Selah was a great tour guide. We really enjoyed this tour! It was a nice length, not too long but we felt we got our $30 worth.

First off I have been on many ghost tours as a local but this one I have to say was one of the worse. Mainly because our guide was negative and made it clear multiple times that he didn't believe in ghost. You would hope that the person giving the tour would have some beliefs in the stories and paranormal experiences but instead we had a Welsh man who made it very clear he was educated and studied science. He came off as almost mocking the "ghost hunters" as he called them. I picked this tour because they use equipment that can be used to pick up energy and is what most ghost hunters use these days when hunting for spirits. He basically made them out to be toys he had to give out. He gave them out and never talked about them again and didn't engage with the people he have them too...only continued to make comments that he needed scientific data to back any of the equipment up. He was knowledgeable about Savannah history and stories, which was good. However, this was a ghost tour not a historical walking tour and after each story he would give his negative views on why it isn't possible. He also tried to peddle his friends books and plugged in his girlfriends upcoming book at the one stop we took for drinks and bathrooms at the 17hundred90 bar. I was extremely disappointed in this tour. The guide was arrogant and the tour was not exciting due to his constant comments about science and scientific evidence. I wouldn't recommend this tour if he is going to be your guide. It was a 2hr walking tour and more time was spent with him ditching the so called ghost stories and hunters then giving us actually stories and events. read more

Bridgette is a great speaker and very personable. We liked her a lot as a tour guide. With that said, Savannah is supposed to be the most haunted city in the US and I just didn't get that from this tour. I thought we'd be able to go into the cemetery and that would have been great. But nogo. She brought us to some cool spots and gave some history but I feel like we spent too much time playing w gadgets and trying to summon spirits than actually learning about the history and hearing haunted stories. This tour was highly recommended by Chuck, our free Savannah tour guide. But he gave more spooky info during his tour than we got on this one. All in all I'd pass on this tour. read more

SCAM!!!! Craig Cannon is a scammer. DO NOT BOOK ON RIVER STREET. They took our money and NEVER showed up for the tour. We still have not received our money back despite being told we would get a refund. He even blocked my brother's number after demanding our refund. My brother and I were visiting from out of town for his 20th birthday on September 6 and were looking to book a ghost tour. We were told that we could buy tickets at an orange booth on River St. So we walked and found a booth selling tickets, and there was a man named CRAIG CANNON running the booth. He told us that this ghost tour was the best in Savannah--the 10 pm tour--and that it was $45 per person. We asked if we could think about it and come back, but he said that he was about to close up, so he offered us a "special discount" for $35 each (keep reading to realize that this "discount" is not special at all). So my brother purchased the tickets from him and he gave us the address to meet at, 100 Bull St, and to get there by 9:55 pm for the tour to start at 10. It's 8:30 at this point so we have some time to kill. We get to the address promptly at 9:50, but we are a little sketched out because we don't see any people around. 9:55 passes, and 10 pm rolls around and we haven't seen any tour guide or any group of people that look like they're here for a tour. So I decide to call the phone number of the company. Interestingly I noticed that adult tickets only cost $29.95, so we weren't given a "special discount" after all, we were charged even more. A guy picks up on the other line and he apologizes that Craig had tried calling him but he didn't hear his phone ring because he's currently on his couch watching football. He explained that we were the only 2 that booked the tour, but that that usually doesn't matter because they still do tours only if one person books. I asked if we could get our money back and he said absolutely, and gave me Craig's number to call. I called Craig and he said to send him our cash app and he would send us the $70 back the next day at 12 pm. So we send him our cash app the next day, and hear nothing. After calling Craig every single day for a week, we still have not gotten our money back or heard back from him. In fact, our phone goes straight to voicemail, so he blocked us. Clearly he saw young tourists and decided to rip us off. I am completely disgusted at the lack of professionalism and shady business practices. Do NOT book with this company. SCAMMERS. read more

By far the BEST Ghost Tour i have ever been on!!!! Our tour guide had so much knowledge and guided us through with equipment. At one point my dowsing rods and my wife's EMF reader were going crazy at the Owens Thomas house. I highly recommend taking some pics because you just don't know what your camera will pick up like ours did. We cannot wait to come back to Savannah and take this tour again. read more

