Someone just finished at the check-in, so they attended me after 30 secs. The check-in process only took about 1 min. There is a computer monitor showing the patients and approximate wait time, including anyone with an appointment; there was one patient scheduled at 08:15. There are 4 cubicles. Cubicle 4 has a door that closes and has a medical bed. I was asked to go into cubicle 4 at 08:24. The technician started at 08:29. I finished at 08:32. I was told that Saturdays are their busiest day but starting at 10:00. I'm glad I came early. There were three technicians, one of whom handled the reception. There is a fourth person who seems to only do administration. The lab is wheelchair accessible.There is no free WiFi. There is one gender-neutral washroom, which is wheelchair accessible. At 11:15, my wait time is 7 mins with 1 person (supposedly) in front of me, but there are 10 people total in the waiting room! I really suspect that wait shows up on their TV screen are only the people using MyTurn. The screen used to reflect everyone in the room! At 11:22, I'm still at 7 mins wait. I spoke to the receptionist. She said she has been very busy with phone calls. She hasn't entered me into their local system yet, but assured me she will enter people in the order she received the requisitions! At 11:26, the receptionist finally entered the requisitions. I am at 7 mins and 26 mins! I asked the receptionist. She said I was supposed to inform her when I arrived! The website did not mention that! I was let in at 11:27! I always get lightheaded when I get blood drawn, and when I told this to my nurse Christine she made time for me to lay down so that I didn't faint, and finished the process so quickly that I was affected less that usual.
