So happy I found Hollywood Preschool. I have been in search of a daycare where I feel comfortable…read moreleaving my baby and this daycare has eased every concern. The facility is clean and the staff is so nice. As I am Hispanic, I love that the women taking care of the infants are all Hispanic (personal preference). I love that they immediately told me all of the things they would need to care for him and that everything should be labeled. The fact that they need several changes of clothes, bibs, sheets, towels to keep him clean is a huge comfort for me. The fact that they requested detailed info about my son and what helps soothe/ease him etc is amazing. As a mom a big concern for me is leaving my baby with a stranger all day that doesn't know what he likes/dislikes. Also the fact that they have an app to communicate and send photos/updates throughout the day is so so great. They also include formula/baby food with is a huge plus. I honestly couldn't be happier. If you need a place for your kids and the location works for you I definitely recommend you check them out. (These were the only pictures I was able to take since I wasn't going to snap pictures with the kids in them. But the same way you see the pics from the business owner is how the place looked. So clean and nice.

They mostly speak in Spanish, which is a plus for me because I want my daughter to be bilingual. All teachers are respectful of parents and students. Ms. Veronica, the director is very passionate and talented at what she does. I am so pleased to have such a caring preschool in the community.

Infant room: we loved the infant room and the teachers that were there at the time. They were extremely caring and helpful. We received a daily report card of all of the things she did. 1-2 our daughter loved the teachers in the year and 2 year room. She thrived and even learned a little Spanish. The teachers worked with us to potty train her. Ms Brenda was very loving and caring. 3-4 they really started teaching them and preparing them for VPK. The had some nice additional things we were able to add on. Our daughter loved the music class and the cooking class. The teacher, Ms Jita (bad spelling of her name)who taught both was so amazing. During our tenure the Director changed. Both Ms Jade and Ms Colleen (the new director) were very good and along with the assist Director (Ms Julie) they made our experience there a good one. We went to visit last year and to our happiness and surprise almost everyone that was there when our daughter was, still worked there. That is rare for this business. The only reason we left was my job changed and I moved our daughter closer to home and also wanted her to make some new friends she'd be going to kindergarten with.

I recently had a baby girl and even though we moved away from this location I knew I wanted her to go here. Ms. Julie is still there and is now the director of the school along with Ms. Bibi and they are both amazing! They will go above and beyond for my family and I couldn't be more thankful. The staff is very friendly and I have a piece of mind knowing my child is in good hands. Definitely worth the drive because I know I'm getting quality service care!

We know that he is safe and in the care of educators that want nothing but the best for him. Lili, Yoli, and the entire Happy Crayons staff have been amazing and have had a huge impact on our son's growth. Time has flown by, and our son will now move on to kindergarten, but Haply Crayons will have a special place in our lives. We consider everyone at Happy Crayons family and thank them immensely for the love and support they have blessed our son with.

Happy Crayons provided EXCELLENT care for our son and genuinely cared for him. If I had any doubts, they were dispelled b/c my son loved his teachers. He learned the alphabet, learned his colors and to count (in Spanish as well) BEFORE joining the VPK program. My son speaks some Spanish and understands when it's spoken to him. The teachers are certified, patient and EVERYONE, owners included, were all kind. Ms. Maria worked w/ us for months potty training. I have an associate w/ 2 small kids attending a religious school that was asked to keep her children home until they were potty trained. Apparently, that's a standard request. I don't know what we would have done if Happy Crayons requested the same! They open at 7:30 a.m., which helps w/ our work schedule and close at 6:30 p.m. They provide a light breakfast and a healthy lunch.... no hamburgers, hot dogs or french fries, but chicken, rice, fruits and vegetables. If you have any issues, they will work w/ you. I'm going to miss them now that our son is moving on to Kindergarten.

If you think your child will be safe at this school THINK AGAIN. This BY FAR is the worst care…read morefacility my son has ever attended. Several times my son has come home with missing socks, bruises and scratches, a bust lip and it was never explained no one ever has a clue as to what goes on among the children. I've caught them (teachers, and the admin staff) several times talking negatively about students, parents, and enticing awkward social situations between children for their own entertainment which I assumed were isolated situations. Its understandable that ( untrained ) kids get rough especially when sharing toys but this is another story. I get a call ( I didn't get a call the first time my son burst his lip) that my son burst his lip at school. It's explained to me that another child "pushed" my son and he fell and busted his lip (same story as the first time). They tell me that the child that pushed him is "special needs" and they are going to talk to the parents. I go to the school to see my son and see no signs of a burst lip, what I see instead is my son's face looking like it was mauled by a wild animal with scratches deep and shallow all over his face, on both his cheeks, across his nose and in the cavities of his eyes as if someone had attacked him steadily and repeatedly. I ask every single teacher in the school if they were there and if they knew what happened. ONLY ONE "teacher" admitted to being there and she tells me that she has no idea what happened she just saw my son sitting by himself in a corner alone looking upset with his head down so she went over to him and noticed that he had blood on his shirt. MY SON ENDURED A BRUTAL ATTACK AND WAS LEFT TO SIT THERE AND BLEED ALL DOWN HIS SHIRT (see picture) ALONE UNTIL SOMEONE NOTICED HIM. I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED BY THE FACILITY AND I WILL BE REPORTING THEM TO EVERY AGENCY POSSIBLE.

No one knew where or how it happened. Later that night I noticed bruises on his stomach, legs and arms which is normal for a boy so I decided to see how the following week played out before changing him. Again his first day back this week and he comes home with nail marks on his arm and no one at the school knows who or when that happened. Today as I go to take my son a bath he has a bite mark on his arm which I didn't see because I sent him to school in a long sleeve shirt to avoid more possible nail marks. Luckily I found him a new school and he will no longer be attending. These kids are clearly not being watched which is these teachers only job in the hours I pay for my son to be in their care. Please take your kid elsewhere. I do appreciate the two girls in the front office. One was nice enough to try and console my son and the other tried rewinding the cameras to try and see what happened. But as my son would be in the care of the teachers who didn't seem too concerned when I showed my sons injuries I refuse to let him stay in this school.
