Be very careful selling your car here. I sold mine to Lexus Downtown on Oct 7th, but they delayed my lien payoff for over a month. This forced me to make $901.39 in extra payments out of my own pocket. When they finally paid the bank, they pocketed the $901 difference instead of refunding it to me. Finance Manager Rashed Sharifi admitted in writing the money is "rightfully owed" to me, but now he and GM Zafer Sharifi have gone silent. I have been forced to file a formal complaint with OMVIC and Lexus Canada Corporate to get my money back. Extremely unprofessional behavior for a luxury dealership. read more

I'm not a Lexus driver but I required a small part for a Toyota Highlander. Tommy in the parts department on the 2nd floor was very friendly and helpful. He answered my questions with the issue I was having and directed me how to proceed. If I ever do become a Lexus driver, I would definitely go to Lexus Downtown. read more

I leased a RX350 under my business account but the seller ( Sean Sepehri ) put the contract on my personal account and after that he and the financial department didn't answer my calls at all! The dealership supervisor , financial part and seller kept ignoring my email and calls and refused my request completely! They don't even answer your call after the contract! Over there the whole team are work together to make you disappointed to give up from the complaint. please DO NOT PURCHASE any vehicle from them. Indeed. after selling the car, no one even answer your phone or emails. Please trust the rating (1.5!) and stay away from this zero customer service dealer and irresponsible sellers. read more

Sales person is very nice and have a good knowledge. I trust him

I always trust Lexus quality. The sales rep and financial account manager are very helpful. It was a long waiting, but worth it.

Sales Consultant - Sean was great to deal with. However, one of the Used Car Managers was incredibly rude, disrespectful and insulting. To make matters worse, their service technician did not properly and safely complete service on the rear driver side brakes(did not insert caliper pin to wheel assembly). Work was corrected promptly when the car was brought in. Despite the fantastic service from Sean, this dealership let me down on a number of fronts. I'll continue to drive and support Toyota/Lexus products, just not this dealership. Buy your next Lexus elsewhere. read more

Came in for a Lease Buy Out with my dad. The original lease was under my brother's name but we wanted to buy the car under my dad's name. First point of contact was already a bust. My brother had already sent an email asking for information about a lease buy out but we never heard back from them via email. However he kept getting calls from a sales representative named Jacky pestering him about getting a new lease. About a week later I got an email from the Financial Services Representative named Ellen about my interest in buying out the car. I sent her my driver's license and got the Bill of Sales. After a few email exchanges, I expressed that we wanted to purchase the car under my dad's name instead and asked for a new Bill of Sales so I could make the right draft for the purchase. That's when the communication stopped. I had to call Lexus twice the day before the buy out to try and reach Ellen. In the end, it was a wasted effort as she didn't get back to me until 8:30pm the night before our appointment. We were booked for 9am on Friday. We arrived at 8:50am and dropped the car off with the service team to get the safety check done. We approached reception and told them that we were looking for Ellen. We were then directed to wait in the lounge while the receptionist paged Ellen. Around 10 minutes later, we're told by the receptionist that Ellen won't be in for another 30 minutes but the safety check will take around 2 hours anyway so we should make ourselves comfortable. Ellen shows up an hour later and we get all the paper work done within 20 minutes and are told to sit tight for another hour until the safety is done. So we wait. An hours passes and nothing. Another hour passes and nothing. I ask the service department what's going on. Why does a safety check take 4.5 hours when we were originally told that it would only take 2? Worst service experience ever and for such a big purchase too. Would never recommend this dealership to anyone. read more

I've tired to reach out the management team with the information below but nobody replied. I did not want to go public if they attempted to solve my issue. If you really want to purchase a vehicle from this dealer, be extra caution and keep everything on paper. Go over your contract carefully. Once you pay them, you are pretty much on your own.... My story: My wife leased her car in April,2018. The car was an IS300. When my wife leased her car, the salesperson promised her that the deal includes lease return protection. We were students and did some research on leasing our first car. We believe that a lease return protection plan/insurance is a must for leasing a car. Especially it was the first car in her life. We could foresee scratches, ding or dent to happen. Therefore, we specifically asked for it. However, on the bill of sales, the salesperson did not put a lease end protection. Instead, he put an extended warranty (final coat plus). Because the salesperson promised to give us lease return protection, we were misled by him that final coat plus is a fancy name for the lease return protection. When they went over the bill of sales, the salesperson did not tell my wife that 'final coat plus ' was a warranty, not the lease end protection. Now that we need to return the car, there is no lease return protection. During the lease, since we thought we had lease end protection, we did not bother fixing the car knowing it would be covered at the end of the lease. The worse news is that the extended warranty only covers 36 month. Our lease term was 39 month. We wasted 1200$ on the warranty because he misled us to believe we bought the lease end protection. Now we must pay over 1400$ to fix the car for lease return. It could have been covered if we got the lease protection as we wanted. read more

