High end gym/ spa. One of the most, if not most expensive in Miami. But it is wonderful, clean , great equipment.. classes and trainers are first class. There is space to hang out, either by th pool or at the cafe. Lots of people working with their laptops. Membership includes lymphatic and hydro massage machines. 3 hours of parking and access to same or lower tiers clubs around the country.. which I have used in DC. I have been a member for 2 years and just cancelled. I have such a laundry list of reasons to not like this club. Every class I loved here was cancelled. The other classes I want to take are always waitlisted. The kids evening babysitting service is never available. I once had an eyelash appointment with someone who ended up being 45 min late and then she text berated me for leaving even though I had another appointment to get to and it was her fault she was so late. Today was the last straw, we are celebrating my daughter's birthday and wanted to go to the pool. My sister just flew in to celebrate and left her wallet at our house when she quickly packed to leave. Despite having been my guest in the past, they refused to let her in without her physical ID. She is so sweet and non-threatening, but the robots at the front desk were horrifically rude, offered no opportunity to speak to a manager and could not care less that it was my daughter's birthday. Human empathy and intervention matters. Sometimes you have to say -why do we have this rule and can we make an exception given the circumstance? The way that they treated us at the front desk makes it clear to me that all they care about is money, they don't even train their employees on how to be kind. My husband spends $1700 a month on private training and orthopedic services on top of the $600+ per month we spent on membership. They're really dropping the ball for something pretty lame. Just joined and all I can say what a dramatic difference and upgrade from Equinox Brickell: *80,000 square foot facility, 2x the size of Equinox; *New and modern state of the art equipment from leading brands such as TechnoGym; Equinox has outdated machines that it never updates. *Clean and functional locker room/sauna/steam/whirlpool areas; *LifeClinic chiropractic and rehibilitation/physical therapy area; *Full service cafe with hot food items and work areas; *2 functional pools included in basic membership cost with bimonthly pool parties; towels included. *TV's throughout the gym; *Spa *NO hotel guests; *Though they exist here, fewer douches hogging a machine sending texts for 10 minutes in between sets like a teenage girl at her first slumber party instead of actually exercising while others are waiting; *Unlike Equinox, I've not seen one service animal on the gym floor (or any other gym for that matter). *Personal trainers are available but aren't pushed on you nor do they aggressively come up to you selling their services; *Water fountains that do not depend upon availability and use of 1 ounce paper cups; *Life Time participates in Medicare's Renew Active and Silver Sneaker programs; Equinox does not. *Other Life Time's (The Falls and Palm Beach Gardens) offer rock climbing wall and Pickleball; *3 hours validated parking; *Erba and Graziano's located across from gym, Shops at Merrick Park a 5 minute walk; *Clubs in 31 States, and more. My wife and I have been on their Medicare wait list for six months. I called them today and learned that it would be another year. As an ARORA member, I'm fortunate to get great teachers in my ARORA classes like ADELA for yoga. I came in today with shooting pain from the hip, but the stretching we did in class has taken it away. I'm giving this two stars because even as they raise their prices for the new year little things are going down in this facility number one you'll always find hairs all over the showers. The women's spa water looks greenish at all times. I think it needs to be repainted, just an overall deep cleaning needs to be done in this facility also some of the group classes - they should not allow people to place all their bags : shoes against the bars, very distracting for the new prices I Expect this gym to be in tip top shape read more

We moved here less than a month ago and decided to enroll for the childcare. Wife did the tour with our youngest while I came after with our other son and my grandmother. We played outside for a long time. My grandmother is 97 and eventually needed to pee. I brought her to the desk and asked politely if she could use their restroom. They asked me if I was a member. I said no. They told me entry was only available to members. I indicated we would be soon, that my wife just did the tour. (The reality is we would've already enrolled had she brought her ID moments earlier.) I was taken aback by the initial. But I asked again, can you just give us this courtesy? They told us to go across the way. I told my wife we can still enroll despite the bitterness if that's what she wants. She told me she doesn't share their values. She's just as indignant. The person who denied a 97 yr old the bathroom was the same guy who gave my wife the tour. His colleague was equally obstinate. It happened so fast, but how you make decisions in an unexpected moment says a lot about you or your employer. They seemed like nice guys, so I assume this kind of unyielding attitude was company mandated. The irony is, I would've expected their gym-sales mindset to have overridden whatever else they were thinking. read more

