During a time where inflation has finally slowed down, Lewis and Bark instituted a 4% credit card fee and also raised toenail clipping $5.00! I honestly don't understand how this establishment has a 5 star rating. Both times I've taken my dog there, it's been a terrible experience. The first cut was ridiculous. Half the fur on her head was one length while the other side was about an inch longer. I thought maybe we were unlucky and just got a novice groomer and decided to give them another go. I just picked her up from the 2nd visit and she looks...awful. They cut her face into a freaking square! She could double as Spongebob Squarepants, but she's now Spongebob SquareFace! No gradation, no styling according to her facial features and shape. Just blunt shaving that needs repair. And they charged $70 for this, WITHOUT A BATH/BLOWOUT. She was bathed before taking her in. I'm sorry, but I feel scammed. I know I'm not in the popular opinion here, but there needs to be a balance of experiences to reflect the total picture. Perhaps I am just used to higher standards than what they provide. If you have high standards, look elsewhere. read more

Absolutely love Lewis and Bark!! They are so caring and have excellent groomers. My dog loves going to see Wolfe there and she has helped make him feel so comfortable! I would have a difficult time going anywhere else! read more

The staff was extremely friendly. We brought in our golden retriever and he had a lot going on that needed fixed. They had him back to us in only a couple hours looking sharp and smelling way better lol. Lewis and Bark was an A++ experience. I called last minute for a walk-in while we were passing through Cannon Beach over a roadtrip, Tessa was the nicest human possible to deal with and she was able to accommodate and I couldn't be more happy about the whole experience. I had the best experience at this groomer. They were great from the start, kind and very friendly. I highly recommend them. We are traveling the Oregon coast with our Puggle and needed to find a groomer. We called 4 or 5 places within a 50 mile radius who either had no availability or didn't call us back. Bay Breeze in Warrenton referred us to Lewis and Bark in Seaside. We left a message and were called back by Janet who was super helpful and very pleasant. She patiently walked us through the necessary paperwork (they will need proof of your dog's vaccinations) and gave us an appointment for the weekend. Our Puggle was in and out this morning and looks fabulous! I don't know why this business wasn't already listed (maybe they're new) but if you're in the area, this should be your groomer. The shop is super sweet and as important, immaculate. In addition to grooming there are lots of pet supplies and goodies. Prices are reasonable and staff are kind and go above and beyond, even for us strangers! They probably treat everyone like royalty which these days is a lost art! We have taken our two Airedales there a couple of times. Our Airedale's are very independent and stubborn and don't like to be groomed. Jordan is amazing. She calms them down and grooms them and when they come home they are beautiful. I highly recommend Lewis and Bark and especially Jordan. She is a miracle worker. We have tried just about everyone else in town and no one compares to Jordan. Do yourself (and your dog) a favor and try Lewis and Bark. You won't be disappointed read more
