There is at best space for 10 people to be seated. It's not uncommon for 30 people to be standing around waiting. No space or seating in the hallway either. Make an appointment, show up 15 minutes before you're appointment, and you will be lucky if they have taken your information 45 minuets after you've arrived. Another half hour to an hour later and you'll finally be done. This is if you book an appointment, walk ins pretty much should book the day of work and keep their fingers crossed that it ever happens. This is their new facility. They were next door last year with adequate seating in the waiting room. I guess this is their version of "improving" things. No doubt this decision has more to do with shareholder satisfaction than patient satisfaction. Private healthcare showing it's constant diminishing level of service to service it's constant pursuit of profit.

I have unfortunately never been able to use this location for reasons that are beyond…read morefrustrating!!! I was pregnant last year, and I'm pregnant again this year.. During both pregnancies I have attempted to call the Cambridge location several, SEVERAL time and not once have I gotten a reply. In the past I've left messages, which took way to long to get a response to. With my previous pregnancy this literally caused me to use another UC baby location and totally inconvenience ourselves to try to Hamilton. Again, I've been calling every other day, multiple time's, for several days... with no response???? My advice is to please please spend the extra money and hire a receptionist! This is again going to resort to me using another location because it's impossible to get in contact with your location.

8 hours waiting is unacceptable for a hospital ER? Unless you are dying, which from what I saw in…read morethe waiting room last friday there was not one critically ill patient, I'd say that's a very unacceptable view. Every one in Canada knows that if they go the ER, and they are non-critical, they are going to wait. I went to the hospital on 3/15/2013 after being bounced around by my family doctor for months. I waited 2 hours to be admitted and another 4 hours while they did tests such as a CT scan with IV contrast dye. The nurses were wonderful. The staff was pleasant. That's all that matters. In the end, the doctor was able to finally diagnose my issue which put my mind at rest. I'm glad I drove from Toronto to go down to Cambridge because I got what I expected: a much shorter waiting time and nicer staff.

The nurses are all rude with blunt answers and not willing to push anything seeing that my husband is in a lot of pain and throwing up every 5 minutes. Worst absolute hospital that I have ever been to. So sad that this is the only hospital in Cambridge because the staff is absolutely terrible. You will literally die in the emergency room before you even get a chance to see a doctor.