Only 7 squat racks, 2 flat benches, and 1 incline bench. Not a PL/BB's gym. All the weightlifting equipment exists on a narrow strip of floor. No GHD. Everything else is a high end experience though. Showers are nice with a rain head, bathrooms are wide and spacious. Group fitness classes seem really decent here. Even the equipment is the most current/updated Lifetime gear, alpha plates are the thin bumper ones, all the barbells are eleiko weightlifting bars, hex plates even have a LT logo on them. Decent gym if you're travelling, remember you can visit for free if you have an LT membership in 2023. read more

The trainers are great and the class schedule fits work-life balance. Henri, Elena and Sergio rock. They all do, but they are standouts. Reception is always welcoming and helpful. Especially Michael. Like another person noted, and people chat about in the circles at the gym, the downside is, hands down, is guest hygiene. Some guests are extremely basic. My feedback to Life Time has always been that they need to be stricter on guests, below. 1. Women wear their dirty clothes straight from class into the steam room and sauna. They even wear their dirty gym shoes Oblivious? Selfish? Poor hygiene? I've never seen it on this scale. I've raised it up but nothing gets done. A friend got ring worm from the facilities and so I never use them due to this and the volume of people. A waste of $ and it took away something that I was excited to use. 2. Ladies wall around making TikToks, taking video WhatsApps etc. in the locker room and spa. They even take it into the toilet when they pee!! The signage says camera phone is banned. They don't care about the privacy of others and despite a few of us raising nothing gets done and the staff never pull anyone up - they walk past. Now I line up for one of the change rooms, but this shouldn't even be a thing. 3. After class people don't wipe the bikes down. Yoga is much better but the bikes.. Ugh. Wipe before you get on! TBH, Anatomy in the Grove was like this and that's why I didn't renew and moved. I wish guests would do better with hygiene and privacy, and that the staff were more vigilant. read more

Been apart of lifetime for years, seen this gym change a lot. And way too quickly. They have fired, let go, and gotten rid of everyone way too quick and all at once. I use to walk into this gym and get greeted with friendly smiles and they literally havent taught or trained their new weekday greeters to say anything. They awkwardly stand there. The gym is architecturally very nice, gym seems to be pretty clean, amenities are all very nice and are what make it worth it However if a great instructor can't even stay for more than a year then there's clearly something up with management. They have Sergio, whose incredibly pompous and arrogant and tbh not that great of an instructor.. he literally said once out loud during a gtx class "I literally dont know what to say today, so do your thing everyone" super lazy, this is not the modeling industry dude.. i do not give a sh*t to see you stand and look pretty bc I'm paying to be told what to do in a workout class so i get RESULTS. Take Eric or Sierra if you want a great GTX class with instructors who care. Luis for Yoga, and Marie C. Or E. for Pilates. Simone, Elena, Liana are also excellent. All the zumba instructors they usually have here are fabulous equally but brings me to my next point: They took out all the best dance and zumba instructors. What happened? Their turn around time for instructors happily teaching there is way way too quick. I understand being flexible in giving new instructors a chance but it makes things kinda depressing to see they gone in a blink of an eye. As a member, this gym has so much potential to continue to be the best gym but please teach your staff to GREET and be friendly and keep your employees happy so they want to stay and dont be so quick to get rid of them over one little thing. read more

LifeTime Fitness is a Very Unfair Organization. They say they participate in the insurance/Medicare Renew Active program, however they are now charging new members who have this benefit $175 per month while not charging current Renew Active Members. I absolutely love Lifetime! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a smile, and everyone there is so friendly and polite. Their kids club is worth every penny, my girls absolutely love it, and they have parents night 2x a month The gym is super clean and organized basically at all times! The steam and the sauna room are the best, I specially love the steam room to stretch after a strenuous workout. And you can't leave without passing by the cafe a grabbing a protein shake. I've also been to their spa, again very friendly staff. And I loved getting my hair done as well. read more

