The club offers many extras for kids and families that are free of charge or at a very low and reasonable price. I am very happy with our overall experience here. It's a super great place for kids. I was a bit unsure when I first looked into the club because I wasn't sure how supervised the kids would be and I didn't want my child to have a rough time. I am sooooo glad that I enrolled her and sent her. This has been the best experience! She will now forever be a musgrave unit boys and girls club member.

I've boarded another horse there for about a year 5 years back as well and the experience has been the same. I get updates often on how my horse is doing and what care is coming up for them. The owner Maryanne is personable, professional, and a joy to be around. She cares deeply about the horses on her property. I sleep soundly knowing my horse is in her care. This barn is full of very inviting people that are genuinely so kind and fun to be around. I have taken lessons from Maryanne and she introduced me to her trainer, Katherina, who took me on as her.atudent. Katherina is an amazing teacher. She is firm but kind and clear in her instruction. She can pick up on how I'm doing and adjust the lessons to my needs at the time. She is a wealth of knowledge. The lessons have been such a blessing, with her help I transition from western to full English. Truly, the transition wouldn't have gone so easily without her direction. Katherina is the one that started my horse and trained her in dressage and BOY! She did such an amazing job. Even a novice like myself can see what an excellent job she has done. Katherina cares for both the rider and the horse, she is tuned in during the lessons.

I brought 2 of my horses to Oaks and Ivy in Marshfield Missouri. 6 weeks later they looked like…read morethey were being starved to death. I had the skinniest one of them vet checked. No illness and no parasites. This horse is the one that I bred. The vet said her not settling was most likely due to the severe weight loss. There is so much information about what led up to the battle and who fought at this site as well as its place in the Civil War timeline. This is the site of the first Union general killed in action as well as the first Civil War battle that took place West of the Mississippi River. I did the Junior Ranger packet to obtain my free badge and watched the film. I chatted so long with Ranger Clayton Hanson about the Civil War and racism that his colleagues had to basically kick us out because they had the gate to the gift shop already down! It's great to chat with rangers who are passionate about their post. There was no entrance fee at this site. Visited December 2024

I have been to Smitty's gym numerous times. Several kids i talked to said they would not be going to college had it not been for smitty. He deals with cases of kids with no or bad parents and does his best to support them. He is a man of God and is doing His work. Supporting this program is supporting the future of our community and your family. If we don't help disadvantaged kids we will all pay a price.
