Can I give negative stars? Renter beware!! Within the last 2 months they have had a gunshot incident where a current resident had a gross negligence "accidental" firing of a gun. A police report was filed by another resident and the management is more concerned about money than they are safety! Below is an email sent to their management in response to their email to inform a resident that they will have to pay a penalty because they moved out before the end of their lease because they feared for their personal safety. Also you must not be aware of a 2025 Oklahoma Bartlesville title 21 statute that states "an accidental discharge of a firearm is considered a serious negligence and a major security risk and is not simply an accident ". There is also a right to safety clause that "if the landlord cannot guarantee the safety of other residents they can argue that their lease has been breached by the landlord for failure to provide a safe premises". It goes on to state that this can "warrant early termination of their own lease without penalty ". It also goes on about eviction of the tenant that had the firearm discharge and other things as well. We are not seeking eviction of the tenant nor any legal matters but we are seeking the part of " early termination without penalty". All we ask is that you release the renter from her lease without penalty. This statute seems to address this matter pretty clearly. Their response nope we are not waiving any penalties. So like I started this review RENTERS BEWARE!! NOT A GOOD place to live and not good management! In response to the Lexington commons response- we called the police Lexington commons DID NOT make any contact with the police department! None! So as along as you get injuries or killed after hours it isn't really a problem? Well you know not Lexington commons problem any way. Also "we take the safety of our tenants seriously?" Really is that why you laughed when my daughter called management? That is why SHE reported it to the police. Because Lexington commons did not take it seriously at ALL and did NOT file any report with the police. Cute apartments but I've had a leaking ceiling for several months now, which I've called about several times. They keep taking pictures but it hasn't been fixed. Now it has rained on my wooden vintage tiki statue, a piece of furniture, and actually rained on my TV and ruined it. They take no responsibility for my TV after neglecting to fix the leak and have condescending, bad attitudes. Would give it a higher rating otherwise because the apartments are cute. read more

Worst place to rent from in my lifetime. They paint over mold in bathroom, paint the bathtub, broken old and outdated appliances, kept having wasps come inside my apartment, electric bill through the roof since doors and windows don't seal, on contract it's a 30-60 day notice when moving out. Gave 30 days and they charged me an extra 680.00 for rent for failing to give notice. They want me to pay 1150.00 on move out for stuff that was broke when I moved in stuff that was cleaner when I moved out. I shampooed the carpets and scrubbed the floors on move out and they tell me the place was filthy. I left it better than I got it and they charged me for it. I've lived in a two bedroom townhome here for over three years. Much has changed in that time and the improvements made to the facilities have been significant. When I moved in, some of the criticisms in older reviews were warranted. But, due to limited availability, the only units nicer were on the order of $1,400+/month. The complex has been around for somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 years. I elected to move into a unit that had been upgraded (faucets, appliances and light fixtures). Shortly after I moved in, the facility installed new siding, new balconies, upgraded exterior lighting, resurfaced the parking lots and driveways and they also installed new fencing. Yearly I was asked if I wanted my carpet shampooed. I opted out except for this year and asked for a programmable thermostat instead (request granted). Additionally, about this time last year a new heating and cooling unit was also installed. The unit came with a new hot water heater when I moved in. The apartments are not new. But they are large and significant investments have improved them a great deal. They are not the nicest, but they are arguably the best bang for the buck in the local area. If you want wood floors, stone countertops and stainless appliances, this isn't it, but then you'll pay much, much more. For the area, this place fits the perfect point on the curve balancing value, sqft and a nice place to live. I've no problem inviting friends over. The units remind me of an older home that's been remodeled and updated. The staff is exceptional. They have consistently addressed all issues quickly and without any qualms. Maintenance has repaired all issues quickly and without delay. Any main office issues have been worked through in the same quick, friendly pace. They're extraordinarily easy to work with and competent. They are a team. No problem recommending this complex. Go for the upgraded unit. read more

I do not recommend living here. Unfortunately, if you are wanting an apartment/renting lifestyle, you do not have many other options within Bartlesville. This complex has a relative monopoly on the local renters market and do not seem to have empty units for very long. This appears to have reduced incentive to quickly address maintenance issues or update the units. The leasing office is not reflective of the actual units available to rent. (Please note: There are some units offered that have been "updated," but the updates seem to be limited to faucets and different linoleum tile - Not worth the higher price) Appliances - The appliances are very old and frequently stop working. The maintenance men will attempt to repair the appliances, but never replace. ex) Microwave no longer powered on, circuit boards replaced 3 times within a year and problem recurs. AC/Heat - Very poor insulation results in the older air conditioner units and heaters not being able to sufficiently cool or heat units. Air return vents were not built properly and does not allow for use of an air filter. Insects/Spiders/Bugs - Doors and windows to units have warped over time and no longer seal properly. Each unit has several doors (front, back to garage, front patio, back patio, room balcony, etc.) and each allows various insects into the unit. When brought to the attention of property management, the response is that there is nothing that can be done about the patio doors not closing properly. For front door, new weather stripping will be given, but it is not large enough to fill gaps. It is then suggested that you provide your own bug spray and/or glue traps for insects. There are A LOT of bugs. Most concerning is the large population of Brown Recluse spiders. Mice - Have seen and caught mice inside and outside of unit (on previously mentioned glue traps intended for insects). Pest control was sent out to inspect, but found no additional concerns other than gaps in doors that property management is unable to address. Water Leaks - During hard rains or thunderstorms, water will come in through gaps in windows/doors. After reporting a pipe leak multiple times over several months, maintenance man stated that "water will fix itself." Noise - Walls are not very thick or insulated, so noise from neighbors can clearly be heard. Mail/packages - UPS/Fedex packages are delivered to your door. U.S. Postal Service will either stuff in your mailbox or place in a larger temporary mailbox for which you will be given a one-time use key. Payment Options - Online payments are easy to manage. Electronic check (debit) option. In summary, these apartments are simply old and in poor repair. Avoid leasing here if you can. read more

Just visiting a friend here for a little bit. The apartments are fine, livable for the most part, but what is up with the entrance/exit to the complex? It seems to be almost, the best way I can describe it, "vertical" to the complex! Do they think everyone owns a Jeep or a Toyota Hilux? It's the only way to get in and out as well, so it's not like you can avoid it. They can't grade this better? read more

Lexington Commons is a very place to live in. The community is nice and the support staff are excellent.

I would never suggest any one to stay in this community. Management is the rudest I have ever encountered. They never give proper response to tenant issues. For any repairs in your apartment,to them, everything comes under normal wear and tear and they just leave the issue. I never recommend to stay in this community.They always look for ways to get more money extracted from u when u leave.Manager Kyala will never respond properly.The maintenance was very poor. read more
