She carefully watched and listened to me as I familiarized myself with the sewing machine. She showed me step by step from how to wind a bobbin to sewing the final stitch. Fairfield use to be a great district. This is no longer the case. They take every opportunity to…read morebelittle and make kids feel insecure about their knowledge. Its a one size fits all cirriculumn. Interventions for everything, teachers are not helpful, IEP program is amazing, but besides that its gone down hill.

This school district holds its good and bad points. The High School is a nice building and well…read moremaintained. Many of the staff members are nice. The front office/administrators tend to be rather unfriendly! Thither is a major problem with communication within the district, fights almost daily, & issues with kids potentially carrying weapons/drugs. Recently there was an incident right after school dismissed the students in clubs were told to evacuate the high school and my child was told to move over to Jungle Jim's and call someone for a ride! The buses had departed and the students that were still there for there for after school activities were forced to leave because as normal a fight broke out and the perpetrators made threats. Fairfield schools are becoming scary and I'm glad my students are almost done! To each his own make decisions for yourself but I fear daily about the safety of my kids.
