This time I was fascinated by their Harry Potter collection. They had stuffed animals, Lego-Harry Potter Train sets, and Slytherin wand sets. I will leave those for Draco. I also spent sometime in their journal department. One of my resolutions was to journal more and I thought with a cute journal, I may be more willing to write more regularly. I wasn't really approached by anyone to ask if I needed help. But, there were people at the checkout counter. The prices for new books are usually very good. They give you a 20 percent discount. So, I wandered around and ended up leaving empty handed. But, I will definitely be back soon.

It's hard for me to leave without buying something. They also have a good amount of stuff in the bargain bin too. The staff is also so kind as well. My 4 year old daughter had to use restroom, which normally is for staff only. Without hesitation, they let her use the restroom. She normally doesn't tag along with me, but was happy they were willing to assist. Totally worth your time to stop in.

It's a roomy store, compared to a lot of comic shops, with a lot of recent series, if not the most…read morerecent issues of those series. Their margins must be tight, as they open at 10 AM on Wednesday, and some titles are sold out by 11:30. So, they appear to be under ordering, so as not to have to potentially sit on stock. Not too long ago, they changed their policy where they wouldn't be ordering variant covers unless you specifically pre-ordered them. Sure, that's their prerogative, but many variants are open-order, not requiring any minimums on the part of the retailer, so it just seems...odd. The service...This is my biggest gripe. Often, I've gone into the store to find the cashier talking to a friend/acquaintance. A customer might want assistance, and the cashier is visibly annoyed that he has to stop his conversation to provide customer service. Then, once the customer checked out and left, the cashier would turn to his friend and say something like "That's the guy I was telling you about", with a laugh. So, they seem to joke about their customers - the people keeping them in business - and it just feels unprofessional. I've worked retail, so I get it, but those aren't conversations to gold loudly, as other customers are in the store. I mean, what are they saying about ME when I leave? This has happened more than once, while some of the other loud topics of discussion aren't always appropriate for "polite company". The most friendly employee, sadly, passed away recently, so we're left with the ones talking behind our backs.

The food section has an abundance of choices, but they usually only stock one or two different brands. They have a nice selection of clothing and a cute Sefora on the first floor, as well. They do need to hire some more people. Finding an employee to answer a question is a challenge. Truthfully, my secret reason for going to Target is the snacks. Yes, they always have my Baked Cheeto's and pineapple upside down cake LaraBars. I also really like their book section and I can always get my book club books here. I find Target to be a good value on some items and a little high on others. So, know, before you go! I will always be a Target shopper and I really like browsing through the store. I didn't get her name because I simply left after she gave me attitude, but she was an African American lady with locs and facial piercings and her coworker had puffy curly hair. As an African American myself, I did not appreciate this treatment. This was around 12:45-1:00 on December 31, 2025. Some places require to order in advance for large quantity orders so that's why I asked. This type of behavior is unacceptable.

I always buy some snacks, novelty items and iPhone related stuff. Sometimes holiday things as well. The only gripe I always have is that the register only has 1 person working even though there is a long line of customers. Also, some customers inside this store are inconsiderate and rude! They don't say "Excuse me." Or "Sorry." Whenever they have to walk by you with a cart, they come so close!!! And not a single ounce of consideration at all. How senseless and oblivious they act!!!
