They're not ready for prime time.

Horrible experience…read more I have a tricky spot to mow. I know its tricky. Thats why i wanted to hire a group to do it. I called and asked for someone to come out and confirm they could do the tricky spot. They swore they didnt need to. I insisted. We stood in the tricky spot, and i let them know this is the whole reason i want a mower. If this is mowed they are fine and if not i dont need them. The assured me it was fine. For about a month they mowed it. Then i noticed it looked like it was being skipped. I watched them skip it today. I called they sent someone back out to finish. He came with a supervisor or something to do it. They yelled and cussed for a while, and then mowed a different spot to bare dirt. Then got me and asked if that was everything. I said no, do the tricky spot. They refused and asked if they could go. I said if they werent going to mow, go ahead. Then i got an owner/manager/well spoken guy on the phone. He said i was a liar and we never discussed that section and it would cost a lot extra. I burned most of a day trying to get them to mow. Only good part was the refunded todays cut, and cancelled the contract without much work. Only use if you have a small, flat, square yard.

When we started with him, he did most of the work by himself. His business is much bigger than that now. One thing we like is that he has the equipment necessary to do the work efficiently and quickly. They come with enough manpower equipped to take care of our 1/2 acre yard in about twenty minutes, including cleaning up with a grass blower, etc. His snow clearing service is top notch. After Snowmageddon and other big snows, he brought a front loader to lift the snow well away from the driveway. Much better than trying to pushing the snow with blades. When we had a medically frail person living with us, John put clearing snow from our drive on his priority list. Reasonable prices, too.

He also cleaned and repaired our stone paths and patio and, when the jobs were done, he reseeded and put down straw so that the grass filled in completely. A great value for the price.
