I was hoping for a great class based on the reviews, and the itinerary listed. However, the class was not ideal. * Only practiced CPR on adult and infant manikins once with no practice for child CPR procedures. * No hands-on training for AED use, choking response, or first aid procedures. * Approximately 30 students with only 3 adult and 3 infant manikins available for training. They appeared to be unprepared for the number of attendees as seats were slowly coming into an already packed room for each new person that came through the door. This created a disorganized atmosphere, and gave the impression that they did not know how many students had registered for the class. * Instructor was often difficult to hear due to soft speaking and noise outside of the classroom. * Assistant was unavailable to assist instructor in observing the hands-on CPR practice stating that they were doing a test during the class. * Many participants appeared to be performing compressions incorrectly, as the feedback lights were frequently red or off, indicating improper compression depth, hand placement, or technique. Nothing was corrected. * Text message notifications repeatedly appeared on the presentation screen, including one with derogatory language. I found this to be unprofessional, distracting, and awkward. * Course was advertised as 2 hours but ended after about 1.5 hours. * Final material was rushed, leaving little time for questions or additional practice. * Left feeling unprepared and disappointed with the overall quality of the training. I understand that unexpected issues can arise, but I am disappointed by the lack of organization, instruction, and structure in a class that teaches critical lifesaving skills. I plan to get better training in a CPR, AED, and First Aid class somewhere else.

I attribute this to the staff that cares for her. I'm very confident that she is treated in a way that brings her to a better quality of life. Her mind is occupied with games and activities that are what is needed for her to progress. This program has been very attentive to her needs. I would highly recommend this program to anyone in need. Manila provides transportation to and from the program, they provide meals and activities as well as having a staff that can attend to medical needs. This was important as my daughter is an insulin diabetic with mental health related issues that at times require constant supervision and am I happy with what is offered. This program has made the difference for us both. I know it could make a difference for all in need. If you arrange a tour and do as I did you too will have the answer to your prayers. I thank God I found this program. My daughter comes home with a smile and looks forward to every new day.

Extremely upbeat, funny, and kept the class engaged and alert for the most part! I think that every person should take a CPR class just to have the basic knowledge of what needs to be done incase you're put in a position where your aid is needed. I'm happy that this class is in person and that you can actually act out and get a feel of the necessary steps you need to take before putting what you learned to use. Overall, I was pleased with my experience and will definitely recommend to anyone wanting/needing to get certified.

All instructors should be on the same page and teach the material in a timely manner so every class gets the same opportunity to properly learn ALL of the correct information and techniques as these things are very important parts to the job we are getting certified for. Also someone who is NOT certified should not be training or assisting the trainers and teaching incorrect information/techniques. I had Aj, Andrew, and Brenda as instructors and I think they should get a refresher on teaching the material. This experience was alarming.

We received flash cards and a sign language book as part of the class, which are helpful to remember the signs after learning the correct gesture during the class. My mother and wife attended with us as grandparents are invited to attend, and we all practice our signs with each other so we use consistent signs with the baby. I supplemented the class by watching some YouTube videos, but I enjoyed the live class because we could ask questions and get the repetition of the signs through songs and practice. Definitely recommend!
