I have to say that out of the last 10 visits, we've had to wait much longer than my youngster can handle before some form of melt-down...but they seem to be getting better at reducing the wait. That would be my one and only complaint about the place (it might also deal with my child's doctor has patients much sicker than mine..so she may not be the highest priority...so that means she has to wait longer). Besides that I have been impressed with the friendliness of the staff at this location--going out of the way to try to make my little one okay with medical procedures and measuring (she hates getting her height measured!) that she is too young to understand. When my child has gone through a symptom flare-up or difficult situation, my child's doctor has called after hours to answer questions, and he has even called first thing in the morning to see how she did overnight. We had to undergo some trial and error in the beginning to get her treatment routine just right, but the doctor worked with me to make sure she had exactly what she needed, and took the time to ask a few extra questions and answer all of mine (without feeling like I was being rushed out of the exam room) so that I could be in the best position to care for my little one. They have also squeezed my child in for appointments when needed. I have been really impressed with the overall quality of service and care my child has received here. My recent surgery to repair an inguinal hernia was performed by Dr. Russel Martin, and I can tell you with absolute confidence that it was the easiest surgical experience of my life. Dr. Martin is a very good-natured man who exudes and inspires confidence that clearly comes, not from arrogance, but from experience, genuine skill, and dedication to his profession. All of my questions were answered ... all of my concerns were addressed. Dr. Martin was both patient and articulate. His team in the office and at the hospital (St. Agnes) were top-flight and made me feel very well cared for the entire time. My anesthesiologists were flawless. On a scale of 1-10 my post-op pain level never got past a 4 and my recovery has been rapid (two weeks later I am in the pool swimming laps and feeling fine) I feel none of the common post-op discomfort sometimes caused by the injection of CO2. I am 78 and Dr. Martin, made sure that I was ok for the procedure by sending me to Dr. Khoi Le (also an excellent doctor) for a cardiac clearance. As I said, surgery is stressful, but I can honestly say that Dr. Martin is the best I could hope for, and I remain very satisfied and grateful for his help in improving the quality of my life. She has come across harsh, uncaring, and cruel unnecessarily. Instead of being kind and empathetic to those suffering in chronic pain, she was brash unforgiving And unwilling to adapt. She is literally the obstacle to my life being better and less painful, but ego and selfishness shined above it all. I am so sad and disappointed by how cool Health Care professional has been. So I don't know how some people have had good experiences with her unless she was having a bad day and did not know how to apologize. Or maybe she's Picky about who she's kind to? I don't know. I just know is that I'm sad and in pain because of her.
