So happy I found Hollywood Preschool. I have been in search of a daycare where I feel comfortable…read moreleaving my baby and this daycare has eased every concern. The facility is clean and the staff is so nice. As I am Hispanic, I love that the women taking care of the infants are all Hispanic (personal preference). I love that they immediately told me all of the things they would need to care for him and that everything should be labeled. The fact that they need several changes of clothes, bibs, sheets, towels to keep him clean is a huge comfort for me. The fact that they requested detailed info about my son and what helps soothe/ease him etc is amazing. As a mom a big concern for me is leaving my baby with a stranger all day that doesn't know what he likes/dislikes. Also the fact that they have an app to communicate and send photos/updates throughout the day is so so great. They also include formula/baby food with is a huge plus. I honestly couldn't be happier. If you need a place for your kids and the location works for you I definitely recommend you check them out. (These were the only pictures I was able to take since I wasn't going to snap pictures with the kids in them. But the same way you see the pics from the business owner is how the place looked. So clean and nice.

Sunshine State Academy has been a wonderful and supportive learning environment for my child. The…read moreschool truly values academic growth, kindness, and strong communication with families. The staff is caring, organized, and always willing to help, which creates a positive and welcoming atmosphere for students. A special thank-you goes to the amazing 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Kelly. She is an outstanding educator who is patient, encouraging, and deeply dedicated to her students' success. Mrs. Kelly explains lessons clearly, challenges students to do their best, and makes learning engaging and meaningful. She also communicates well with parents and genuinely cares about each child's progress--academically and emotionally. Thanks to Mrs. Kelly's guidance and support, my child has grown more confident, responsible, and motivated to learn. We are very grateful to be part of Sunshine State Academy and highly recommend both the school and Mrs. Kelly to any family looking for a strong and nurturing educational experience.

Since we found this place, we fell in love and we were not wrong for choosing it! It's a small school which allows the teachers to be more attentive with each kid. Teachers are very sweet, caring and professional. My daughter loves to go there everyday not only because she is happy seeing her friends and her first best friend in life **you know who you are =) ** but also all the teachers and all the new activities for the day. We're amazed to see all the things she has learned in the last few years from letters to numbers, colors, songs, respecting her friends, teachers, etc. Before, during, and after the pandemic they took all the necessary precautions to make sure the kids will be safe and healthy. Unfortunately, we're moving out of state and my daughter will be there until the end of this month. We're really sad about it but we're also blessed and lucky that her schooling journey started in this place. Now she can continue her education in another school with her amazing experience from Little Ones. If you're looking for a safe, educational and caring school for your kids, you're in the right place! We highly recommend Little Ones in the Meadows! Thank you to ALL the teachers and Irene for your amazing work and dedication! We will miss you!

Healthy fresh lunches and they even provide a menu every month, and their tuition is very well priced. They have consistent fun events which gives me the opportunity to have more activities with my son as well as meeting the other parents and his classmates (which is so important!); movie nights, creative after school evening events, the cutest children's performances, holiday parties, and more. Safe environment with easy feedback and communication with staff. Right next to local parks within walking distance, I often immediately meetup with other parents of his classmates at pick up time, we can just walk to Jefferson Park in the Hollywood Lakes or Arts Park. My son was speech delayed until 4 years old and after being in this school for 2 weeks he was coming home speaking in sentences, and months later everyone was surprised he had ever even received a speech delay diagnosis...true story. Another counselor told me daughter " too bad you aren't doing sports 5 days a week so I wouldn't have to see you." Seriously, these people have no clue how to effectively supervise children. Forget letting the nicer staff help your kids with homework, as they can barely read English or help with 1st grade math. As a parent, there's nothing more painful than realizing that the place you trusted to care for and…read morenurture your child actually harmed her. My daughter attended Open Valleys Academy when she was just a toddler, and to this day--now 8 years old--she still talks about the trauma she experienced there. One of the most upsetting incidents involved a teacher named Luz, who was aggressive and rough with the children. My daughter was picked up by the ear--an absolutely unacceptable and abusive act. When I brought this to the attention of the principal, Cristina, she acted as if it was just a "misunderstanding" and brushed it off. There was no accountability, no investigation, no concern. Just excuses. My daughter cried almost every morning before going to that place, and at the time, I didn't understand why. I thought it was normal separation anxiety. I had no idea she was enduring such mistreatment. One day, at only 3 years old, she tried repeatedly to ask the teacher to let her use the restroom. The teacher ignored her, too "busy" to care. My daughter ended up wetting herself. Instead of compassion or understanding, the teacher humiliated her--putting a diaper on her and placing her in the baby room for the rest of the day. That act alone traumatized her. Open Valleys Academy failed my child in the most fundamental way. They did not protect her. They did not care for her. They silenced and ignored her. And the administration, especially Cristina, chose to look the other way rather than confront the cruelty happening under their own roof. No child should have to go through what my daughter went through. No parent should have to live with the guilt of unknowingly sending their child into a harmful environment. Please--if you're considering this school, look deeper. Listen to your child. Trust your gut. I wish I had.
