I had the full body scan and found that there was a cyst on my ovary, I'm 63 and have been post menopausal for 10 years. I took the scan to my Gynecologist and She did a ultrasound which showed the cyst and we found out that my uterine lining had also grown in thickness and that could potentially cause Cancer. They gave me the name of a GYN-ONCOLOGIST and he agreed that it wasn't good, so I had a Full Hysterectomy and thank God, no No Cancer was Found", I'm so glad that I had those scans. read more

I did the free heart scan at the Jupiter, FL location. GREAT experience with Patient Advocate Director Scott Abel. Front desk staff were also terrific Heart scan was clear. Sent the results off to my Primary Care Physician for record keeping. My Primary was impressed. I intend to get my heart scanned annually at Life Imaging. I am in sales so of course I expected an up sell. Would have been disappointed if they didn't try to up sell me. That's how sales works. I simply said no thank you at this time and that was that. Never even went in! I called to get the price of a full body cancer screening. All I got was a super strong sales pitch to come in for a free heart scan and that then I could "discuss" the cancer screening. I declined. Within an hour I received 5 calls from life imaging sales people wanting to schedule a free heart scan! Pushy, annoying and totally unprofessional! I will NEVER use this company. read more

It's basically bait and switch. They offer you a free heart scan and then try and sell you a $$2000 full body scan. Russ from the monsters advertises this free scan on his morning show but doesn't inform you about the $2000 scan that they will push hard. I believe he should divulge that bit of information before he tells his listeners they should go out and inquire about this procedure. Don't get me wrong I received my free scan but did not due the $2000 full body scan. The people there were very nice but they will push hard to get you to get the $2000 scan. Even to go as far as to get you to sign up for credit to get it done. Personally I feel they pray on people's emotions and a bite of scare tactics to get you to do it. If I were you I would go but would inform them you only want the free scan. Unless they convince you, you should get it done for whatever reason. read more

I went in for the advertised free heart scan--which turned out to be just a calcium score. What followed was a high-pressure sales pitch for $7,400 worth of full body scans for me and my wife. When I declined, I was asked, "Don't you care about your health and prevention?" I responded honestly: "I don't care "That's when the salesman--yes, wearing scrubs--turned to my wife and brought up a 23-year-old cancer patient you helped out and my wife's family history to push the fear angle. That was my cue to walk out. I told my wife she could make her own decision, but if she stayed, she'd be paying with her own money. She did--$1,000 for a scan. She was very pleased with their services. And asked her if I would remove my negative review off Google. Really ! To the company: How dare you exploit fear to sell overpriced medical services. My husband and I visited this location for free heart scan. Booking experience was an easy and very accommodating one. Before given heart scan, we had a 30 min office consultation with Mr Potok and Mr Luis, and discussed different services and plans Life Imaging offers. Based on our interest we decided to go forward with cancer body scan and added colonography in the package. The staff was very professional, pleasant and attentive , the atmosphere very soothing (apart from maybe TV in entrance room being way too loud). We were very impressed by technicians performing the body scan and especially colonoscopy, which was a first for us. And now I'm on my second surgery for scent replacement. After I knew nothing, they did not go over anything with me. In the office. Have not been here myself but I am going to leave a review anyway. You see they saved my brother's life. He went there for a free heart scan heard on radio. Made the appointment went and they did the scan and told him he needed to go to the emergency room NOW. Well he decided to drive back to Ocala to go to the ER. Well long story short 3 Days later they did a quadruple bypass with one almost complete closed off. So I went to thank whoever started the free program or even if it is a timeshare sales tactic for more money. The program saved my 60 year old brother. We went to the Jupiter location to have the heart scan. Got the body scan also.. Thank God I did. It showed a spot on my kidney. Took the results to my primary Dr. She sent me for a CT scan. That scan sent me for a MRI. Then to a urologist then to a surgeon. It shows I had kidney cancer. I had no symptoms not feeling bad or anything. Had to have my whole kidney removed. Two week post op all is good. They got everything. The cancer was contained to the kidney. If it wasn't for the body scan don't know when I would have found out. Might have been too late. Our son had one a few years back and It showed thyroid cancer. His was caught in time also thank god. These body scans are life savers. If you can get on. I actually read the reviews the day of my appointment. I almost chose not to go but decided that would not be kind to do- regardless of the bad reviews. I was scheduled for the free heart scan. I filled out my paperwork. I did get brought into a room to go over "how to read" my results when I got them. Which I loved that it was explained. He did offer the other option of full cancer screening. That would be half off price if I did then. But that's a large purchase 1500. However to someone else, this may not be. Do I wish they'd given me more time to think about it & look into the option of it prior to my testing "yes". Was I pressured, never, was anyone ever unkind, heck no. Do I think what they are doing is wrong, no. I completely recommend & will be looking into doing the cancer scan. read more

Based on the only other 2 reviews, I almost cancelled our appointment today. But we decided to go anyways. I completely disagree with both reviews. We sat first with someone who described the heart scan in depth, and then followed up by stating (without any pressure whatsoever) they also offer a full body scan for $995. Not thousands as stated in another review. It wasn't a bad price for peace of mind but we figured we'd just stick with the free heart scans. The scans only took about 5 min each. Very professional all the way through. We were there a total time of about 45 minutes, from check-in (with a few forms to complete), the time with someone to go over things and both scans. We will have results in about 3 days. Definitely worth the time spent for 2 free heart scans. Typically they cost about $100 each. So saving $200 for 45 minutes of JT time is definitely worth it. read more

After telling the man I would not give him the phone numbers and names of my friends and my wife, the FREE heart scan went from free to $89. The objective of this company is to collect as much information about your medical and personal history and attempt to convince you that paying an up charge for additional scans Is worth it. The man was extremely defensive when I told him that I would not provide him with any information and that all I wanted was the alleged "free scan" do your research people things are not always how they appear. Be cautious when it comes to giving complete strangers your private medical information. This company is a scam the sales approach is very similar to a time share sales pitch. This business is not really a health facility. Even though the sales representatives wear hospital scrubs? You will quickly realize that when you are taken into a room and they try to sell You expensive full body scans. I looked online and found that you can get calcium Test scores for under a $100. Maybe you can even get your doctor to refer you one and pay nothing. I definitely want to speak to my doctor first before purchasing any full body scans and exposing myself to any radiation. If I had to do it all over again. I would have just paid for the heart scan myself And avoided the sales pitch. They will use some scare tactics to make You feel you must buy these scans. read more

I should have reviewed Michael S's review BEFORE (see below) I went there today. When I left the facility, I told my wife I had just experienced another Timeshare pitch. I asked if there was an upsell before the pitch. I was assured there was not an upsell. Big Lie! It took 45 minutes after my "appointment" time before they started my one-on-one sales pitch. After I said no interest in the $7K scan package, they came up with some less expensive options. Still beyond my affordability. They dropped price again and then asked what I could afford. My response was 'nothing'. The guy finally wrapped it up and sent me to the scanning room. I waited another 20 minutes and nobody came in to greet me or explain when my scan would start. I finally walked out without getting a "free" scan. When I set up appointment, they said it would take only an hour. 110 minutes later, I decided not to waste any more time. I like the scan concept, but definitely not worth the "free" $600 complementary scan. I smell a rat in their story as to why they exist....... read more
