Working with Natalie may be the highlight of my year. Minimal stress, great program for securely uploading documents, efficiency, great communication. She even honored my request to finish taxes by April 10th and had them completed by the 8th. This may be the first tax season in which I didn't feel overwhelmed or stressed. Natalie provided stellar customer service. I have never been more happy to pay a bill of service. Worth every penny! Thank you Natalie and DarkHorse for great service!

I walked in owing a back tax of $9,100.00, from a year that I wasn't involved with the CPA office.. In her own time, off of the schedule, I received several calls and emails detailing every step of the tax year and previous tax debts. By the time it was all over with, not only was my $9,100.00 cleared and no longer owed, the IRS owed me roughly $1,000.00 !!!!!! Lets see HR Block do something like that!! I can't say enough good things. Every year is good but this year was an epic display of professionalism and true hard work.. Yevon is a total rock star. I can only imagine the rest of the office is as efficient and hard working.

Yvonne responded quickly, and provided us with very helpful information that was necessary to file his taxes accurately. Yvonne was kind and said that while she'd like to prepare his taxes, the fee probably wouldn't justify the effort since he had already completed 90% of the work himself and all he needed to know was if he is allowed to claim his wife as a dependent for the whole year even though she passed away in February. I'm grateful for business owners like Yvonne who provide valuable services, but not at the expense of someone who just needs a simple question answered. Thank you Yvonne for your kindness during a very difficult time for our family!! Now I'll be the first to say, I'm pretty lost with profit/losses and book keeping, as I said it's my first time. For the past 8 years I've just used TurboTax for personal, but as I said, first time with a business. Initially you talk with someone over a chat, they ask you questions and you answer them and send them forms. They said they could do my profit/losses for me for about $75 extra, I was fine with it, figured it was worth learning how to do it. Took about a month but finally had my appointment to talk over video (30min). They were 6min late and obviously very tired. I truly felt bad for Yuliya as she seemed so exhausted. We spent the first 18min looking at the Dept. of Washington tax site and she was showing me how to fix my prior quarterly tax filings because she felt I had labeled my business incorrectly. After I showed her what I was doing, she changed her mind and said "I think you're actually fine and doing it right". So that left us 6 minutes to rush through my tax return before her next appointment. In the end I spent $350 to save $3 (the difference in number between what I got in TurboTax vs. having it done by Nationwide). For me, if I would have learned something about better tax reporting for the LLC, it would have been worth it. But it just felt very rushed, very impersonal and honestly I'd rather just go back to doing it myself.
