Basically, if you bought a ticket through a specific link, it would give some of the proceeds to the Humane Society. Great event, and great community give back. This event was so fun! For a few extra dollars ($5-$10), you could bring your beloved doggy companion as well. This was a really nice gesture to allow guests to bring their pets. It created a really cute and fun atmosphere. Although not all of the doggies behaved well (problems with barking and whining due to stimuli overload), it was still a fun event that I highly recommend if you're a pet lover. The game itself was really exciting and well played. The guys try really hard to score wins for the team. The excitement and energy really makes me want to go back and watch another game even though I'm not really a hockey fan. As I just said, you don't have to be a hockey fan to enjoy the games. It's an easy to understand game with lots of immediate action. Going home with a win does feel very good. The food could really use some work at concessions. When I go to other sports games like baseball, I have very fond memories of the concessions. But, the food is kinda of meh here. As a kid, I wouldn't really feel a special connection with the food because it tastes kind of... not great. Although the food isn't the best thing you'll ever eat, the prices are not super high. It's fairly affordable if you feel the need to eat.

I loved the chaps made from Buffalo hair, and the old organs that won't play unless one pumps the foot petals. Of course, the outside village is an amazing collection of settlers' cabins and other structures, all with period-appropriate furnishings. I'm in a wheelchair; I found the museum to be very accessible. Admission is $10-12 at most, and Veterans are free. But seriously, consider making a donation anyway. These wonderful places require so much upkeep. We don't want to lose them!

The front desk worker was a bit brusque in their interactions, however there were a few of us entering at once, so it might have just been a bit overwhelming for them. As someone on a budget, the price was a little on the high side, however nothing exorbitant. The exhibits were easy to navigate and good use was made of the available space. Artifacts were meticulously laid out both inside the main museum and in the pioneer village. The Great Northern Railway car was open to exploration, which was very neat. The whole pioneer village was well maintained and a great way to get some context for what life in Cashmere was like in the past. I noted a few bloopers on my visit, one concerning geology and one concerning currency. Some people I know love bloopers, in Hollywood they are something that might go wrong in constructing/putting together a movie and are visible in the final product, and they feel it can add to the overall experience. However, I am not currently the biggest fan of bloopers, though I used to enjoy them more, perhaps I am just a bit rusty on their enjoyment value.

You can see a small selection of the nutcrackers displayed near the entrance without purchasing a ticket so you can get a feel for what the museum has to offer before you decide if you want to go inside or not. For me it was just okay, and while I appreciate the impressive collection of nutcrackers from around the world, I'm not all that passionate about nutcrackers to be honest. This group tonight, a 'knock-off' group singing ABBA's music and wearing their regalia, did a really good job of presenting the ABBA theme and program. The music was fun, fast, and sometimes furious. The Wenatchee orchestra was a nice compliment. The seating was perfect (isle seat) but there were people in front and they decided to stand toward the end of the concert and that bugs me. I want to see and see sitting down. If they want to stand move to the very back. The ushers should take this in-hand and move these folks out. I am not excited when the audience sings; I am there to hear the concert. I go to karioche to hear interlopers. The concert was great, the venue was great, and the location of the venue was convenient. Thank you PAC for the nice reception. One exception actually: the blather from the introduction by the PAC director was a little over the top. I didn't go there to see you.
