He had to match the old structure because we have a second structure (just without the mailbox) on the other side of the yard. Everything looks great. The stucco finish matches as well. Also, out of the few companies I contacted, he had the best communication. Some didn't get back to me for days. Ken responded very quickly. I definitely recommend Ken's Masonry.

This is my second review of Catalina Handyman Service, but his performance was so absolutely…read morestellar this week that I feel compelled to write another one. We engaged Ariel to install a new drop-in sink, and to our dismay it also had clips for an under mount installation that prevented the sink from fitting properly. Any other handyman would have simply said "Sorry, this doesn't fit", and we'd have been living without a sink for at least a few days if not longer. Ariel sanded down the protrusions and it now fits perfectly. He has a unique ability to not only diagnose problems but to quickly identify a viable solution. We will never use another handyman for our many household projects.

I called, Brady answered the phone, and I spoke with him at length for 13 minutes. He stated he may have to cancel that evening's tile job (at someone else's house) due to inclement weather, and would call me back in 10 minutes to confirm if he was coming that evening or the following day to check out what I needed done. He also stated for me to text him my address. After an hour of not hearing from him, I tried calling him back. There was no answer and voice mail was not set up. After ANOTHER hour and 15 minutes elapsed, he texted me stating he would be to my home the following morning around 10 am. I waited all day and he was a No-Show. It is now FIVE DAYS LATER as I write this, and he still never called or texted me to apologize. I wasted a whole morning waiting on HIM, and he never had the decency to call or text that he was unable to come. SAD!

The doors were not closing properly, and my attempt at adjusting the hinges helped a bit, but they needed more work. I am so skeptical of handy people. I have had bad experiences at being charged high prices for sub par work. Javier adjusted the back door, and got the solid wood front door closing properly, and dead bolt closing appropriately. His price was reasonable and he showed up on time. I respect a person or company out there hustling every day. I would use this service again!
