So this morning my pup woke up with a really bad limp. She's limped in the past but I could not get…read moreher to do it when I would take her to the vet. This morning I filmed her limp as I knew that by the time she got there it might be gone. I called middendorf animal hospital and they got me in right away. The staff and doctor here are not like any I've experienced at a vet so far. Not to say the others were bad. This was just different. They were kind and treated Lady like she was one of their own. They took a LOT of time going over many questions I had about things not even related to the injury. Turns out her limp is the result of a old injury. I was given some meds to help her out and was on my way. lady liked the staff here so much that when they left the room she whimpered and stared st the door. Not once did I feel like I was a burden or that my pet wasn't "liked". A complaint I often hear about vets. This is our new vet for sure. Dr Middendorf loves animals. That's for sure. I'm very happy I found this place

ATTENTION!!! Faithful Friends Pet Memory Center LLC( Owners: Brian and Lorie Clary) 10073 Tayman…read moreDr. Union, Ky 41091 commented on my review and because they lied about everything, I am responding to address their lies. Their lies only confirmed my suspicions that something did happen to my precious Oreo.I want to tell others what really happened to my Beloved Oreo. Last year, I pleaded for days asking for proper documentation following Oreo's passing and they could not provide that. Now, they claim they can provide the documentation, but if they can provide the documentation now...why couldn't they before? My review was warning others regarding the horror of the. "Bumbling" and "Fumbling" incompetence of Faithful Friends Pet Memory Center LLC (owners : Brian and Lorie Clary), as well as Middendorf Animal Hospital (Brittany Jones and Jim Middendorf) in their mishandling and losing of my Beloved Oreo. This is what really happened...I knew something was wrong when: 1. I pleaded with Faithful Friends to give me a receipt to prove they picked up Oreo( I wanted a date). Also a receipt showing a date proving that she was cremated. I kept asking...they kept refusing. Kim, from Faithful Friends that commented on my review was the person that kept refusing to give me a receipt proving they had picked up Oreo and proving that she was cremated. She also blocked me from talking to anyone else. She, the other staff, as well as Middendorf didn't know where Oreo was or even who the driver, who was supposed to pick up Oreo. 2. I also knew something was wrong when their dates didn't match Middendorf's dates until they finally got together and picked a date that worked for them. 3. Oreo was referred to as a "Male"...my precious Oreo is a FEMALE. 4.Brittany, Jim, Brian and Lorie and staff didn't even have compassion for my Beloved Oreo to return my calls. I will be reporting them to Animal Cruelty Organizations and the Ky. Board of Veterinary Examiner. I am devastated that I still don't know what happened to my Beloved Oreo or where she is. If only I had walked back in that room and taken my precious Oreo home instead of leaving her with these people. I will never get over this. Oreo did not have a voice, so I am being the voice for my Beloved Oreo.

A good vet is hard to find. You never really want to have to go to the vet either, mainly because…read moreit means a fur baby is in some sort of distress, so it's not exactly a place you look forward or enjoy going to. We've been to a couple animal clinics in the NKY area, but had been disappointed in the office hours/"bedside manner" of some of the other vets around. Fortunately Dr. Golatsky and the wonderful staff at Edgewood Animal Clinic have taken really great care of both us and our pets when we needed them. You can tell Dr. Golatsky really loves animals and what she does, even when someone's cat is growling at her unmercifully (not my cat, of course). The staff is always so sweet and friendly, they have extended hours several days a week, and their prices are usually pretty good. Sometimes the wait to be seen can be long, but that's only because the doctor takes her time with each patient and doesn't hurry, and the only thing keeping me from giving them a full five star rating. They've opened up a new location (further down Dixie Highway, next to the Erlanger Kroger) and it is a massive improvement in terms of space and parking compared to their previous spot. As much as my cat dislikes going to see her, he'll be going to see Dr. Golatsky & Co. from here on out!

I called to make an appointment for my two dogs today. I had been taking my dogs to this clinic for…read morea few years now with no issues, aside from the attitude of some of the office staff. The person who answered the phone must have thought that she was the veterinarian. I inquired as to why a heart worm test was needed annually if my dogs were on heart worm medicine all year. She must have taken this question very personal because she became very condescending. And said its our policy and its very necessary then asked how I could be giving them their heart worm medicine because when my dogs were seen last year there was none prescribed by her office. I said (having not checked the medicine) I replied "Well they've been taking it and we will keep getting it from wherever we are getting it from." Then she tried to educate me about how dangerous it was to obtain medicine from third parties and continued to talk down to me as if I am stupid. And I said well I think I know how to care for my dogs and make sure they have what they need. I am a nurse so no worries. She then said in a sarcastic tone, "Oh you're a nurse so you know what your doing, oh ok." As for the medicine I would never do anything illegal I am a nurse. I just wasn't sure where my partner had picked up the meds from because I didn't take them to their last appointment and just simply wasn't sure. But we certainly make sure they get their medicine. I felt like it was a valid question why test for something that they are taking preventative medicine for to begin with. I made an appointment with another veterinarian and called her back to let her know and told her that her lack of professionalism and sarcastic and condescending remarks were simply unacceptable. She then proceeded to tell me that I was sarcastic as well which she is right. I reminded her that I am the customer not the so called professional. I said I am the customer I am allowed to be sarcastic. To which she replied "OHHH your the customer, you're allowed to be sarcastic." And I said yes exactly "You need me, I don't need you." I then requested to speak to her supervisor only to be put on hold for 5 minutes and she came back with "My supervisor is too busy to speak with you, she will have to call you back." I asked for her supervisors name and she said. "Uh The Doctor is my supervisor." I just checked the label and in fact I have the prescription in hand from her office. The fact that her incompetence of not knowing that her office had in fact prescribed and filled the heartworm medicine and accuse me of not giving them that medicine proves to me that my animals do not need to be seen by such unprofessional and disrespectful staff. I told the new Veterinarians office that my dogs would need a refill of their heartworm medicine and a heartworm test. And to my surprise without mentioning it she replied, as long as you are giving them their heartworm meds there is no need to test for heartworms. The Doctor doesn't feel it is necessary. How Ironic. I would recommend this Veterinarian to others, if your animal is in urgent need and they are the last place on earth.
