It's quite a large shop, and so has the floor space to stock equipment for a wide range of different sports, and not only that but to stock a wide range of equipment for each sport - there is an entire wall devoted to cricket bats for example. They even have a bike shop at the back. Alongside equipment such as racquets, balls, bats, and so on, they also stock sportswear and trainers, and a few kids items like toboggans and mini-scooters. The staff were very friendly, and it seem like if they didn't have anything in stock they would be happy to order it in for you. I'm not a sporty person, but this shop is a great resource for local sports enthusiasts of different stripes.

They still offer a lot of 2nd hand bikes and bargains as well as a huge range of brand new ones. The staff are really helpful and always happy to have a chat about any good trails nearby. Then, I found G-Whizz with whom I had a short but positive discussion. They don't do appointments so you have to take your bike down, to their place just off Hove seafront, discuss the problems, leave the bike and wait to be contacted to pick it up again. When I collected my bike, they fitted a new free-wheel mechanism and a new chain at a very reasonable price. I rode my bike home to Woodingdean, in light rain and the bike is as good as the time when I bought it new and first road it. Outstanding work G-Whizz, I highly recommend you to everyone and you will be my 'go to' bike repairers.

To be honest though, this shop isn't about looks, it's quite simply a good, hard working, honest shop which deals in Bikes and getting those babies on the road.
