Deon called me back within 10 minutes, came out the same day, and provided a quote -- clear, fair, and with options. He's honest, professional, and takes real pride in his work. He didn't rush, and you could tell he cares more about quality than volume. He's still building his business, and I truly respect how conscientious and hardworking he is. He was also incredibly kind to my elderly mom, giving her a much-reduced price knowing she's on a fixed income. If you're looking for driveway sealcoating in Columbus, I strongly recommend giving him a call. I'm glad I did.

They called ahead of time (two hour window - they arrived a little early!) They were professional and thorough - it looks great, and I feel like it's one more "house item" checked off that's not going to stress me out. Original review below: This is my initial review - I am working with Justin Swegart. I made this appointment what feels like forever ago - and 1. he texted me he was on his way 2. arrived almost on the dot during the scheduled window (c'mon, we all know that's a rough arrival time when they have multiple clients, right?) For Justin: he was friendly, he was clear about the options, and communicated everything out as far as "what needs done," "what's in good shape," and "things to keep an eye on." He didn't push upselling, didn't push me to spend an extra $4k on work that wasn't necessary, he gave us all the options to make an informed decision. He explained the processes, the materials used, and didn't try to get overly technical or litter with terminology to make it seem fancier than it is. I felt more educated in just talking with him! So I've made my deposit with them (thanks to Justin). I'll update this as the contract moves forward!

I asked them to remove and replace my sidewalk, they removed and raised it 4 inches which has changed my entire yard. They moved all of the mud and debris into my gravel driveway turning it into a mud hole flowing into my garage. In the middle of pouring the concrete they realized the sidewalk was too high to be able to close my storm door so they made a last minute adjustment, now I have a dip in my sidewalk. My shed doors won't open all the way. There is more but needless to say their attention to detail leaves a lot to be desired. Almost forgot, they ran out of concrete towards the end and had to order a new batch that started chipping in the first week. I have called dozens of times, texted and emailed with little to no response. I do not recommend Optimus Concrete.

I write reviews all the time, anyone I do business with if I feel it necessary…read more I use Yelp, Google, Yellow Pages, etc. before I commit to doing a big job or if I've had rotten lousy service somewhere. I've also learned from experience that (sometimes) someone's competition will use these sites to "blast" them if they feel it necessary. Looking at comments below here's what I can say from my numerous jobs with Matt and his crew. I've never had one problem..... I'm a real estate investor and have 6 rental properties. Being a woman, I'm very selective and very picky. I keep my properties looking good and go over and above in an attempt to keep long term tenants. I do all things concrete. Matt knows I ask all kinds of questions "before" starting a job so as to know what to expect. I'll know if it will be noisy, I'll know if I need to cover up my landscaping or anything else, etc. In other words, I take responsibility and ASK all necessary questions so that I know what's coming and can prepare my tenants and my property. Matt has done everything from concrete patios, big and small driveways, driveway aprons for me and not once was I disappointed. He did what he said he'd do and/or what I requested in our many conversations before work began. He and his crew do outstanding work, he's reasonably priced and I'd never call anyone else.

Brian, Greg, and their guys are amazing, professional, and patiently guided me through the daunting amount of decisions that go along with that magnitude of a project. I was continually pleasantly surprised at how first class their work is, little details I wouldn't have thought of that make a huge difference. All their guys that came out are great and I really like them all. Throughout the process I had complete trust in them. Brian's priority of customer service is refreshing. I liked their work so much that I had them do work in a bathroom. I highly recommend OPB and I will definitely call on them the next remodel or home job I need.

OPB refused to inspect the bowed area, at no cost to me, until I called Installation Made Easy, who I contracted them through. * After OPB agreed to the inspection at no cost, it was discovered that they had left a shim under the floor, causing the bow. Since half of the flooring had to be removed to fix the mistake, many boards were damaged in the process, setting up a third 'installation fix'. * During the third 'installation fix' two boards were not cut properly, leaving quarter to half-inch gaps from the wall, revealing the subfloor beneath. * After being unable to install the floor properly in three different instances, (without causing more issues), they refused to return. * Their unprofessionalism in both quality of work and customer service persuaded me to write this review, to forewarn potential customers.
