A review a long time coming!…read more I was on a road trip with a group of friends to Nova Scotia and needed a rear tire in order to get back home in time.  Lisa in the parts department was able to find me a tire and get it installed the same day!  Does this fact mean that she will do it every time?  Well I don't think so, but she did take great care of my riding group. No less then 4 tires were installed.   A chain was installed. There were riders outfitted with waterproof bags replacing their broken luggage. Warm waiting room. Hot coffee. Great attitude and service from LISA. Did I mention that LISA was great?! I know we will stop by on our next trip and hopefully not under the same circumstances. Give ProCycle a try and Lisa a chance to outfit your motorcycle.

I could go on about the shortcomings of the staff here, but it's just too frustrating. They very much have an I don't care, we'll get to it when we fell like it attitude. In fact, disappointingly, because these idiots are basically the only BRP dealers around, they're actually turning me off of BRP products, for the fear/concern of needing to deal with the service staff here.

I contacted them and was informed they had no mechanic and the owner was on holidays for three weeks. No one called me even knowing my concern. After a few calls I was told to bring them in, which I did bring and the owner was a upset and asked why. He eventually agreed to look at them. After trying them out he agreed he heard the noise but said that there was nothing he could do. He said we were on our own to sort out our issue. He suggested we take them to another bike shop. I would say stay away from this dealer.

During my first few visits I have been disappointed with Freedom Cycle. Their selection of…read moreaccessories (other than gear) is rather poor, they do not seem to respond to emails, staff seem fairly uninterested in customers, preferring to chat with each other, etc. They do have a good selection of new motorcycles in stock (Kawasaki, KTM, Yamaha) and also a few used ones. (In addition to motorcycles they also carry ATVs and snowmobiles.) But their customer service so far has been rather poor. The problem is that the other motorcycle stores in the HRM also seem to be less than stellar. So far I am happiest with the one on Windmill Road.

Parts were broken and many scratches and scrapes. I tried to connect when I was looking for a scooter but I was never taken seriously..so I bought from someone else ! They can help you with anything you need, and even the…read moretwo bums, Winnie and Rooi that just hang around the shop are pretty cool too :) Buying a Vespa from them was a breeze, asking them questions on their Facebook page couldn't be easier... they are very eager to help you out as much as they can, and want to make every step of dealing with them a breeze. They are not like a car dealership, these people actually care and want to help you, and they don't smell weird... like most car salesmen. If you need a helmet that is not in their shop or a jacket, or even a scooter... they will get it for you! (they have others besides Vespa's you know. If you think you're too macho to drive a Vespa, then get a Piaggio or something red so people think you like to drive fast) These are the types of people who should be running a car dealership (the bums are dogs)
