If you are old or young, married or single, widowed or divorced a man or a woman , it makes no difference, you probably are leery when it comes to hiring a contractor. I know I am, but you don't need to be if you hire the company I'm going to tell you about.
I'm a 65 year old retired contractor who resides in Polk County, Florida and have over 40 years of construction work experience. I have many strong suits relating to the various disciplines of the industry, although, electrical work is not one of them, which is why, when I needed some electrical work done at my residence, I did my homework before I decided to hire a licensed electrical contractor to perform the work I desired to be done. In a time where many companies promise professionalism, rarely do they keep that promise once the contract is signed, which is why I have decided to write this review of my experience with the company I ultimately chose to do my work.
While I was shopping at a local big box home improvement outlet in Lakeland, I noticed a well dressed man in the store wearing a short sleeved black shirt with a company logo on it where a front pocket would normally be placed. I saw that it was an electrical company logo, so I struck up a conversation with him. He was very polite, informative and respectful of my questions, answering as many as he could without visiting the job site. I thanked him for taking time to speak with me even though he was obviously purchasing supplies for a current job.
A few days later after having lunch with a contractor friend of mine we drove by a new home construction site and I saw work trucks at the site with the name Lewman Electric on them, so we decided to stop and look at their work first hand.
I was approached by two individuals named Kyle and Larry, and asked if they could help me. I introduced myself and we had a conversation about the work I was seeking to have done and if it was something the company was interested in and able to take on. They were very knowledgeable and professional. As a result of our conversation, I phoned the company and they promptly set up an appointment for one of their representatives , whose name is Jay Brick, to come to my residence to evaluate and make a written estimate for the work to be done.
I received the estimate from Jay via email shortly after he left my residence. The estimate was easy to understand and fairly priced so I called the company, emailed my approval of the estimate and they did the rest. They scheduled a start time, and told me I was only to pay when the work was done to my satisfaction. They also offered a variety of payment options.
The workers , Lead Service Technician ,Kyle Meechan ,and his two apprentices , Stephen and Deryn ,showed up on time, and put in a more than full day.
The following day, Kyle, Stephen and Deryn showed up at the worksite along with additional help from Service Technician Larry and his assistant Billy, to expedite the work to it's completion.
With all five workers on the job site, they were done in a couple if hours. I was pleased they completed the work I contracted for to my satisfaction and without any unexpected expense, cleaned up the job site , and put in the extra effort to take the time to do the job correctly and professionally.
I paid them, they thanked me for my business and departed. Before they departed they said we hope you will call us whenever you have any additional electrical needs, I said I would and I sincerely meant what I said.
So if you want the professionalism that many companies are long on promising but short on delivering then, I encourage you to call Lewman Electric for your electrical needs!
They are the gem among jewels, They are shockingly great!
Give them a call today, you'll be glad you did, I certainly am glad that I did and will definitely use them again.
