Lifestyles is a great place for lighting and hardware, they have competitive pricing and friendly staff. I particularly recommend working with Amanda, she gets the job done! read more

We recently went on a search to replace 2 sofas and walked into Lifestyles in Edmond. We were helped by Laura. She is FABULOUS!!!! After visiting other furniture stores and not finding what I was looking for, I described what I wanted and she got on the internet. She found a manufacturer out of North Carolina that had the EXACT sofa I was hoping to buy. And then, instead of point me to a hundreds/thousands of fabric samples to pick from, she asked me questions and started narrowing it down for me. She worked with me until I had picked out the PERFECT fabric. She has great insights, great design ideas, and she is super friendly! I LOVED working with her and ended up getting 2 of the most luxurious sofas we have ever owned! I HIGHLY recommend working with Laura. She is a GEM!!! read more

We went in here because our builders (Tabor homes) said that we could exchange all of our light bulbs for free for life. That was indeed not true of the light bulbs that we received from Tabor but lifestyles does have a lifetime warranty on light bulbs of different varieties at a very low price. It is an amazing deal. We were upset that Tabor Homes was dishonest (we even called them that day to clarify and they lied to us then too) but we were happy we found this place. We will be buying all of our lights here. They lost a star because their employees are not welcoming or friendly AT ALL. They do not greet customers, smile or engage in positive customer service. It is very strange. The light fixtures are beautiful, definitely very expensive though. read more

Not only are their light fixtures incredibly overpriced but my wife and I got there about 5:15 pm and were still shopping at 6 pm when some rude old hag approached me and asked if we were going to buy anything and I said probably not today, and she said well we close at 6 and I politely responded that we should be through looking in about 10 mins. She said "10 minutes??, well we're closed now, you need to leave". So much for customer service. Guess we won't be back even though we have a $6000 lighting budget for our remodeling project. Other stores were extremely helpful btw. Kind of sad, really. It looks like they could have used the business. read more

I got here at 20 mins before closing and it's all locked up! If you close earlier then update your info. Not great to drive a distance and waste a customers time. They have wonderful products but need help on customer experience! read more

Five years ago we built a 4,000 sq ft home and used Lifestyles for every single light fixture, interior hardware and door knobs. The selection was excellent, multiple price points available and our builder highly recommended. At time, we were offered lifetime guaranty and exchange for LED bulbs and that our purchases would also be "in the system" in case of replacement/warranty etc. The initial follow up with Kathy/Sales was excellent but since her departure the customer service is progressively worsened. That the sales staff feel so comfortable, even emboldened to be dismissive and rude to the sales promotion we were offered at purchase is disheartening. And not just one- but another joined conversation sarcastically stating they didn't have to provide this service but they will. The fact that I was the ONLY customer in the building in a weekday afternoon speaks volumes about the success they have in attracting and maintaining a customer base. I would recommend window shopping here to see selection of beautiful fixtures but absolutely purchase elsewhere! read more

Today I went into lifestyles to look for a new light to replace my entryway light. I was in the store for at least 15 minutes not once did one of the staff stop to greet me say hello or acknowledge that I was there. There were two people working that day one other person in the store who they happen to be helping after about 15 minutes of walking back-and-forth I decided to leave and call the store for my car. The sales person became belligerent and argued with me that I was not in the store that long and that eventually she was going to speak to me. In what world or country does that make sense? Customer service 101 a customer walks in, you simply acknowledge them with a simple hello I'll be with you in a moment. Is that unreasonable? This is a store I will never ever patronize again. I've never been treated so poorly in all of my days. Then to have a customer service representative make excuses for their bad behavior, management you need to do better. Racial profiling, rude, arrogant staff. Owners get a clue. read more

I would agree with most of the low ratings here concerning customer service. It's very poor. I have shopped here with a generous budget during a remodel and my mom shopped for a single chandelier for her home. I got SLIGHTLY more help compared to us being practically nonexistent when we shopped for my mom. Basically, if your not spending $$$$, or associated with their network/circle of designers/builders/contractors, they have no desire to help you. Even if you do want a high price item, you'll have to work for their attention. read more

I finally got my fan after I called to see if was there. I get it home and it's yellow in my house I thought they ordered the wrong color but it looks white in the store. I didn't want it so I had to pay 50% restocking fee! read more

