Jerrod has also been extremely helpful and friendly whenever I've needed anything. The gym itself is very clean, well-maintained, and never feels overcrowded, which I really appreciate. Once you pull in, you take your standard parking garage ticket which you validate inside the gym for free parking. Once inside the garage, there are quite a few floors you have to drive around to. I usually go all the way up and then come back down to park right across from the opening. If you can't grab a spot near the door, you can take the steps or the elevator to get to the correct floor. Once inside, you can scan the mobile app and proceed on your merry way to start your work out. One thing to note is that there will likely not be any cleaning spray to grab on your way in and you will have to hope there are some at the top of the stairs on the table. Speaking of the steps, there are three flights of stairs to conquer before you get to the second floor. Beware coming back down after leg day. The second floor is where all the machines are whereas the first floor is all cardio machines. There are also some treadmills and elliptical machines upstairs as well. There is an elevator that can bring you up and down if you absolutely hate the stairs as much as I do. The Towson location does have a few set backs which include: Cleanliness- it's not the worst but certainly could be cleaned much better. The paper towel dispensers are often empty along with the shortage of cleaning spray bottles. Culture: people tend not to rerack their weights here and dumbbells and barbells are pretty hard to find. Covid safety: mask are not required at this location at this time and most people are not wearing them. If this is bothersome for you, you may want to go to the ones in the city where mask are still required.

Owners Donna and Laura have really put together a beautiful, superbly equipped, highly motivational and supportive CrossFit box; just walking in one can sense the level of dedication and commitment they have to the CrossFit philosophy. Their 31 years of combined experience is immediately apparent, not only as Level-1 certified coaches, but also in the areas of conditioning and post rehab exercise - a nice combination, in that such a thorough understanding of body dynamics, mobility, repair, etc. really offers the CrossFitter a level of confidence they may not get elsewhere. I had the pleasure of working with coaches Susan and Geoffrey, and I felt completely safe with both, from their excellent understanding and breakdown of lifting mechanics before WOD's, through their watchful eye during. The handles turn giving you a real feel of riding the bike. One of the best bikes I have seen in the gym. They lose a star for their outdated locker room. Small showers and the access to the sauna is pretty far outside the shower near the swimming pool. They don't provide towels. Luckily my husband had an extra towel in his gym bag.