I came here as a guest because my husband has a membership here and I fell in love with this place. I think I am going to sign up as well. We have 2 kids and they have an amazing kids area. They are all sectioned off into different age groups. I have a 4 year old and 1 year old and let me tell you my 1 year old left me and did not even care about me. Normally he looks at me and like mom come with me but he did so good. They have an amazing gym area. Everything is so clean and nice. They had so many different classes going on which is super cool! They have a pool and lots of family's there with kids on the weekend for all of them to make friends and play. The locker area is so nice and they have everything there provided for you from towels to mouth wash, towels, soap which you take a shower, q tips. Anything you can think of they have it. read more

Parking: Large parking garage available. I do not see parking ever being an issue, unless you have a large vehicle that does not fit. Gym: This club has several different levels, but the main area of my interest was the locker room and weight room. The locker room was huge and amazing. Lockable lockers, clean towels, razors, mouthwash, shaving cream, deodorant, the list goes on. The locker room was excellent. The weight area was nice, everything looked new and clean, but the selection was not as great as I hoped. More machines would be nice. For example, only saw 1 leg curl machine for the whole gym and only 1 cable machine. I should also mention the gym also has a small outdoor pool and cafe. Customer Service: After parking in the garage, I walked towards the gym and was not quite sure where I was going, so I asked a lady wearing a lifetime shirt who was walking in front of me for directions, she walked me to the gym and helped me get checked-in. She was super nice, I believe her name was Bex. This gym is a signature club and should be the best, but my local level-2 lifetime has a huge outdoor pool with slides and tons of weight training equipment. Therefore, I give this gym 4 stars based on the small selection of weight training equipment. read more

Hello Life Time Coral Gables.... Way more than a gym. You can literally live at this LifeTime - inside the village. This brand new location opened in August 2021, and you can tell in the details how much work went into the design. At this luxury athletic resort, you can do it all! Grab something healthy to eat at the LifeCafe, utilize the LifeSpa for a pampering session, unwind in the saunas... take a dip in the outside pool. Or my favorite area, hit up the recovery lounge to get a HydroMessage and get rejuvenated. If fitness is your jam, the fitness floor offers all sorts of equipment and there's plenty of group fitness studios (yoga, Pilates, Alpha, etc). And bring your kiddos - there's a huge Child Center with its own multi center to keep the kids active. What a perfect place to maintain a healthy lifestyle, will visit again when in Coral Gables - absolutely beautiful facility! read more

I have been a member for over a year and really love it here! The staff is so nice and professional. I can tell they genuinely care about their members. I have loved all the classes, equipment, spa and pool. I think this is the best gym in Miami. The only negative is that it gets crowded sometimes, but that's a testament to how much people love this gym. Keep up the great work! The facilities are overall excellent, but there's a couple of crucial flaws that hurts it and makes me rate it net negative. The first is that the design of the locker room and bathrooms makes no sense. There is a hallway from the locker room that leads to the jacuzzi, steam, and sauna rooms. You have to pass that to get to the bathroom, showers, and sinks. The result is you have a ton of people coming and leaving the jacuzzi and shower areas dripping water, and people with shoes stepping all over it in the same hallway. As a result the ground here is almost constantly dirty with visible mud, and I'm no germaphobe. The staff not only doesn't seem to care that much about it but actively disregard it. I just witnessed one staff member take 4 visitors on a tour inside the closed in jacuzzi area with their shoes on, leaving footprints and dirt everywhere. One guy even took a step into the steam room. The gym isn't the best but it's definitely above average. Got everything you could realistically need. Cafe is pricey but decent, staff is generally polite enough, but not on top of basic considerations like what I just mentioned. It's worth it if you live/work here but that's about it I'd say. read more

It's just a big disappointment for me not being able to get a tour of the gym before I sign up. I understand that tours of the gym is only up to 5pm but at least have some people for after hours tours. Due to my work schedule I can't come earlier and would be free after 8pm which is why I like the idea of a 24/7 gym. Also being it's my first time at this gym, the idea of paying $50 just to see the gym without a tour is just crazy. I would never sign up for a membership without seeing the gym and amenities that it has to offer. read more

They hold classes using most of the weight racks during busy times creating absolute chaos for everyone else. There's already not enough equipment during peak times for everyone so this is a real problem. These classes could be held elsewhere because they don't even use the weight racks for these classes. Find another gym if you plan to go between 6-8am or 6-8pm. read more
