Having had multiple ultrasounds over 3 pregnancies, I can confidently say my experience here was top notch. The staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, kind and thorough. Even my husband who has basically been treated as second class at every other ultrasound said he left feeling like he was valued. I can't say enough for the staff and service at STL. Wont ever go anywhere else again!

The wait time isn't that long and I was able to see the technician in 20 mins for my ultrasound. Farah, my technician was very nice and friendly. She explained what she was doing every step of the way and even let me take a video of the ultrasound for my husband since they only allow one person at a time because of Covid. Overall, really good experience. I think I prefer this place over my regular place and will be coming back for sure

Every one in Canada knows that if they go the ER, and they are non-critical, they are going to wait. I went to the hospital on 3/15/2013 after being bounced around by my family doctor for months. I waited 2 hours to be admitted and another 4 hours while they did tests such as a CT scan with IV contrast dye. The nurses were wonderful. The staff was pleasant. That's all that matters. In the end, the doctor was able to finally diagnose my issue which put my mind at rest. I'm glad I drove from Toronto to go down to Cambridge because I got what I expected: a much shorter waiting time and nicer staff.

The nurses are all rude with blunt answers and not willing to push anything seeing that my husband is in a lot of pain and throwing up every 5 minutes. Worst absolute hospital that I have ever been to. So sad that this is the only hospital in Cambridge because the staff is absolutely terrible. You will literally die in the emergency room before you even get a chance to see a doctor.

The X-ray I had was quick and painless. The Ultrasound technicians I've experienced are not that friendly, they treat you more like a number than a human being. They also don't seem that flexible. Recently the front desk attendant messed up on a booking time she gave me and I arrived there 30 minutes later than what the booking time should have been, the ultrasound technician refused to take me (even though it was not my fault). Further, they only do ultrasounds up until 10:45am on the days they do them.

There is at best space for 10 people to be seated. It's not uncommon for 30 people to be standing around waiting. No space or seating in the hallway either. Make an appointment, show up 15 minutes before you're appointment, and you will be lucky if they have taken your information 45 minuets after you've arrived. Another half hour to an hour later and you'll finally be done. This is if you book an appointment, walk ins pretty much should book the day of work and keep their fingers crossed that it ever happens. This is their new facility. They were next door last year with adequate seating in the waiting room. I guess this is their version of "improving" things. No doubt this decision has more to do with shareholder satisfaction than patient satisfaction. Private healthcare showing it's constant diminishing level of service to service it's constant pursuit of profit.
