Today, 3/26/2026 my brother in law and sister came for an appointment…read more When they called to make the appointment it was stated that he had several broken teeth and it was an emergency type situation. Upon arrival and check in - the receptionist was EXTREMELY rude. The receptionist LOUDLY and ignorantly says - "were you in a fight?" When they said no. She then states "well me and my coworker were talking about it and couldn't figure out how you had so many broken teeth and I was gonna send you to Metro" Continuing with check in. She asks about insurance and then asked me where my sister worked. And during check in, the receptionist picked up the phone. Rudely ignoring my sister and BIL and has a conversation with whoever was on the phone. They were so disgusted by her lack of professionalism and how embarrassed she made them feel for trying to get help. They left immediately. 1) it is not everyone in the entire offices business what they have going on. People in the waiting room were even distracted looking and listening to the conversation. 2) it's none of that receptionist OR HER COWORKERS business why the teeth are in the condition they are in. Several people have teeth issues and lack of insurance or money cause it to not be fixed. People also have fear of dentists and put off work that is needed. 3) why is the receptionist. Who schedules appointments. Talking about my families private health information ? Publicly and LOUDLY... I guess it's okay for your employees to talk badly about the patients that schedule appointments. That woman acted like a little high school girl gossiping. People like that receptionist are why so many avoid taking care of their teeth. The shame and embarrassment that woman instilled was ignorant That receptionist is IGNORANT and should not be working with the public. It took my family awhile to get my BIL to go to the dentist. Because he had anxiety about being treated EXACTLY how your business decided to treat him today. This woman working for you is despicable and pathetic. Putting patients down... I am sure this is not the first person she has done something like this to. I myself have struggled with dental issues majority of my life. I went into another business with my teeth problems. Several broken and cracked teeth and a lot of other problems. And from the check in to the final work. Not a single person made me feel embarrassed about the condition. They were just happy that I was able to bring myself in to get things started and fixed. As the company should. There needs to be something done about that receptionist. She should not be working in a dental office acting that way. It's embarrassing for your practice. And I will make sure to share on every social media platform not to schedule at this place because that woman.

WARNING: AVOID ASPEN DENTAL AT ALL COSTS -- INCOMPETENT, RUDE, AND COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!…read more Aspen Dental is an absolute disgrace. This company should NOT be in business. The people who work here are rude, careless, and totally incompetent. They do not care about patients at all, especially not the ones in pain. Here's what happened: I called with my dental insurance provider on the line (a 3-way call) to verify that my daughter's insurance was accepted at this Aspen Dental location. They confirmed it. So I scheduled an appointment a month in advance. A week before the appointment, they randomly called asking for the insurance info again -- weird, but I gave it. THEN, the night before the appointment, I get a call from a nasty, unprofessional woman saying they don't accept the insurance after all. So after multiple documented calls, including one with the insurance company on the phone, they drop this on us less than 24 hours before the appointment -- with ZERO apology or accountability. Meanwhile, my daughter has been waiting in pain and with missing front teeth for a month thinking she had an appointment coming up. Now we're back to square one and likely have to wait another month for someone who actually cares. There is no excuse for this. None. This company is a JOKE. They wasted our time, caused emotional stress, and couldn't care less. Everyone we spoke to acted like it was no big deal. It IS a big deal when you're treating people like garbage. DO NOT go to Aspen Dental. Not this location. Not any location. They will lie to you, waste your time, and leave you hanging. Go literally anywhere else.

Not only that, but they presented me with alternative options, and insurance care. I chose to pay out of pocket, and they were still just as great. As I am in sales, (and health insurance) isn't really Included? This is definitely somewhere I will call before choosing to call another place that makes you feel like an inconvenience...

Had I wanted it done sooner, they actually had an appointment opening within a week as well. Day of the procedure everything went fine. Everyone was really nice and since I didn't have to be put to sleep, the doctor and his two surgical assistants communicated to me throughout the duration of the procedure as to what was going on. I was sent home with a soft toothbrush, Sockit gel wound dressing and clear instructions on icing, care, etc. I was also given a pain prescription, but ended up not needing it. Afterwards I was able to get an appointment on the same day I called when I was experiencing after surgery pain. Everyone in the office was really nice and friendly and genuinely seemed caring and concerned about how I felt. I never felt rushed or an inconvenience. The two surgical assistants were super friendly and approachable and were willing to answer lots of questions. They were both genuine conversationalists which worked wonders for getting your mind off why you were there. Dr Picard himself was very personable and willing to answer any questions as well. He came off as very knowledgeable and confident which made trusting him to do what was needed easy. If I ever have any oral concerns in the future, I will definitely keep this friendly practice in mind.

As an adult who has been avoiding this for years, this could have been traumatic. Dr. Picard and his extremely helpful staff made me feel at ease and explained things in detail so I could make the best decisions about my care. I ended up going with just a local anesthesia and it was more than fine. They did everything you'd expect from an oral surgeon's office, sending me home with a bag of gauze, instructions, when to call, etc as well as a new soft toothbrush. The receptionist even called me a few hours after I got home just to see how I was holding up. Classy and appreciated! The address is on Madison, but it's actually best to park behind the building (between Morrison and Carabel) and enter that way.
