After two unsuccessful attempts to get a MRI on the tip of my middle finger in RADNET Toluca Lake and then Pasadena, my visit earlier today to Huntington Park Advanced Imaging went quite well. If you like to be treated decently and professionally and you live in the northern parts of Los Angeles, I recommend driving the extra distance to this facility so as to avoid the filthy facility in Toluca Lake and waiting for your session on a hard bench in a closet for ten minutes in the Pasadena location respectively. Furthermore, the technicians in the Toluca Lake and Pasadena facilities without exception, were numbskulls and baboons. The Huntington Park facility while older, was very clean and pleasant, all of the staff were cordial and professional, and most importantly this facility had an OPEN MRI.... essential for patient comfort for a fingertip scan. It took me THREE attempts to obtain proper acceptable imaging service from RADNET for this injury. Generally speaking, nobody needs to be jammed into a sarcophogas for a finger tip injury (and screw RADNET booking-central for trying to subject me to this). The OPEN MRI was comfortable and way more appropriate for my particular needs. RADNET needs to train the appointment line staff a whole hell of a lot better than they do. The booking staff is probably paid peanuts which is why they don't give a damn about vital details essential to the well being and ease of the patient. I should have been offerred an OPEN MRI for this injury in the first place. Thank you Huntington Park Advanced Imaging for finally coming through for me. ***Assuming my doctor receives my results in a timely manner (a major complaint of others about this facility), I will leave this review at 4 stars. If weeks and months pass before my surgeon gets the result, I will rewrite this review to focus on that delay because my injury will certainly become worse with time.

Going on a Sunday morning was the best choice since the traffic was much lighter. The check in was good and easy. I needed two MRIs of the hip and the knee. The tech explained how long each MRI was going to take which was a half hour for each. When I booked the appointment through Radnet, the rep said it would be 15-20 minutes per MRI. (Please advise your reps of the correct length for each procedure.) The tech started with my hip. The camera board under me was very uncomfortable which I didn't know about. After I was done, the tech asked me if I was ready to proceed with the knee. I said "yes," but my back was hurting. He put a wedge under my other knee to help the pain, but it did not help. Then he mentioned that he could take the camera pad out from under me. This helped immensely, and then we proceeded for another half hour. I'm glad it's over with, but I would have appreciated more explanation about the camera board. Also, the booking rep should give the exact length of time for each MRI.

They have people waiting there for 3hrs before they're ever taken in. You need to go check with front desk to see what's the hold up. This is not patient care at all. This place needs good management to take over. Get a new caring team to come clean this place up. Unbelievable that management allows this type of service to be given to our Hispanic community. Shame on this locations management and employees. I would close this place down in a heart beat. I wish we could give no stars!!

I have to separate this review into a timeline it seems…read more Before: Gave them a call to make an appointment for an echocardiogram and a chest x-ray. Got a 2:00 slot on a wednesday, and the x-rays are apparently walk in on a first-come, first-serve basis. I write down directions and I am told to be there at least 10 minutes before. Cool. Very quick, no long wait time, lady on the phone was nice but definitely wanted to hang up quick. During: I arrive at 1:15p.m. to the directions I was given (Apparently they have 2 locations on the same street, a block apart). I park and put 2 hours worth of coins in the meter (I knew they had a rep of taking long, according to the receptionist who had called). I walk over and low-and-behold a sign on the door reads, "X-rays at Zoe location" (I was on the Saturn St. location). Can you let a sista know next time?A little irritated and too lazy to walk (it was super hot and my neck and back were killing me) I leave my awesome and paid-for parking spot and head to the other location. I walk in and all the receptionists are looking down not at all greeting any of the people who are there or are walking in. I sign in, and wait about 20 minutes. I get called and I'm like "Yay!" Only to be sent to their second waiting room in the back. Here I check in with them and wait another 30 minutes. No biggie, I took time off specifically for this, no rush on my behalf. Problem was there was at least 6 people waiting with me, in a hallway filled with chairs (not really considered a waiting room). I also noticed that there were three receptionists all whom seem to be very preoccupied: one looking at a movie on her phone while "working," the other was watching the novella on the tv which was meant for the people in the waiting area, and the last was looking at music videos. Hey I don't mind you doing these things while working, but damn out in the open all willy-nilly like that. That's like telling these folks waiting "F, you. I can care less" Did I fail to mention that everyone here seemed to speak to everyone as if they were zombies. Their tone was so monotone, maybe I caught them on a bad day? The only time I heard a lady with a slight interest in her tone was when she was trying to tell a patient that she never signed in. The patient and her argued for a couple of minutes, only to find out that the patient had signed in, they just overlooked her. But not until they told her it was her fault and they could only re-schedule here at a time that was inconvenient for the patient. Their f*$# up, but she has to fix and arrange a time that works for them? Ummm no. Okay finally I get called by a gentleman for my chest x-ray. Monotone once again, it seemed like no one had ever asked him how his day was going, because that cheered him up a bit. I get my x-ray done and once again am signaled to sit in the hallway. 15 minutes later a women comes up to the hallway reception area and I overhear my name. I say, "yes that's me" She informs me that my referral for the echocardiogram had an error, apparently one of the codes was off. She had called my insurance office to fax a new one and asked if I wouldn't mind waiting. I said "sure, no problem." It's close to 3:45 at this point. I wait, and wait, and wait, 4:00 rolls around and I heard nothing. No check-ins, no "oh we're still waiting." I finally get the courage to ask (I hate to bug, or complain) and she informs me that they probably won't send it until after they closed the office that day. Ummmmmmmmm okay so you had me wait so I could be told it would not be sent until later tonight. Geez, thanks! She says she'll call me when she gets it. And I leave. After: Still have not received a call back from this lady. And unfortunately none of these folks had nametags. Suggestion: Train your staff on having pleasant customer service. Or treat them better, because they seem unhappy. Your services aren't cheap, so the least you can do is treat people decently. People thought I worked there due to my work attire (I had just gotten out of work) and were asking me questions!

Girls were nice and gentle. This was a ways out for me to get to. But I'd do it again with this quality service. Definitely better than waiting hours in crowded places.

On 07/27/26 I brought my one year-old to get blood work done, and it was the worst experience ever…read more There was only one worker it was a short, Hispanic lady a little on the heavier side, she wasn't very friendly at all.. She had me sit with my baby and she told me to hold my babies arm straight while she attempted to take blood out, she went in with the needle and nothing came out, so then she started what they call "fishing" for a vein and my baby started crying in pain, it didn't seem right for her to be fishing for veins on a one year-old.. It was very painful by the way that my baby was crying. She wanted to poke his other arm, and I declined and walked out of there.! I really wanted to call and speak to someone about her horrible technique.. but she was the only one in office. Life has been so busy lately so now that I had the time I'm writing to share my experience.! I wish I could've spoken to someone, but I will definitely be trying to get in contact with someone higher up about this experience. I don't think a lady should be fishing in a babies arm for veins if she can't find any right away.
