Do you want your vehicle done cheaply, fast or right. What you get is expensive, slow, and wrong. One star is for the fact once upon a time the owner was a trustworthy mechanic. And the bbb expects a star rating.

I will never have my engine machine work performed here again, and would not recommend it to anyone…read moreeither. I took my motor, a 454 BBC, to him and requested everything be checked and whatever needed to be done, done. He didn't check the crank, lost the ARP main studs I brought to have the align bore and hone done, and lost the main bearings I ordered though him. Almost $700 in machine work and he performed less than half that amounts worth. On top of that, the crank is not usable and I was charged for polishing, which was not done. I'm severely disappointed and will never recommend, nor have any work done, by this shop.

A hone from napa cost less than $20, but the answer for the $85 charge for 2 Hours work and a machine shop with a $50,000 dollar machine, just doesn't sit right. So please get a quote from this Co. BEFORE the work is done,otherwise its a $100 bill for working on your $40 wheel barrel!

I brought a L28 engine in to be rebuilt. when I got it back I was livid at what they did to the…read moreengine. The most obvious was the roughened surface they gave the engine deck. It was perfectly smooth. However, Ken desired decided a 50grit profile was better. When I asked him to fix it or refund the costs he got nasty. This engine needs a perfectly smooth deck to seal with the aluminum cylinder head and 10:1 compression! Now I have to pay a real machine shop to deck the block and shave the $900 forged pistons. he also gapped the pistons wrong, failed to torque down the rod and crank bolts even close to spec, Didn't clean the crank journals and destroyed the $300 ACL Race barrings I supplied. to top it off, he rattle can painted the block right over globs of grease. Ken was a complete JERK!
