I find that smaller businesses like Hornungs consistently offer better customer service.

Walmart, Lowe's or HD generally less expensive. Turnaround time for equipment service (snowblower) tune up was less than a week and $100. Not bad and not too much time considering the season is upon us. While waiting to drop off my equipment, there were several customers waiting for a register to open. Unfortunately the store was a little understaffed and they were getting annoyed to have to wait for me before they could check out. Some additional training for the younger employees would probably help so that they could be more attentive when there are people waiting. I know it's easier to hide at the back of the store than to wait on customers, but that's your job folks. When I picked up the snowblower, I was in and out in about five minutes. Not too bad.

I got a hardback coffee table book on Obama for only $9.99 when it was originally $60. That was enough of a win in my book! However I was able to get some great children's books and cooking books for low prices as well. There were some great outdoor children's toys and various appliances as well.
