I went in for for my initial microblading procedure today. I love my results so far and can't wait to see the final results after my 6 week touch up! Lexy is a fantastic microblade artist. She pays attention to detail, is knowledgable and professional. I had very sparse brows and have to constantly fill them in which took a lot of time and patience. I love how natural my brows look and the strokes blend in so well with my real brow hairs. I found her on instagram and emailed her right away after seeing the before and after photos of her clients. She responded to my email promptly and asked me a few questions to be sure I am a good candidate for the procedure before I booked a day. The room in the spa that I had my microblading done was clean and calming. Lexy made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. I first filled out a quick form, she gave me a sheet on after care and then she applied numbing cream on me. Next, she measured my face and drew in an outline of what my brows would look like. She gave me some suggestions as to what would suit my face best and asked how I like them. After I was satisfied with how it looked, she started the procedure. The procedure was very sanitary. Lexy showed me the new needle she was about to open. It was virtually painless. The only part that made me nervous was the scratching sound of the needle but her calming music helped drown out the sound. When she first started, it felt like when she was drawing my brows in..I felt no pain. Later the numbing wore off a bit and it felt like a small sunburn but Lexy sensed I felt something right away and asked if I needed more numbing. She reapplied numbing once and continued to perfect my brows. Before I knew it, she said I was done. Lexy explained the after care to me and reminded me that it's all on the sheet she gave me. She said I can call or text her with any additional questions. I love that she really cares about her clients. The cost of the procedure was $350 and I got a $25 discount with my Yelp check in so the total cost was $325 and I tipped her. I was referred to Lexy from a from a friend who had work done by Lexy and her brows looked amazing. I started to follow her page and was so excited about my upcoming appointment. The appointment went well, the healing was as expected and I was ready for the touch up. The touch appointment was a lot shorter than the first as expected and so was the recovery. I quickly started to notice that my bows were uneven. I waited a couple more weeks knowing that it does take several weeks for brows to fully heal. After 6 weeks I was convinced that my brows were indeed uneven. I asked many friends to give me their opinions and also asked 2 other certified micro blading artist, they ALL agreed the my brows were uneven. I sent pictures to Lexy and asked her opinion if she thought they were uneven and if so what was the course of action to correct it. She ignored my question and gave me scripted response that some clients brows heal differently and if I wanted to I could come in for a third session. I responded that I did want to come in and she proceeded to tell me that she was scheduling appoints for 3 months out! I couldn't believe that she was making wait so long to fix her mistake but decided to agree to the September date because I still did not want to go to anyone else, but then she sends me another text stating that I would have to pay $100 for the visit. On top of the $350 I already paid! At this point I couldn't believe what was going on. The first session went well, it wasn't until the second session that the procedure was not executed well and now I have to pay more money?? Doesn't seem fair at all and the lack of concern from Lexy was infuriating. I would not recommend for anyone to go to Lexy for microblading. See pictures make your own judgement. read more

There have been many microblading artists randomly popping up recently, but Lexy is definitely the best. I naturally have thick eyebrow hairs, but I didn't like the shape I had and filling them in took a lot of time. I really wanted to make my brows fuller and thicker, so I decided to give microblading a try and went with Lexy. She charged a reasonable price and I liked her work from her instagram pictures. Lexy really listens to what you want and guides you through the process. Before starting, she numbs you to avoid the pain, then works on your shape with you. She draws two different shapes based on your face structure and lets you choose. If there's anything you want to change, she'll happily change it for you. Once you have everything figured out, she shows you different swatches of colors and gives you recommendations. I have a very low pain tolerance but during the process she made me extremely comfortable, talking to me and adding additional numbing cream if I started to feel pain. Once she's done, she shows you the results and checks with you to make sure you like it before she masks it. This is where you can tell her if there's anything you want fixed, for example, if you want it thicker, want more strokes on some areas, etc. There were a couple of spots I wanted to adjust and she did so for me. She gives you an aftercare sheet but be sure to schedule your complimentary touch up with her!! After my first session, I had a few hair strokes that disappeared, but I also wished I had gone thicker with a slightly more ashy color. When I went back to my touch up appointment, I spoke with Lexy about my concerns, and she addressed all of them, touching up my brows to the way I wanted them! I am extremely happy with the way my brows turned out and I am so glad I went with Lexy. If you're going with Lexy, don't be afraid to tell her what you want or voice any of your concerns! Stumbled across Lexy's Instagram and decided to come in and get my eyebrows done for the first time! From the start, Lexy made me feel so comfortable despite being nervous. After filling out some paperwork, we went straight to the numbing cream. She drew two different shapes, one that looked like how I normally drew it and one that was a little more arched. I've had sparse brows practically my whole adult life due to over plucking, so finding the right person/right price was extremely important.
