I was hoping that because it was midweek in the afternoon that it would be less crowded but I was wrong. Their small slide wasn't working so there were cones around it. My 2 year old kept getting splashed in the face by the older kids running through but she didn't seem to mind. We spent about 45 min here and that was enough. There was an ice cream man parked as well as a beachfront with a playground to explore as well.

Very spacious and clean pools. About 50-100 tanning lounge chairs to choose from. Very attentive lifeguards. Snack bar is available as well. A diving pool, Olympic pool, swimming lanes, adult section, and various feet of water to swim in. This is all included when you pay the one time fee for the day. So sad I only learned about them towards the end of the summer! They close on Labor Day. Will definitely make it a staple to come back next summer.

You can enter the trail from different directions, which makes it convenient. The views are beautiful and serene. When we went in March, there were still remaining snow & ice, which made it more challenging but doable, lots of climbing like you're on a stairmaster with sections of inclines & declines and there's 2 main trails. We hiked the first 2.2-mile, Nassau Suffolk *out-and-back* Trail. Just keep walking until you see the road and from there, you can either turn back or cross the street to hike the second *loop* Trail. Highly recommend coming here to hike if you're in the area.
