When you get set up with a primary resident you might have that resident for three or four months until they move on but this is OK because these residents are top-notch. Amazing staff. Essentially, you pay for the healthcare you need. This is an excellent practice for people who cannot easily afford medical insurance and are shut out of our healthcare system. For myself, I enjoy the fact that The practice is personable and accessible, and I never have a difficult time getting an appointment when I needed it. I think many more people should be considering medical practices such as evolve, yet I still do not find that many. The closest analogy is somewhere like Care first, however, Care first is less of a medical practice run by one doctor and more of a mass healthcare system. Evolve is a medical practice, with an excellent doctor, competent staff, and a pay as you go approach.

One week later I called her office again to say I was still in the hospital. Her staff member told me that "Dr, Chambers doesn't do that." I asked what doesn't she do? The staff member told me that Dr. Chambers doesn't talk to patients or their families when there is a hospital visit involved?!!! I wish I had known that, all these years. Know this: Dr, Chambers will not be there for you or your family if there is a health emergency. My question is, where is her alliance to the Hippocratic Oath that she took, Including... "I will remember that I do not treat a fever chart, a cancerous growth, but a sick human being, whose illness may affect the person's family and economic stability. My responsibility includes these related problems if I am to care adequately for the sick."

And to add insult to injury in that instance, my ankle/foot specialist is on the thirds loot of the same building and no one told me to go see her-- I wish there were better communication between the primary office and the specialty offices in the same building because there are so many specialists in the building and no one communicates!!!