I spent 4000 for three fixtures. Lifestyles sold me Craftmade LED bulbs for the fixtures. They were incompatible with my dimmers so my electrician replaced with LED compatible dimmers at $40 each plus labor. Still wouldn't work so replaced bulbs with GE and everything works great. Called lifestyles to return the bulbs. They refused because the electrician had thrown away the boxes. Told me the issue was we didn't use Craftmade dimmers. Of course no one mentioned that when we bought the fixtures. So they are losing a customer over 5 $6.99 bulbs! read more

Walked in today. No one else in the store. Not 1 person offered to help us. Stood directly in front of 2 workers. No acknowledgement.

Be warie of their price matching policy. Other than that seemed be in top their game.

I'm surprised by all of the negative reviews! We recently purchased a condo and needed a new light fixture as well as a couple of fans. Our salesperson, Lance, was very helpful and helped us pick the right size fans we needed for our rooms as well as taking the time to explain how much air each one can circulate. The first one has been installed and it provides a LOT of circulation in a room that would likely be stuffy without it. We also loved the fact that the fans had a more modern look than what you might find at other stores. Gotta love when it can be fashionable and functional! Lance also made sure we understood that some of our items were special purchases and could not be returned without a stocking fee. We have no need to return anything, but I appreciate the fact that he wanted to make sure there were no surprises if we had changed our mind. Communication post-sale was also really good. Everything had to be ordered and Lance followed up each time an item came in. The pricing was also very reasonable and I feel there was good value for what we spent. I love their furniture as well and we will definitely be back should we need other items in the future. read more

We recently built a new home, and had to choose every single light fixture. It took 4 hours (there are a lot of lights)! Our sales rep was AMAZING! She figured out exactly what kind of style we liked and helped us narrow down options. Since we also had a budget, she was awesome at reigning me in and keeping me within it. There are so many headaches when building a house, but this step was actually enjoyable. Also, the prices for some fixtures can be very high. But, if you're looking for standard yet pretty fixtures, the prices are just as good (if not better) than any of the big box stores. read more

We ordered 2 different lights in July. I called several months following to check on the status of the order. We were told we would be contacted as soon as the item arrived. On both occasions, we were never contacted. It was 4-6 weeks later on both lights that I called and was told, "It's here." No phone call for either arrival for either item. read more

I gotta agree with some of the postings on here. I've been here on numerous occasions and I've rarely ever been acknowledged. I just walked out of here- 6:45pm on a Thursday night. I walked past four employees in here and not acknowledged once. It's like I was completely invisible! Craziness. On another occasion I came in close to closing and the one worker asked if I knew the store closed in 15 minutes...It's disappointing because the items are beautiful. I love their selection, but I am not inclined to shop here with how the ignore customers and are rude. Their competitors' employees can be overwhelming but it's way better than being totally ignored. read more

Good luck getting any help in this store. We are building a new home and have gone in to look at lighting, ceiling fans and cabinet hardware. Not once has anyone offered to help us. I think you could walk in waving fistfuls of cash and they'd still ignore you. My recommendation is , go in and find what you want and search online to get it elsewhere. read more

I hate coming here. Employees are rude, unhelpful. Always takes forever to get your order. I wouldn't come here if they didn't have a decent choices, or better than other places. Rude. read more

We're building a house and have been working with Regina. Love Lifestyles! Regina is so knowledgeable on all their products (They have way more products online and on their in-store online monitor). If you want something or have something in mind, they have it. They have the best prices and choices in town. Love Lifestyles! read more

Beautiful store! Terrible customer service! Staff is very unfriendly from sales, customer service counter to the gentlemen at loading dock. Spent $7,000 and wasn't even told thank you. read more

Worst service I have ever received ANYWHERE. The owner wouldn't apologize or even attempt to make amends for his horrible staff, either. Great selection of products, though. Now when I need something for a client I browse to get ideas and then order online. Even cheaper than using my interior designer discount! read more

This business was a nightmare to deal with during our build. Our fixture count was incorrect, the finish and chain length on our chandelier was completely wrong, calls were never returned, the list goes on. When I finally spoke to the "manager" he actually verbally attacked me. Completely insane. There's way too many similar stores in the area with the same products, not to mention you can order online and avoid the middle man and all of the upcharges. read more

