I have three 2 lamp Art Specialty Flexo fluorescent drafting table lights. They were all made…read morebetween 1943 and 1953. They are great fixtures but they each use 2 small magnetic ballasts. The lamps worked but buzzed annoyingly and could not find anyone who knew what ballasts would fit and work correctly. I searched the internet for hours with no luck and began to think no one knew of, much less stocked, ballasts that could replace the original 65 to 75 year old magnetic ballasts. I decided to try City Lights in Phoenix. To my amazement, the City Light guys knew what would work and even told me the ballast case of the ballasts they stocked could be removed so the the ballasts would fit my fixture. They were reasonably priced and I ordered a set. They arrived in 2 days and looked well made and worked perfect. I'm set for another 65 to 75 years thanks to City lights. Don Larson

UPDATED Review: The…read moreteam reached out to me previously and offered to fix the issues. In our conversation, Rubi assured me that they will fix whatever is wrong with the project. I was hesitant because she said that one day would be enough to do it. When Gilbert arrived, he was by himself (unlike previously when he had an assistant) and said he would take care of the issues. I asked him if he can sand and stain the areas instead of painting in one day and he said it would take more than a day to do that. Given other circumstances, I really needed to reclaim the room that was being worked on and more than a couple of days of renos is something I couldn't do anymore. So I reached a compromise of him smoothing out some of the surfaces and painting instead of staining. Not what I wanted 100% but it is growing on me. I want to highlight that Rubi and Gilbert are genuinely nice people that would be willing to work with you regarding your project. Generally speaking, closing the loop in communication probably would have prevented mishaps. I can't give the 5 stars just because it is not what I had envisioned, but had the circumstances had been different and I had the ability to give their team more time to do exactly what I wanted, I truly believe they would have delivered a 5-star service. Recently I purchased some in stock items and needed to return them and was hit with a 30% restock fee. I don't mind paying a little extra to support local business but to pay more and then get punished with a restocking fee is completely unacceptable. Sadly they have lost yet another customer to online shopping. On a positive note Lonny at the sales counter was very professional and courteous.
