I had several photo albums and a bunch of loose photos that I wanted digitized. And a few of them, I wanted some kind of restoration. Soraya does the most AMAZING work! She is extremely professional, sweet, takes wonderful care of treasured photos, and performs magic with her restoration of them. I have so many (VERY) old family photos that I've come across as I've gone through my mom's belongings. I wanted to restore them, print them out and frame them. It is hard to believe that it has been a year already, but I have to say thank you to Soraya of Life's Sweet! We lost our home and all of our belongings in the Marshall Fires, December of 2021. In January, I phoned Life Sweet to re-order a memory book I created with all of my husband's important photos that had perished in the fire. Soraya was so touched by our plight that she gifted us the replacement book. I cried with gratitude for the lost photos and for the display of kindness. I had videotapes, a big pile of them, that were pretty much useless without a VCR which we'd recently replaced with a DVD player. Not to mention that the tapes were aging and more likely to break or fail in some way with each passing year. I wanted to have them put onto DVDs so I prepared to ship them off to some company far away as I'd only found such services by searching the web, and none of the services I found were local. But lo and behold, I saw a Groupon one day that offered a discount on such service right here in town, at Life's Sweet. I took my videotapes and a few audiotapes into Life's Sweet for transfer. The people that work there are very nice, very helpful. They took my order and told me it would be ready in two months. Yes, two months. It is a long time but I wasn't in a hurry so I didn't mind. But keep that in mind if you're looking to get something done quickly. They also do services like taking a pile of photos and putting them on a DVD for you with music, or making them into a photo book. Not sure how long those projects take, but I'm guessing some lead time will be necessary. Most of my stuff came back fine - not great, just fine (seems like they could improve the appearance of the final product), though they actually took even a little longer than the original promise date. And our name was misspelled on some of the DVDs so they had to redo those which took another month - and that was their "we'll guess this fixed asap" timeline. Hmmm. But they did get it done. Would I use them again? Probably, if it was just a simple project where time didn't matter too much and my goal was just to preserve content. read more

The videos I had transferred didn't work on my particular computer and they went above and beyond to help me resolve the issue. In addition, they do extremely high quality work and are friendly. I highly recommend their services for photo transfers, digital to paper scrapbooks and other great gifts!
