The house I am flipping has a newer central A.C., but the capacitor blew…read more After calling a couple local A.C. repair men, they wanted hundreds and hundreds of dollars to drive a couple miles to my house and repair this part. So I went on Youtube and saw how simple the repair is, one single bolt is all that holds the A.C. capacitor inside the unit. I contacted Grainger and wrote down the item # off the old part and they had what I needed in stock! The new part was $23, I bolted the part in myself and saved hundreds of dollars and from start to finish, it took 9 minutes to fix. The A.C. is blowing out ice cold and like new. I have never worked on any A.C. units ever, so if I can fix it, anyone can fix one. I will never use an A.C. person ever again. I am used to wires working in a hospital, as long as you have patience and wires don't freak you out, a child can rebuild any A.C. system. For years I have been hiring professionals and have probably thrown away thousands of dollars. Every single component inside every central A.C. system is held in with a bolt and a color coded wire, its literally that simple!

(they only work with people who have a contractor) They suggested one made of fiberglass (expensive but cheaper than replacing doors every year). They helped me with the order and it will be 4-5 weeks till it arrives. I will know better of the quality & how the service is once the door arrives.
