Do NOT waste your money with this service. I needed only one small thing removed from my credit that was posted erroneously, no follow up or status update after 4 month. Wasted $480 ($120x4 mo). You cannot cancel online or on the app, you have to call which the number give on the site prompts you to participate in some kind of award which sounded sketch/scam. Had to watch a YouTube video to obtain a number to cancel and speak with someone. Dumb. No one even cared on why I wanted to cancel or if my needs were met. This is a scam!!!! I recently discovered that Lexington Law and Creditrepair.com were involved in a law suit by CFPB. Lexington law is actually breaking the law according to CFPB by charging individuals up front for services! They have been attempting to charge my card 139.95 every two weeks and I have seen no results, I asked them to close my account, they confirmed they we closing it and they still try and charge my card every two weeks! I have reported them to CFPB. read more

Just wants to sign you up for a monthly fee. Signed up and only communication I ever received was that they sent a letter trying to verify debt (to a creditor I had never done business with). 3 months in a row just an email saying they sent a letter to them and were awaiting a response. Save your money and go with people who care. (They assured me they did but never seemed as though they did) The only thing they seemed to care about was the monthly fee I was paying. Funny how they cared but only sent a letter 3 times. Would have been different if they had contacted the credit bureau as well after not getting a response. read more

Their app is the worst app and their customer service didn't help at all I paid to help my build my credit and the only call I had was with a women who was 1 hours explaining to me about their policy she didn't help me with any advice after that I cancelled my membership with them and they still charge me and I anyways had to pay for a service I didn't have so they wanted me to pay 200 dollars for a call !! I would caution anyone against dealing with this firm or anyone associated with them. I received a telephone call from them unsolicited despite my listing on the no call list. They claim to be calling in response to my request for credit repair but not only did I not request any contact or services from them I did not make any request for authorize anyone to make any request for credit repair or even credit review. When they contacted me by telephone I Immediately called them out for misrepresenting the basis for their call and made clear that I had not contacted or ask for their services in anyway. I commented upon the inappropriateness of making false statements as part of legal ethics as well as under federal and state credit services and DTPA laws. Before terminating the call, I also notified them that they had violated my no call listing and reminded them that there is no oops I goofed exception. Anyone making telemarketing calls is responsible for checking the no call list before contacting someone by telephone to offer their services. I close by making clear that I did not want any further contact criminal them and l I would be report their misconduct. Despite these clear communications regarding the unwelcome us of their contact and my legally protected direction not to contact me before their call as well as communicated in the call, I subsequently received an email offering their services followed up by an unauthorized text that I have not been asked for or provided consent to as required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Suffice it to say this miss behavior is more than adequate reason not to consider doing any business or providing any information of any nature that it might be sensitive to this business or anyone associated with it. This is the worst complaint ever. They did nothing to help me with my credit except take my money that I could have used to pay off my debt. The customer service is horrible and the paralegals are highly incompetent!!! Every time I call, I have to repeat myself 4 times at least , then they place you on hold and don't advise you that they are doing so. They are just great sales people and I would not use them if they were a free service. They sent out challenge letters that I have done myself previously and nothing was removed off my credit. WOW!! Super disappointed on how Lexington Law Firm attempted to handle me as well as doing such horrible work if you could even call it that. With their feeble attempts of trying to help me for one single item on my credit report that I not only multiple times had to repeat to them via calls and chats but also had to get it escalated to management that I wanted priority on the eviction. Is this TRULY how they treat a VETERAN. After several online chat sessions and numerous phone calls with 3 paralegals and 3 "Managers" over the course of 10 months I ended up being a VICTIM of an un professional "Credit Repair" company. By having my paper worked LOST twice (also never being notified of receipt of info or not) as well as getting my info blocked and they stating only after I called today 10/19 for an update on my issue that they reserved the right to discontinue services to anyone. SERVICE?! you have to be kidding me!!! I received not one ounce of professional or courteous service from this joke of a Law firm. What I did however is inherite a HUGE HEAD ACHE and nearly $800 wasted after 10 months of nothing to show other than 1 late college loan payment and 1 late car payment removed; this was more than 6 years old LMAO... these little things DONT affect my life Lexington, the EVICTION DOES. I was member LexingtonLaw for 4 months and i didn't see any change in my credit. Basically they just have a sample letter and they just put your name and your information and ask you to mail it to your creditors. They put all work on you and they charge a lot money to just add you name to those pre wrote letter. I don't remember to anyone. You can do what they do by yourself for no cost. Save your money on paying down your creditors. These people move so slow when taking off negative remarks. I used them for 4 months and saw how slow they moved. There was nothing drastic in my report or score that they done. Beware of canceling your membership with them. It took me ten minutes to actually cancel the membership. The person kept trying to offer me cheaper prices and talk me into staying. I finally had to to just cancel that card. read more

