My boys were enrolled in the Mandarin Immersion program, which I cannot praise enough. Beyond the wonderful education, this school gave us an incredible community of parents and friends that we will truly miss. Thank you for loving and supporting my boys over the years. However, my husband and I's experience has deteriorated rapidly as we've been held to different standards than other parents (we bring our child to class with all appropriate diapers and wipes jackets for cold weather etc but other parents rely inappropriately on us prepared parents and don't bring their child prepared to school so they can "borrow" from us for months; NOT our guide's fault). Alana is our reason for our daughter thriving so well and our sole reason for keeping her in Guidepost. Aside from that, we are looking forward to withdrawing and will be heartbroken to leave Alana.

The administration is unprofessional, unresponsive, and does not practice what they preach. Administration has driven away many families and staff members. They consistently avoids parents, rarely returns phone calls or emails, and has created an environment where parents are shut out completely. You are not allowed to communicate with teachers directly, not even by email, unless you go through administration. Parents are not allowed into the building, and there are no classroom events or volunteer opportunities. It is clear they do not want parent involvement at all. At one point, it took more than two weeks and multiple attempts before anyone from administration responded to a simple email. Even teachers admitted that communication from leadership is severely lacking. What is most frustrating is the double standard. Students are held to impossibly high expectations and harshly punished for simple mistakes, yet staff and administration are not held accountable for their own failures. The hypocrisy is staggering. As paying customers, parents should be treated with respect and provided with timely, professional communication. Instead, families are ignored and dismissed. Over 20 families left this year alone, which should speak volumes. The owner chooses to look the other way rather than acknowledge these ongoing problems. It is truly unfortunate, because there are a few very sweet and caring teachers at this school, but they too are being driven away. This school is failing its students, families, and staff. Do not waste your time or money here. Now that we have left and experienced other private schools, I felt compelled to share just how unsettling our experience was in hopes of saving other parents from the same frustration.

Great communication between them and the parents and students. The nurse is an Angel. I have had complete trust in her with both of my kids as they both have severe asthma.

Our son has been going there since December 2019 and he's so happy…read more They have an app where they send you sooooo many pictures of your child all day long and other important info like what/when they ate and when they're napping. The teachers are all so caring and kind. The facility had just been completely renovated when we started. It's gorgeous!! And they have really great playgrounds. Since it's the summer they do "Splash Pad Fridays" and my son gets so crazy excited. I love seeing the pics from it! The have really convenient hours too. Oh and their safety measures in place for COVID make it even better! Valet pick up and drop off.. I never get out of my car which is awesome especially when I'm late for work! Ha! Love this place!! So happy we chose them.

It was hard having to place my son in a daycare especially with how young he was. Since the moment I contacted Windhaven Academy they have been nothing but the absolute best. From drop off to pick up I feel extremely comfortable that my son is there and being cared for. Not to mention, within a week of him being there I noticed a difference in his education. (Shoutout to Ms. India and Ms. Mai!) My smart boy comes home everyday with a smile on his face. They have any amazing team and are always going above and beyond. The classrooms are very spacious and everything is bright and shiny and new. First day of school is Wednesday, August 11, 2021. Prosper is growing like crazy! It was wonderful how they honored the namesake of the school. There was a slide show before the formal ceremony that showed pictures of her during her lifetime. Some of her descendants were in attendance and assisted in cutting the ribbon. A display case pays tribute to her as well. The Principal, Assistant Principal, Superintendent and School Board President were all well spoken and everyone was very proud of their new school. Go Bryant Elementary Trailblazers!!

It was a huge change for all of us but especially for him. I don't care about Commended This and Blue Ribbon That, I care about my son living a fulfilling life. Brentfield is the only school where someone knew more about autism than I do. Principal Steve Lemons is a diplomat. He supports his teachers tremendously but he also acknowledges their flaws. He knows the name of every child, he greets them, he is no stranger to the cafeteria. He was born to be an elementary school principal. Absolutely.

They are great educators, and they go above and beyond with individual needs of the kids. We moved specifically to this area for the school and has exceeded our expectations. Our family feels extremely connected to the Brentfield community.
