I called the Inn to let them know and they were more than understanding, saying that their restaurant would still be open by the time of our arrival and that they would have a glass of wine waiting for us upon our arrival. We did not arrive until 10:00 PM and received a warm greeting and as promised, the bartender was ready to pour us a glass of wine. We were able to sip it on the lovely outdoor eating area and fall asleep on the most comfortable bedding. Seriously, the beds here are magic. Rooms are very small and do not have A/C. Simply opening the window will suffice to bring in some cool air. Each wing has a communal bathroom. Bathrooms have all amenities needed moreover; each room has a cute bag of travel toiletries per bed. The building itself is both charming and formidable. While I see its potential, it is lacking in some upkeep and restoration. This the only downside. Something to note, there is a train that passes quite frequently and can be heard during all hours. This did not phase me in the slightest because of the wine. My favorite part by far was breathing in the fresh air and exploring the grounds in the early morning. The sky was beautiful and I managed to get in some pretty special photographs. It seriously put a smile on my face to see pigs roaming around and chickens out being chickens... With that being said, I would definitely stay here again should I find myself in the area.

In the past month, two very good movies: He Calls Me Daughter which was never even shown. And The Great Awakening which will only be shown for 5 days and for only afternoon movie times, No evenings times were offered This theater seems to have a lot of horror and small child themed flicks over all. It would be nice to see more family friendly films that cater to the "whole" family being offered , Instead of constant Horror and small children themed flicks being the main movie choices running for multiple weeks.

The location is conveniently within Great Northern Town Center, so parking was a breeze and makes it easy to grab a bite before or after the movie. You buy movie tickets at the concession stand here, which I think could cause a line to form on busy days. It would be nice if there was a kiosk to buy tickets from. The movie-watching experience itself is good as they have stadium seating in the auditorium, which is more comfortable than regular movie theater seats. I think this is probably the best place to view a movie in Helena, based on the facilities and number of movies playing.

He has to have 8 hours of sleep or his brain will not work properly the next day. We got back to our room late because of a wedding the previous evening so l hung the do not disturb sign on the door. A little before 10 there was a knock on the door telling us we needed to move our car because they were redoing asphalt in there parking lot. There had been no mention of this at check in. I went down to the front desk to complain. Check out wasn't until 11, we shouldn't have been disturbed. The front desk manager Alisha said I was argumentative and told me to go pack up our stuff and to leave immediately. I was shocked. There weren't any sincere apologies or understanding. I told her I was calling her boss, she told the guy who knocked on our door to just leave my vehicle and let asphalt get on it. We hurriedly packed to leave and as we were checking out the maid told us "don't come back." At this point my "traumatic brain" husbands brain shut down. The "asphalt" guy threatened to trespass him as he called him childish. This is definitely not a place to stay for a person with disabilities. They could have kindly and sincerely apologized and we would have left quietly. After my husband was hit by a car, he was in the hospital for a very long time in Idaho Falls. I had stayed (lived) at the Holiday In Express in Idaho Falls. Every employee there was exceptional. Helena could take some lessons from them. These employees were the most unprofessional, most aggressive, immature adults I have ever encountered at any hotel.
