They were fine and respectful just felt like the comics held back a little because it was kids. We will def go back for a 21 up show. We will won these tickets over Christmas so it was a nice surprise to get to do something in our own town that we had not done. The comics were good we had great laughs. The show we went to seemed to be like an add on show from the main event just before. They seemed surprised that we showed up for just the late show only. Anyway, it was a beginners improv night with some guidance from the regular players. We had a lot of laughs even though it was only about 40 mins. Next time I'll come for one of the regular shows because everyone was so nice and I really enjoyed the space.

Last night my husband and I saw the new production of The Revolutionists. Previously, I worked and…read moretaught theater make-up, costuming and sets, and my husband was an actor and director. The script has great potential, but we were disappointed with the production. One actress screamed her way through the play, and the repeated knife jabbing was far too much. One actress, Andrea Frankle, was terrific in the role of Marie. The others lacked finesse and nuance in their character developments. Kudos to the set, lighting and costumer designers which were terrific. And finally, the most disappointing was from the Director. Some of staging was confusing and unnecessary, and often didn't allow the actresses to communicate well. If you are unfamiliar with the repertory theater, try them out. But for this production, I'd rate them 2.5 stars out of 5.

I moved to Savannah in 1976 with my husband and our three children from NJ. We often passed this establishment as we did live nearby. We saw the girls outside twirling their batons. My girls were so excited and wanted to take lessons. So, one day, we stopped and walked onto the lawn. I remember the stares of astonishment! I was approached and told that we were in the wrong place and was directed to the West Broad Street YMCA, for Blacks.

My husband, two friends and I took this tour on Saturday afternoon on Sept 12, 2026. It was a hot…read moreday and luckily that day the tour was on an air-conditioned bus rather than a trolley. The Moron Twins, Dani and Danny (AKA Ava & Jamal), were entertaining from start to finish. They did a great job getting the audience involved and the jokes, commentary, and occasional history lessons never sounded like they were repeating something they had memorized - it sounded like they were sharing the information for the first time. I think it's smart there is a minimum age requirement (13 years). There is occasional adult language and situations, but never anything over-the-top; I'd say it's the equivalent of a PG-13 rating at the theater. My favorite part was when Danny, a black man wearing a red wig, pretended to be Julia Roberts. He had left the bus a minute or so earlier during another skit and showed up strolling along the sidewalk with his red wig, engaging passing vehicles and pedestrians - it was hilarious. There was a brief stop in the middle of the tour, long enough for everyone to use the restroom and freshen their drinks. I'd like to give a special, personal shout-out to Jamal for looking out for my husband when he was having trouble getting on the bus due to a bad hip. Thank you, Jamal! It meant a lot to me. If you are visiting or if you live in Savannah, this is a must-see tour. I highly recommend it.

What a blast! Danny Moron and Danni Moron, the Moron Twins were a great duo to entertain the group…read more It's nonstop laughter from start to finish as the duo cracked jokes that interlaced with each other in a smooth delivery. They incorporated material from guests on the bus and peppered laughs throughout the tour. It was irreverent, a little raunchy in just the right way to make you blush. One of the highlights include Danny existing the bus and taking the show to the street with innocent bystanders becoming part of the show, all while narrated inside by Danni. We covered several blocks with Danny running through the streets and squares while we laughed in the air conditioned trolly. A great show, must do when visiting Savannah... and you'll learn a little history too... but much, but just enough.

We went to Savannah Sharks (SS) for a birthday party over the weekend. We were excited to celebrate…read moreour friend's birthday and also to check out SS since we have never been there and always see the bright playground from the side of the road. They are located right behind H & L Tire Auto and Repair. From their privat parking lot, their entrance is found by going to the back of the building. - Activities - There have 2 areas for play, inside and outside. Inside, there are 2 sections. When you walk in, you will find the reception and where the "party area" will be located if you have a birthday party there. The front desk is there as well with some bows for sale. Then there is a door that lead to the large gym where all the mats were set up for kids to run around, tumble and play. Outside, there is a large, brightly colored playground. My kids had a great time running around and playing at the birthday party with friends. One thing to note is that they only have one staff member to supervise the entire premises when holding a party. You also need to sign a waiver for your kids. I believe they also have free play days, but I think the main part of their business is Cheerleading coaching. Not sure what the party fees are, as we were not hosting the party, but it will hold quite a lot of people and our friends brought in the food they desired. All in all, it's a great place for a birthday party. It's also a great indoor activity option for young kids for these hot summer days that are already here.
