Hmm...service started pretty rocky with a "What do you want to drink." Even when I then said hello- no friendly reaction. Beers arrived, food ordered, beers emptied and then food arrived. Maybe they were breaking in a new cook. Wasn't busy on a Sunday afternoon: 12 people total. Seem to do a good takeout business. Food was good. Bacon cheeseburger was well done and still moist. French dip was loaded with meat. Fries were cold. Coleslaw was soggy cabbage in a bowl of dressing. Great signs to read while waiting for food. I would try it again. read more

Absolute diamond in the rough kinda joint. From the outside you'd never guess they served absolutely delicious food at a great price. This is one of the only places that hasn't gone crazy with inflation. Highly recommend stopping by and patronizing this establishment. Mushroom Swiss burger is my usual go to, but everything I've tried has been excellent. read more

If I want a hand thrown burger, fresh veggies with tons of home made fries, delish fry sauce and fabulous service I come to LG Brewskis. (Just be sure to ask for your burger to be cooked all the way through if you don't want a pink burger) Their new bar/dining room is very nice and the food is well worth the drive from La Grande. Had out of town company for 4th of July so decided to take them here for dinner. Big mistake!! Had new girl working both restaurant and bar. It took 4 hours to get one drink and our food. Owner came through and never offered to help her out. Halfway through they finally called in some help but they were too far behind by then. Food was cold and overcooked. Not a good impression on out of town people or locals either. read more

Oh Lordy!!! Stopped in for lunch. This place is adorable. Not only that but I ordered the Philly sandwich with mushrooms. It didn't disappoint. I am a die hard Philly person. I must say this is the best Philly sandwich I've ever had!! They sure don't skimp on the meat or the rest. I had to cut it in thirds because it would t fit in my mouth . The service was great and the food is to die for! The ambiance is nice and western and sometimes they even have people singing and playing music. If you want a place with great food and live music I definitely recommend LJ Brewskis! Also I highly suggest you try the French dip and their fry sauce. read more

the food was really good, but it took way to long to come. It took thirty minutes for the burgers we ordered, which came in a timely manner but they forgot our onion rings and when we asked for them it took 45 minutes for them to come out, and they had it sitting in the counter for 15 minutes before giving it to us. The salad bar was low the whole time, and it was hard to get enough of anything for a salad from it. inside it was very homey and it was cowboy themed. The tables were clean but the chairs were super uncomfortable. They had three TVs, the large one wasn't working but the smaller two where playing rodeo shows. Overall the food was good, but not worth waiting for for how long we waited. read more

Very friendly staff and customers! Enjoyed playing pool, drinking beers, eating the good bar food. They had a live band from Portland one night, and the place filled up (standing room only). By far the best place to eat in Union! The staff are ALWAYS friendly and polite and the food is delicious! We mostly call ahead and pick our food up, but have visited the bar several times and love playing board games with friends there on a cold snowy night. In the Summer, they have a cool outdoor space with live music most weekends, and again, great atmosphere and so much fun! If you haven't been to LG Brewskis yet...or if you want better food than the other two places in town, try it! You won't be sorry! read more
