learning Academy highly enough. We are so grateful to have found this school--it has already been life-changing for our family!

This is a newer daycare in town so I was willing to be patient but after 10 months I feel I have to…read moreshare my experience so other parents can have a fair warning of their business practices. My son was enrolled in December of 2024, our first issues started in January, when we noticed diaper rashes so bad that he would cry when he went to the bathroom. I brought this to the owners attention, and we discussed a best path forward. Shortly after, issues kept arising around their lack of respect for my infants sleep and food schedule that they did not care to follow. In addition to sending home soiled clothes that did not belong to my son, they sent home chunky milk bottles and moldy sippy cups - when I once again brought these concerns to the owner she was dismissive, as not to ruin her weekend. Fair warning, the owner is not a mother, she was a principal that thinks that is the same thing. If your child is lucky enough to be in the group of her favorites, I'm sure you'll receive excellent care, otherwise the care will be mediocre at best. The turnover for teachers and children is too fast to be reliable, and she'll always rely on the excuse that new teachers are still adjusting which lead to compromising the care for my child.