Wasted half a day waiting on a simple oil/filter change that took twice as long as I was even promised. Slowest service Ive ever experienced. read more

For the third time in a row, I received my cars after regular maintenance schedule with tire pressure ranging from 31 to 40 in all the wheels. Fortunately, I can check and correct the tire pressure myself, but I have no confidence in the work on other parts -- breaks, transmission, etc. Obviously, the work is sloppy and there is no quality control of any sort. Also, during one of the services, they forgot to change my winter tires, but billed me for it anyway. On the plus side, the service has always been fast and friendly. But it doesn't compensate for the fact that I am not sure that the cars are safe to drive. read more

I bought a used 450h , had to bring it back 3 times to fix the issues that were supposed to be fixed at the initial pick up. Then they lied about the price of a remote start until i noticed it was on sale and advertised in their service area. They also lied about giving me a special price for ceramic coating , word of advice ...DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER read more

I knew as soon as I had signed my contract for a new Lexus that I had made a mistake. Having had an Acura, where the service is exemplary...I have had nothing but horrible service from the very first day. First, they mislead me about when I could take delivery of the car to close the deal. Next, it took 5 attempts to get somebody to help set up their "convenient" on line app--"the system is down". Next the actual experience when being serviced is abhorrent. I came today to get my 8Km service and have my snow tires (which was clearly indicated when I booked the appointment). I was greeted upon arrival with "sorry, but we are swamped"...why did they take the appointment then. A half hour later I got a call that I would have to come back to have the tires put on the car--they couldn't get them from the warehouse in time. As I was firmly, yet politely expressing unacceptability of having to come back on another unconfirmed day--the person HUNG UP on me!!!! DON'T BUY A CAR FROM LEXUS DOWNTOWN read more

I signed and paid for a car. Apparently it was the last one in Canada. Wait for it... They went and sold it to someone else after the fact and told me that I needed to choose another one, but not the one I wanted. It's as simple as that. read more

Thinking of Lexus for your next car... Don't! Please read my Lexus on The Part review As well. It is a continuation of the saga. They roll out the red carpet and make you feel real good until you sign, then it is good bye and good luck. They really know there stuff. I leased a RX 350 from Lexus Downtown in April of 2013 and have had nothing but problems with the navigation system. I first reported the problem to Lexus Downtown shortly after I leased the car in April 2013 and here we are in January 2014. The problem has still not been dealt with except for a lot of polite professional lip service from Vincent Chan the dealer service manager, I found him to be very impatient to deal with given that I am a new Lexus owner and haven't got a clue what is wrong with the system and he is suppose to be the man with the answers. He spent 30 seconds with me and surmised that it must be a fault with my phone. I escalated the problem to Lexus head office and spoke with Donna Spence, very nice conversationalist; we had quite a few phone calls and shared a few laughs over the months but unfortunately, again received a lot of empty promises and similar lip service with no real action. Donna did make a lot of simple easy to carry out promises to have an updated version installed and even accommodated me with my request to bring it to a different Lexus dealer (Don Valley North Lexus) because I really didn't want to continue dealing with Lexus Downtown after such poor service from Vincent. She hooked me up with Edmund Lee from service department at Don Valley North Lexus. She assured me he will call me, and make arrangements (which to this day he has never picked up the phone). I called him numerous times and scheduled a service call at Don Valley North Lexus and wanted to assure that they could re-install an updated version. He didn't bother to return any of my calls to him. I arrived at Don Valley Lexus and I am greeted by a new person, not Edmund as I requested. They took my car in for service and several times during that visit I asked to speak to Edmund, he was in, but too busy. I left with my oil change and no communication with Edmund Lee. This is the type of response I have been getting on this issue for nine months now. Yes, I am at the end of my rope. I am seriously contemplating launching a law suit over this, and will update you as my thoughts progress. Clearly this is the culture of Lexus Downtown, Don Valley North Lexus and Lexus Canada. Clearly they should be avoided. I cannot recommend Lexus based on the service I have received. If you would like a more detailed account please feel free to contact me. read more

My friend bought Lexus IS250 there and it's been really unpleasant experience. I came along as his English is not great, so he asked me to help check the papers. Honestly, I had much better experience with buying my Hyundai... My friend arrived to the dealership first and started looking at the cars, then some Asian salesperson came to him and asked whether he is here to buy or if he "just spending time looking at nice cars". When my friend told him that he came to buy a car, the salesperson tried to apologize by making a "joke", he told my friend: "you don't look like Lexus person". We asked for another salesmen, who was also quite obnoxious - I guess their customers are older and mainly Oriental. Anyway, the purchase process took 3 hours - after 2 hours we were so tired from their pushy tactics that we tried to walk away. The salesperson literally blocked the doors and begged us to stay. Anyway, after 3 hours my friend signed the papers and was a proud owner of new Lexus. The story doesn't end there. The car came with so many problems that in the 3 months since purchase it has been in repairs twice. Worst thing is that technicians are so bad that they fix one item and break another. It looks like Lexus Canada really needs to hire better salesperson, better technicians, and improve car quality (I have my Elantra for 3 years and didn't have a single issue). read more

