As we prepare to say goodbye, it already feels incredibly emotional. What makes this school so special is the people. Every teacher and staff member genuinely knows and cares for each child and family. The thoughtfulness and consistency, year after year and across both of our kids, has been remarkable. Our children were given a joyful, confidence-building start, with the perfect balance of play and early academics. As we head to Greenhill School, we feel incredibly grateful for how well they've been prepared. We also found our community here. Some of our closest friendships started at this school, which says everything about the environment they've created. We are so grateful for these five years. CCDS immediately ensured the transition was seamless. We enrolled them in the summer day camp before the fall start, and they quickly fell in love with the staff and their peers. The teachers are excellent and are attentive, nurturing, and truly invested in each child. Both of my girls have grown tremendously, not only academically but also in confidence. The lesson plans are thoughtfully designed to build strong foundational skills and prepare students to become highly capable readers by the time they graduate. My only gripe is that the school doesn't go beyond kindergarten :( I'm genuinely sad it stops there! From the cleanliness of the bright classrooms to the enrichment classes offered and the nutritious meals provided, everything feels thoughtfully curated for my girls. They are excited to go to school each day and even more excited at pickup to tell me all about it. It was a lengthy process in choosing her first school and we are very pleased to have chosen Primrose. The school and the staff have been playing a significant role in the development and growth of our daughter. Over time since she joined, Isha loved going to school. Apart from the outstanding curriculum, numerous other activities like Christmas celebrations, Easter Egg Hunt, the annual graduation ceremony, etc., have piqued Isha's interest and made her appreciate the time she is spending in school. It is to be noted that the staff put in a lot of time, effort and energy into the execution of the aforementioned events that they end up being really grand, rich and thoroughly memorable experiences for students and parents alike. The school has also ensured that they strictly meet the dietary requirements of each child. The staff also do a commendable job in communicating with us about the child's daily activities, upcoming events, payment reminders and accommodating many other requests we've made. It has been a breeze communicating with Ms. Corrine, especially, and she has always been prompt, quick and always helpful in her response. Our special mention goes to Ms. Alissa. Ever since Ms. Alissa became the class teacher for Pre-K-2, Isha wasn't just happy but was excited to go to school. We, as parents, could clearly see that Ms. Alissa genuinely cared about the kids in the class, made them all feel inclusive, provided individual care to each one of them and actually wanted them to be happy & comfortable. The very manner she greets the kids in the morning not only brightens their days but ours as well. As we drop off our daughter and drive away in the morning, we feel relieved and at peace knowing that Ms. Alissa is there to take care of our daughter. We also want to thank Ms. Margie (who in Isha's words is a very sweet teacher), Ms. Shilpi, Mr. Alan (whose high-fives instantly cheer up Isha in the morning), Ms. Suzanne and Ms. Heather.

It is such a happy, safe, loving environment where you can see how much the teachers and staff care about the kiddos. We have loved all of his teachers so much, but more importantly so does our kiddo! Each room has a unique style and personality which seems to have matched with our children's personalities quite well. The school as a whole has been very supportive in every situation that has risen be it with potty training, pandemic response, separation anxiety, social concerns etc...The teachers we have love what they do and it shows. I'd say the same for the office manager and head of school. They are quick to respond and very helpful. The only thing we miss from our previous preschool is the private photo groups so we had a little more insight into the day. On the other hand at our previous school I saw teachers scrolling their phones multiple times with a class full of kids so I appreciate why that's not a priority here. Last year I felt a bit intimidated with the communication style but I think it has improved immensely since then. Academic wise we see a love of learning growing in our kids as well as increased confidence, independence, and pride in their accomplishments. I think it's safe to say everyone wants those things for their kids and I feel like their growth is really fostered here. It's great to see my kids to really hone in and focus on what interests them. All in all we are really excited to continue here, the kids love it and so do we.

Things went from good to worse depending on the behavior of the girl that would bully her and bully other students. The last time I talked about this to the school principal, she said that we needed to have "grace" for the girl that was a bully. After three years of this going on, that was the expectation. So my daughter could be bullied but the expectation for her was to have "grace" give the bully the "opportunity to learn from it". This knowing that other parents had complained about the same kid for several times. Now, she's at a school that holds the students accountable and has an actual policy against bullying and does not tolerate it.