Jill was an ABSOLUTE huge help & I will be returning today to purchase my fans and lighting thanks to her time and patience after consistently telling her "no" that fixture is not the "one" I am looking for. Finally found the perfect fits for our total renovations and will also return to this store once we are ready to purchase "more" for PHASE 2!!tx u Jill!! Shannon Bradshaw read more

I guess I don't look old enough to have a big enough budget for the sales people to "waste their time" with. The employees seem more interested in talking to each other than customers, and the prices that were displayed were outrageous. You lost my business! read more

We just built a new home and we're looking to upgrade the "builders special" fans. We had a great experience and no issues. Walked in on the weekend and was promptly helped. It's usually harder to find a great modern fan, but they had a great selection. Quality was very good and Prices were very comparable to the big box stores. Highly recommended Lifestyles and will use them again read more

So surprised with the negative reviews. Have always found customer service very very helpful. Prices are always below on what can be found on the internet. I definite ideas on what I want and they always go out of the way to help me find the right product. They never make me feel like a picky customer. read more

Wish we known how rude Lifestyle Store is but, online reviewing was limited if at all before 2005 when we gave them our money. I think its important for customers to know that if you patronize or pay extra for products because of warranty, this Company does not honor theirs. If the lantern I purchased is no longer available than a replacement should been offered. I had receipts and Lifetime means in my life and as long as I own the merchandise. Lifestyles Store doesn't deserve 1 star but you have to in order to post. Amanda Fietz: Reply LifeStyles Stores, Inc. Fake news is sometimes nothing more than only reporting part of a story, in this case Pamela Toolate has done just that. Ms. Toolate contacted LifeStyles several weeks ago regarding some outdoor fixtures that she purchase from us over 13 years ago. She asked if we could order parts for a fixture that was damaged when removed and reinstalled while painting her house. We were happy to accommodate her request and ordered the parts that she had reported as broken. When the parts came in, Ms. Toolate informed us that they did not fit or were the wrong parts. We then reconfirmed what parts she needed and reordered them. The second time, again the parts did not fit. We later found out that the manufacturer had made a slight style change in the light, and the old parts were no longer being made. After all the original fixtures were over 13 years old so a design change was inevitable. We informed Ms. Toolate that the manufacturer had made the style change and therefore repair parts were unavailable at which time Ms. Toolate asked LifeStyles to replace the fixture in accordance with our lifetime warranty. We told Ms. Toolate that our warranty did not apply in this case because, as she told us, the damage was not a manufacturing defect but actually caused when the fixture was removed and installed by her house painters. Our warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation or use. read more

I have been going room by room replacing the light fixtures in my home. I can be picky & slow in choosing. So many choices I want to get it right, and I love so many of them. My lighting specialist has been wonderful, knowledgeable & helpful at every turn. I've learned so much about lighting. Highly recommend to anyone. read more

I guess if everything goes well with what you purchase from them.. you could be happy. But if you are like me and buy a high end fan brand and it never works correctly.. they will ask you to pay to come out the 3rd time.. even though they could never get the ceiling fan to work in reverse. Now I have a $650 + 150 installation fan that does not work in reverse..and never has. Shame on you Lifestyles! read more

Their entire business model in a nutshell: pick lighting products that are on wayfair.com, order ONE unit for floor display. Then put a price tag on it at 1.8 times the wayfair price. When someone wants to buy it, tell them it's "out of stock, but we can order it for you"... and it will take two to three weeks to arrive. Want it faster? "Sure, we can get it expedited to 3 days for just 50% of the price" (in my case $1500). Okay, so I wait SIX weeks (not three or four) for the fixtures to arrive. Do yourself a favor. Just order direct from wayfair in the first place. These people screw up everything they touch. read more

This is a fabulously stocked and OVERPRICED lighting store. You would expect the staff to be as presentable and lovely as the building, but this is sadly not the case. They are sloppy, inept and the owner is one of the rudest people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Take my advice; go in, look around, find what you like, then come home and order it online for half the price and tax-free. Then have it shipped directly to your home. You will be saved a great deal of headache as your items will actually arrive in full working order with all of their pieces and no nonsense re-stocking fees from Lifestyles.
