Large chunks for artichoke that I wish were a little smaller so they weren't so awkward to eat in one bite (not awkward for me as I am large to begin with). Had to try their only desert of deep fried cheesecake and it was fantastic. I think the cheesecake itself should be bigger and charge $1.50 more to make it an even $10. It is the normal cheesecake size but you loose 1/4inch due to the deep fry. Overall great experience excited to come back tomorrow for round two!

It used to be fun, but in recent years has become very run down. Pretty sure the only reason it survives is its convenient proximity to the RCMP Training Depot. Terribly managed - nothing has changed in years and years. I don't think it's ever been cleaned. It literally stinks like an unflushed toilet. They're always out of half the beers they have on tap (not because of demand, but because the staff is too lazy to hook up new kegs). The worst part is that they charge more for drinks than most upscale places. It's outrageous. We used to have an annual football team post game windup there, but we'll be looking for a new place this year.

We shared a few starters- the stuffed yorkies and calamari - and were instantly blown away. They were absolutely delicious. The calamari was so tender and the pickled onion on top was too die for. We asked about the delicious corn beef used for the yorkies and were told the chef makes it in-house. It beats any I have ever eaten (and I grew up on british stepmom's corn beed hash- sorry mum). The fish and chips were so yummy - the tartar sauce doubles as a dip for your fries cause it was just that good. My son tells me the hickory stick burger is his new favorite comfort food. The sticky toffee pudding we shared for dessert disappeared so fast I couldnt get a picture before the crew took it down...lol! The servers were very attentive and friendly, the music was good, the beer selection was abundant and cold, the bathrooms were spotless - what more could a girl want! **With the restrictions we were told they now offer take out so I can have their fish and chips even through the resent lock down in Regina!