Slow. Slow. Slow. Can't trust their estimates. Took my car in for warranty work on a 2 year old car . Rust on inside of door. Said they would file claim with Lexus Canada. Would take a few days. 3 weeks later they finally have approval. That's after I pester them every week. 3 weeks!!! Said I would be on vacation for a week. Can they please work on the car while I'm away. Nope. Body shop all booked up. Maybe they would have been free if you got the dam approval sooner. Fine. Have to wait till after my vacation to bring my car in. How long to fix it? A few days they said. End of week for sure. 3 days later. No car. Call them. They need 2 more days. 2 days later. No car. Say they need another day. Holy. Sure don't give a crap about your time. Work on a frigging bankers schedule. Maybe if I was putting down money they would move faster. Warranty work isn't a big money maker for them. Lexus should be embarrassed that their car has rust after 2 years. They should work harder to fix it quickly as this was clearly a defect. 6 business days for a rust repair? Sounds really long to me. read more

Glad I decided to choose this Lexus dealership over others, stopped by to see what my lease upgrade options were. Sean was most helpful in providing me with all options and allowed me to come to a assured decision with my wife afterwards. unlike other dealerships i visited i did not feel rushed nor disrespected. returned on my own time get in the all new fully loaded RX. Service department is very hard to reach and available appointments are usually several days or a week ahead. Service is only available until 2 pm on Saturdays. Quality of service is good once you make contact and get an appointment which is convenient for the dealer. Probably won't buy another Lexus because of the poor service attitude. read more

Mistreated and discriminated against as a mum with a baby. Poor customer service (None to be exact) and when I was approached, they passed me off to someone else. (I was dressed rather poorly, had my hair in a bun, no makeup). Once we did get into discussions - which I had to leave half way through because he (Jun) was sO rude and slow and he just didn't listen to any of my questions. He even had the nerve to tell me "its hard to have a discussion with you when you have your baby with you - you shouldn't have brought him" ... what an awful experience. I felt completely discriminated against as a mum with a baby. read more

I found the salesperson that l dealt with was misleading and very aggressive in making a deal (commission). He would tell you anything to make a deal. His knowledge of the products (cars) was limited. He made a lot of statements that were not truthful . Made a formal complaint and had a meeting with general manager of Downtown Lexus which went no where. Contacted owner of Downtown Lexus and was to have a meeting with him and he declined after agreeing to meet, claiming that the general manager had dealt with issues. Spoke to Lexus Canada and there statement was that they had no responsibility over there dealerships only warranty issues. read more

This past weekend, my car ended up at Lexus Downtown on Dundas. Although I purchased it in Brampton, they treated me like a Lexus Downtown customer. They were friendly, hospitible (gave me an office phone to use, a desk, charged my phone, even fed me while I set up shop there this w/e for almost 3 hours). I felt welcome and understood (horrible Saturday, spent lots of $ on a tow that went REALLY bad, lousy customer service doesn't even begin to describe it), so at Lexus, they helped me relax. I would be remiss if I didn't send this special shout-out to Conrad Haynes & Antoninia Mikhaleva (who was even patient with my son who was losing it based on the ROTTEN pre-experience we had prior to getting to Lexus). A great bunch! I would recommend them to all my friends who live or travel to the area. read more

yeah! so this time, the wife and i decided to get a 2nd car. we went down here to catch up with Ron who sold us our first car, which was a Toyota. this was back 10 years ago. anyway, we met him again and told him what we were looking for. to make it short, we got the car, was told to someone will pick us up to sign off on Saturday. Saturday came, we had to take a taxi because apparently, they were understaffed. we called up ahead and spoke with Vincent to inquire if we got the Chinese plates IE 168, 888 or anything triple except 4. we were told that he thinks the plates were *68. we got there and i was frustrated to hear that we didn't get the 168 plates and that it is up to us get it exchanged at service Ontario. they told us it was easy to exchange it. i rushed to service Ontario yesterday to try and get a hold of the plates but was told that we needed the authorization form from the dealer since the car is leased. i called them up and Vincent was either busy on the phone, in a meeting or whatever. i even emailed him to send me the form... just checked, still nothing. now, i spoke with Ron and he told me that i can buy the plates from service Ontario. for me, the only real helpful person at that dealership is Kalen Holst. i wouldn't recommend going or sending my family, friends or co workers if they are looking for another car. BTW, the 168 or 888 numbers we were after is considered lucky by the Chinese or any who is Asian. read more