PHISHING SCAM! I received unsolicited emails and phone calls identifying themselves as Lexington Law regarding rent to own home opportunities. Mind you, I own a small ranch in Texas months away from being paid off and have excellent credit, not to mention the fact that I NEVER requested any information from this firm which their communications indicated that I did. (Again... I DID NOT!) After hanging up on them several times and pressing "2" to be added to their Do Not Call list a couple more times, I decided to listen to the whole message, answer their questions truthfully (without giving any identifying information) that would indicate that I have excellent credit and am not in need of their services, and was ultimately transferred to an agent. I politely stated that I own my own home and have excellent credit so "please stop calling me." Her response was "I didn't call you. You called me." I reiterated that someone called me on her firm's behalf and I would like it to stop. "I didn't call you. You called me,' upon which I hung up. So I looked the "law firm" up on the internet and got hold of a "paralegal" named Lisa Keogh. I told her that her firm was harassing me, they are in violation of federal law for contacting me as I am on the Do Not Call registry, and that if they did not cease and desist I was going to file a complaint with the Texas Attorney-General's office. She put me on hold a couple times trying to figure out who to let know to remove me from their database. When she finally returned, she said she had sent my request and I should not be receiving any more communications from them. She gave me her name and her supervisor's name (Elizabeth Luna), and apologized for the inconvenience. I reassured her that if I received one more phone call I was going to contact Ken Paxton's office and ended the phone call. I don't know if the action I took will actually stop the harassment. But I am sick and tired of receiving robo-scam-phishing calls. I'm drawing a line in the sand right here and now. UPDATE: The phone rang this morning and guess who it was? Yep. Lexington Law. So I sent an email to my good buddy Ken Paxton and filed a complaint. Maybe now they will get the message that Americans are sick and tired of robocalls and phone scams. read more

I have had none of the issues seen on previous reviews! They have been able to remove most of my negative accounts with only 4 remaining. I have had many online "chats" and they have responded to any email or calls I have made. Yes, it has taken more time than I expected so that's why only 4 stars. They wanted to charge me $230 something for services rendered but they didn't do anything for me. They sent 2 letters in June which I paid for. Then I switched my bank account on July 10, my payment comes out on the 11th and they tried to charge me a late fee for their mess up. Which I did get fixed but they ended up taking it 2 weeks later. They are money hungry, greedy, and the supposed work rendered was from 2 months ago. Haven't sent anything on my behalf since June. Good thing you get updates about what they do on their app/website. They ask you what your credit score is and if you know it and tell them exactly what you have they still insist in running your credit. You think no big deal, you give them your info. Then.... They ask you to pay them $$$ for them to see YOUR credit report...WTF... why do you need to pay them to see your credit report that you can get for free... Scam. They dispute accounts with no issues before the work on the accounts with problems so they can keep you subscribed. Also they lie. Had an emergency called, they said they would suspend my account, no fee and no work for the month. Not so, they charged for the suspended month. Terrible experience. The biggest scam ever,plus they are thieves. I cancelled the service with them and they kept charging my card after the cancellation. They charged an extra $500 for no reason. After writing a review, a lady from the office her name is Kimberly called me and asked me to send copies of the statements to show the charges and she will proceed with the refund, I did so but guess what I never heard from her again. Now, I have to spend more money with an attorney to get my money back. However, do not trust this people , and I will do whatever I can from the BBB to the DBPR to the state attorney to the court to get my voice heard. read more
