I'm very surprised at the reviews I'm reading on here. This has been my kids pediatrician since…read morethey were born and I have always had a great experience. We normally see Mrs. Thistle for well visits and Dr. Fitch for sick visits. Mrs. Thistle is very personable and makes you feel at home in the office. It's also very easy to schedule appointments with the front desk and we have always gotten in quickly for sick visits. I used the answering service on several occasions when my kids were smaller and the on-call doctor always called back right away. One thing I want to point out is that when my middle child was 3 she was coughing like crazy for about a week. We took her to a pediatric urgent care center who passed it off as a virus. We then took her to Dr. Fitch for a second opinion and she diagnosed her with pneumonia so we were able to give her proper treatment in time. We have been seeing Dr. Fitch ever since, she's just amazing and wonderful with kids as well.

The office is well-organized, the staff is consistently friendly, and the environment is clean and welcoming. We really appreciate the separation of well and sick visit areas -- it's a thoughtful touch that gives extra peace of mind. Everyone we've encountered has been so kind to our 1.5-year-old, which helps him feel completely at ease during visits. They genuinely interact with the kids and make the experience positive from start to finish. I recently had to call on a weekend and was connected with a nurse who was incredibly helpful and thorough in answering my questions. That kind of care really stands out. We see Dr. Diane Landram, and she is absolutely wonderful. She takes the time to listen, offers helpful and up-to-date information, and never makes you feel rushed or dismissed. This is exactly what pediatric care should look like -- highly recommend!

I am absolutely appalled by the experience my husband and daughter had at this office. We will…read morenever be returning, and I strongly question how this office is being managed. My husband brought our daughter in for an appointment that was specifically scheduled for two shots. In addition, we requested that they look at stitches that had not completely dissolved. Somehow, when my husband arrived, the staff had no idea why she was there and apparently thought the appointment was only for the stitches. This was not a misunderstanding on our end -- the appointment was booked by the nurse for the purpose of getting her shots. Because everyone was apparently getting ready to leave for the day, my husband and daughter were then rushed through the appointment. The fact that the staff had apparently made a scheduling error and were now inconvenienced by their own mistake is not our problem. To make matters worse, this office has previously used a cold-pack buzzer to help distract our daughter during shots. This time, they didn't. It may seem like a small detail, but when you're dealing with a child getting shots, consistency and basic consideration matter. The worst part of the entire experience, however, was what happened afterward. My husband was sent to the manager's office, where the manager proceeded to question him about why we don't bring our daughter in more often. She actually asked, "How do you know she's growing?" Seriously? We can see her. We are her parents. It is completely inappropriate and incredibly condescending for a manager to question a parent about how they choose to parent their own child, especially when there was absolutely no justification for the attitude she took with my husband. Her demeanor was disgusting, judgmental, and completely unprofessional. She then apparently mumbled something along the lines of how it was "good" that he brought her in for her shots because "you know how people are these days." That comment was completely inappropriate and frankly left us wondering exactly what she was implying. There was absolutely no accountability for the office's scheduling error. Instead, my husband was made to feel as though he was the problem. This entire experience was disrespectful, unprofessional, judgmental, and completely unacceptable. Parents should not have to walk into a pediatric office and be made to feel scrutinized or criticized by the people who are supposed to be providing care for their child. What a disgrace. We have completely lost confidence in this office and will be taking our daughter elsewhere. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for a place where parents and children are treated with basic respect and professionalism. If I could give this office zero stars, I absolutely would.

I returned to her because back then she gave me good vibes, tried to help with my situation, and even completed a document to ensure my insurance covered it. It was medically necessary. Today I came in for a mole consultation. I've had this mole my whole life, or for as long as I can remember, but it has slowly grown. It's been itching, and I'm now able to squeeze it between my fingers. Long story short, I was concerned about the cancer implications. It doesn't take long to notice that the business is 'money first, everything else later'. I provided my credit card and paid the $200 upfront cost, but had to once again provide this information when I arrived. I understood it was a cosmetic procedure, so it would likely not be covered by insurance, but was more concerned about the possible cancer part. Once you know this, and are okay with that, I suppose it is what it is. Once Dr. Rodney arrived for the consultation, she provided a few options: freeze it or surgically remove it to ensure the 'root' was removed as well. Of course, the surgical option would cost more. If she froze it there was the possibility I'd have to return due to its thickness. I opted for the surgery. The technician whipped out her payment system so I could pay right there on the spot. Perhaps others have run out the door before making payment? I don't know. I suppose anything is possible. We moved to another room, and Dr. Rodney proceeded to remove the mole. She numbed the area so I felt no pain. It was rather quick. I'll return in 10-days to have the stitches removed. I'll update that part after. Overall, it was quick & painless. Well, the only pain was to my wallet, which I would have minded less if they went about it another way. IMO, I prefer the Dr. Rodney of old.

My experience: * I paid $300 for the appointment and waited…read more90 minutes in the waiting room and another 25 minutes in the exam room before Dr Rodney saw me. * Dr Rodney did not examine my skin which has severe eczema! She had her assistants take pictures but the doctor never touched my skin, never looked at my skin and never got any closer to me than about 6 ft away. The doctor spent exactly 7 minutes in the exam room with me. * I asked her why do I have such severe eczema? Is this even eczema? She shrugged her shoulders at me and said 'I don't know'. I asked her what could be causing this issue. Is it dietary? Could it be stress-related? Is it allergy-related? Is it parasite related? She shrugged her shoulders and said "I don't know" to every question I asked her. * Dr Rodney asked me NO questions about my prior medical history or my lifestyle or my diet. She did not ask me about my level of pain or medications I've tried in the past or how I was treating my severe eczema at home. * Dr Rodney had no concern for my well-being! I have been her patient for several years and all she is ever done is give me steroids that don't work. * Dr Rodney's like a legal drug dealer because all she wants to do is give you a prescription and send you away... over and over and over again. Yet it is particularly difficult to get a refill. The doctor wants you to keep coming in and pay those $300 office visits so they can give you a different drug and send you on your way without asking any questions about you, your lifestyle or your condition. * You must pay in full before you even see the doctor. * And while you wait 90 minutes for your appointment, Dr Rodney is on every television in the waiting room and also in the exam room showing herself on a daytime talk show. Her appearance on that talk show is played continually while you wait... *Dr Rodney at Eternal Dermatology is not interested in curing you, examining you or exploring what could possibly be causing these chronic conditions. She did not physically examine my skin nor did she ask me any questions about anything at all! Wow. PATIENT BEWARE!! Dr Rodney at Eternal Dermatology does not care about her patient's well-being! Because if she did care about her patients, she would ask questions and explore and try to figure out what's going on with chronic skin conditions. What a terrible experience I had with Dr Rodney. I have never been more disappointed in a doctor.
