I talked to 2 employees about my daughter doing a June month camp and 1 week in July since I had a vacation planned for July and both employees said that's ok we will charge you for that week in July. when I went to give my paperwork I forgot her name she told me I had to register again just for the July 1 week. I was like they didn't tell me that but she was like I am CEO that's the rule. while maybe explain the rule to your employees. I was saddened by how they handled people by watching them interact. There was a mother who came to drop off her kid and the CEO said she wouldn't be able to keep her son there that day because other kids were going field trip and his paperwork wasn't ready. The mother keeps saying your employee said my son would be able to join from today, and I have to go to work. The mother walked out and the CEO said I don't care. That was inconsiderate and rude. I felt like they wouldn't treat you nicely if you weren't back for regular daycare. I paid for the service! I will never put my kiddo there.

The district has grown largely since I was there but I have heard only good things about recent developments. I attended Freedom Elementary and Lakota Ridge Junior High for K-8. Freedom has consistently been ranked a "Blue Ribbon" school and I had some amazing teachers there that I am still actually in touch with. Lakota Ridge was great, too. I did not attend a Lakota high school because my parents felt that the schools were too large (over 3,000 students) but I have good friends that went K-12 in the district and are currently very successful college students. The current statistic in Lakota is that 90% of grads attend college, pretty impressive for such a large district. I got a great base education at Lakota and would highly recommend the district to any parent moving to Cincinnati.
