They fixed all the televisions and they are broadcasting. Although the televisions by the treadmills are both on the channel. I want CNBC also.

Beautiful workout spot! I absolutely love the modern and relaxed atmosphere, starting with the cheerful greeting every time you walk through the door. They have state-of-the-art equipment and a workout that suits anyone of all ages and levels. The pool area is gorgeous and the Aqua class with Bridgette is the perfect start to any day! The hot tub and sauna made the best ending to any work out, and of course, then a shake from the cafe. I really love how much time and effort is taken into making sure everything is extremely clean, especially the locker room. No water was left on the floor because someone is always keeping it nice. I felt so pampered with all of their little amenities down to the mouthwash and razors. LT definitely is more than a gym and goes beyond to make sure every guest feels even better when they leave!

We have been coming here for years and really love it. They are definitely a step above every other gym in the area. They do a fantastic job keeping the facilities clean and safe for members. They also have a pool, which we love year round. They have water slides and a fountain for kids and the lap pool is a great low-impact workout. We also love that they provide towels, shampoo and soap in the locker rooms. There are a variety of group fitness classes for every interest and fitness level that are included and many individual machines and weights. If you get hungry or need to refuel after your workout you can head to the cafe. They have a variety of tasty shakes and meals that are always a nice treat.

What's the difference between a gold, platinum, and diamond membership? I have looked all over the website and there is no where that shows which each membership specifically offers.?

Basicly it's about Location! Troy & Macomb Twp are Gold, Rochester is Platinum and Bloomfield Hills is the only Diamond. Rochester offers Tennis Courts and classes and have better outdoor pool area. Bloomfield Hills I'm not sure. Hope this helped a…

Is the lap pool usually off limits for regular members 5 to 7pm because classes are going on?

For the most part yes, there is only one lane that is available during those times.

Is there a separate fee to use the pool? I am not a member & wanted to know if I could come here to use the pool only

You have to be a member to use the pool, they don't allow day use of the pool. If you know a member of the club though they could bring you as a guest and you could get in that way. Hope that helps!

I went in and told them (a) why I was in town and (b) told them that I am training for Arizona Raw Strength competition. I told them that I needed to deadlift in my bare feet. They told me "no problem" and acknowledged that that is a common request amongst powerlifters in training. I paid for four sessions in advance. Overall, the place had the equipment and was reasonably clean. The front desk staff seemed distracted and out-of-sorts most days. I show up for my first session, and the place is full of "gym bros" doing a million curls with tiny weights. They were vanity lifters with almost no appreciation for the discipline of real training. I had the heavy weights to myself. I trained. I left. The next two sessions were similar. I deadlifted with no shoes. I shouldn't have to explain why that is important to those who are serious lifters. I trained. I left. On the fourth visit, a lumbersexual appeared at my shoulder while I was finishing my deadlifts. He ordered me to put on shoes, because "lifting barefoot is unsanitary" and "makes the other members uncomfortable". He claimed to be the manager. I told him the truth. My brother died the day before. This was my final set on my final day in his gym. His tone softened a bit. I also explained that his front desk staff SPECIFICALLY told me that I could deadlift barefooted. Then, the lumbersexual got mad. He said, "I AM THE MANAGER. Whoever told you that was wrong." I told the guy to chill. I was leaving. No biggie. I entered and won my age/weight division in Arizona in June. My home gym in Tucson won its THIRD national championship IN A ROW. We have multiple world record holders. Look, I want to give people a break, especially after losing my brother, but, after waiting a few months, this experience really bothered me. The lumbersexual manager strikes me as a bully to his staff and a poor leader. Also, I don't think he knows a single thing about real strength training. Go here if you don't care about the staff and know what you need to do. If you need help or real training, go somewhere else. I think this place will get you hurt. This gym is like open water for beginning swimmers. Not good. Also, the men's locker room was an outdated pig sty. Which, of course, made me wonder why my barefoot training on the stall matts was "unsanitary"... Peace, STP

The gym is locked 24/7 and only members or staff have access. This makes me extremely safe and at ease when I'm working out early in the morning or late at night and I am one of the few people at the gym. Although the HotWorx app itself could use some updating I do really like that it shows each level you hit based on how many calories you've burned. Like a knucklehead after doing Hot cycle, I then tried hot yoga. Mistake, huge mistake. I nearly passed out about 10 minutes in. Hot yoga is 45 minutes and after doing hot cycle for 15 minutes may have been to much. You need an appointment which is easy thanks to their app and its open 24 hours.

Extremely Misleading Sales Tactics & Unprofessional Experience…read more I walked into Edge Fitness today after speaking with a representative named Blake yesterday. I was literally online completing my membership purchase when he called me -- told me to stop, said he had better "in-house deals," and even mentioned a "buy one year, get one year free" offer. He asked me to come in Saturday, and we set an appointment for 12:30 PM. I rearranged my day, left my kids at home, and showed up exactly as scheduled. When I asked for Blake, I was told the deal he promised was "gone" and that the price had actually gone up from what I saw online. Not only was the $19.99 mid-tier no longer available, but the price was now $22.99... and suddenly the "one year free" became "three months free," which could "change tomorrow." Why would you call me, stop me from purchasing online, tell me to come in for a better deal, and then act like none of it ever happened the next day? The young woman who tried to help afterward was polite, but the damage was done. The experience was misleading, dismissive, and honestly embarrassing for the gym. This isn't how you treat people who walk in ready to do business -- especially someone recovering from spinal surgery who explained they're just trying to get back into fitness with basic stretching. This felt like a bait-and-switch situation, and if this is how Edge Fitness trains staff to operate, corporate needs to know. Completely unacceptable.

Now, the second day I went I scanned in with the pass and as I went into the ladies locker room I received a call from unknown number - I answered and it was a lady that was rude, then my phone service was going in and out - anyway I was told I needed to go to the sales desk to activate my pass. I walked up and experienced THE WORST attitude imaginable- Salena treated me unprofessionally and an annoyance by instantly saying " are you signing up or not" . I said " well I have 7 day pass and it depends on if I like the gym, staff and equipment, I was here one day so far, do people just instantly sign up on a free pass without experiencing the gym?" And she said " they just sign up". I'm confused that defeats the point of getting a week to try a gym out?!? Next, she said she was keeping my I.D. And I could get it when I left and I had asked her why she had to keep it and said it was her policy- which is fine but maybe she could have verbalized it. I still can't believe she is the sales manager. Shes VERY disrespectful. When I picked up my license I asked who was the manager and she said she was I said " and that's how you expect to get someone to sign up ?" And she said " you don't have to" and I said " well what if I wanted to ?!" She said " then do it " - WELP, You blew that SALENA. Selena does not have the people or communication skills to be SELLING memberships at a gym. For all these reasons I will not sign up and I refuse to finish my free pass. As soon as I left the gym I received an email with price deals that were cheaper than ever advertised. However, even a cheap price won't get me in there, it's too late. Lastly, the equipment is old but it did have different machines than my current gym which was nice, the machines are close together so you smell other B.O. and farts. No one wipes the machines down - I don't like the wet wipes I prefer the spray and paper towel. Lastly, the locker room floors were dirty and 3 women hogged the entire sauna by man spreading over the benches. To conclude I don't recommend going to THIS LA Fitness, there are so many options for gyms and you won't get treated like Sh*t. But, if you can find Fabricio teaching Zumba anywhere else , I recommend you try his class, you will love it!