This was the worst tour I have ever been on of anything, anywhere, even in comparison to when uninteresting people say, "would you like a tour of my house?" I feel somewhat bad saying this because the tour guide was kind and enthusiastic, but for a cost of $30 and a wasted night in Savannah, I suppose I feel it is only fair that I share my opinion. Regarding the summoning and communication with spirits, in my group it consisted entirely of using the dousing rods for about 20 minutes. These are small metal rods with a ball bearing or something that makes them unstable when held at one end. It was kind of neat how they did seem to respond to questions, but if you declare that movement in one direction means "yes" and in another direction means "no," you could spend your time asking yes/no questions to a whole host of moving/ unstable objects, like the wind or a dog's tail. Like I said, kinda neat but not exactly convincing, engaging, or "spooky." This was probably the highlight of the tour. Savannah of course has a lot of ghost stories derived from grim historical events and the large number of burial grounds throughout the city. Our guide told some but in a way that seemed to sap these stories of whatever suspense or intrigue they have. I probably couldn't re-tell any of these stories today, because they were basically presented in outline (e.g. woman murders abuser in revenge, now haunts area where executed), but with all the fake enthusiasm as if what was being told was causing extreme fear. As another reviewer mentioned, you don't enter any haunted building or cemetery. It was mostly just walking around Savannah with someone pointing at random buildings saying, "That place has a room where people see ghosts/orbs/shadows." A fair amount of time was also spent on completely unrelated topics, like the filming of Forrest Gump and statues of James Oglethorpe. At one point, the guide insisted a swing was moving on its own because a ghost child was playing there. The swing was not moving, and even if it were, swings move all the time and the proximity to a cemetery is no reason to think it is a ghost rather than the normal laws of thermodynamics. This was uncomfortable and became more so when he insisted that the ghost children like people to play with them, so one of us should get on the neighboring swing and see that the other swing will move more. Well yes, I have been on a swing set before and it commonly occurs that if one swing is in motion, especially with the weight of an adult, the rest of the structure will also move. No one wanted to go swinging because we were all adults and it was like 11:30 at night. He insisted it was because we were scared so one person did it. The unoccupied swing remained largely motionless. As another reviewer mentioned, apparently there is a ghost who will smoke a lit cigarette, whatever that means. A ghost did not smoke a cigarette. We stood around on the sidewalk in Savannah at midnight watching a lit cigarette go out. I began to wonder what had become of my life. At the end, the guide insisted ghosts would follow us home unless we chanted some words along the lines of, "ghosts, don't follow me home." If it's that easy to talk to ghosts, and they are so pliant in following directions, I don't know why I paid $30 for some special ghost-talking tour. At this point we were just talking to the air. Our group had a Aries as our guide and what a time we had. It was an experience that made you emersed in a paranormal investigation. Its not just going with a tour guide and hearing ghost stories. The guide handed each of us investigator tools and we were asking questions and the Ghosts Talked BACK. We watched a ghost smoke a cigarette. We watched invisible children in front of the Owen-Thomas House and Slave Quarters tug on individual limbs of 2 bushes. It was something our guide had never seen before. It makes it more real instead of touristy. You become a part of the story by interacting with spirits. Hands down...the best ghost tour in Savannah. There are so many ghost tour options in Savannah. With no real preference we ended up booking tickets for this one and felt comforted throughout the day as locals told us it was their favorite. We met the group at 9:30pm for a 2 hour walking tour which admittedly was a surprise for us. We saw so many other ghost tours drive by on other nights, we assumed this would be one as well as the tourism office mentioned nothing about walking. We were a little disappointed at first since we had a couple of shopping bags from our day's adventures. Once we got going though we quickly forgot about the bags and had a great time. Our tour guide, clairvoyant since a young age, was very knowledgeable about the area and the spirits who reside there. She handed out pendulums and dowsing rods, showed us how to use them, and even talked to some of the ghosts through them along the tour. This is the only tour in Savannah where you'll get the opportunity to do this! Overall the tour was a great chance not only to get your fill of ghosts, but also to learn a lot about the history of Savannah and the people that lived there. read more

Whether you're a skeptic or true believer, this walking tour of Savannah is a great experience! Our tour guide was knowledgeable, funny and all around enjoyable. It was a pretty big group of about 40 people and we all took turns using the equipment (a sound box, dousing rods and energy meter) to test for paranormal activity around the historic district. I'm not a huge believer, but I had a great time and learned so much about the history of the city. The stop at the bar for a bathroom and drink break served to help the group have more fun together as well. read more

I absolutely love to do ghost tours whenever I travel. My wife and I stayed at an air bnb in downtown Savannah and we asked the person we were renting our air bnb from for some recommendations on activities to do and ghost tours. They highly recommended the Witching Hour to us. Our tour guide was Brigid and she was phenomenal with everything. I have never done a ghost tour where it was THIS interactive. There were so many parts to this tour where I truly didn't know if what was happening was real or not. The whole point of this tour is to try and interact with several ghosts around downtown Savannah. I believe at one point I was interacting with a young girl in a cemetery. It was so creepy!!! I am a skeptic, but there were a lot of things I witnessed where I can't explain how it happened. I truly think Brigid provides an awesome experience for those who are seeking a bit of a thrill in the paranormal category. I would 10/10 recommend to any of my friends, family, or anyone that is looking for a fun night in downtown Savannah. read more
