I ADORE everyone in this office! Dr Levy is wonderful and very thorough . He has been a wonderful doctor and has always addressed my concerns. He explains everything and always answers my questions. He is very honest . The girls are wonderful in the front office & extremely helpful. I also love the fact that they really do call people back when they say they will. For anyone to say that these girls are impolite, is a lie! I also get an opportunity to practice my French! I highly recommend Dr Levy. read more

this doctor was supposed to be a friend and " part of the family" he is not. my boyfriend kept telling him "it could be cancer" he consistently dismissed it! come to find out he had stage 4 blood cancer and had to go to a different doctor to figure that out. shame on you maurice read more

Excellent M.D. very thorough with a great office staff and nurse . They are very friendly and professional.

A friend of mine has been going to Dr Levy for many years. When I expressed concern over some issues with my doctor she said I should give him a try. I had my first appointment in June and was greeted warmly by reception and my wait to see the Dr. was only about 15 minutes. As a new patient, I had a lot of paperwork to complete making the wait go quickly. Yes, Dr. Levy does lean in while talking. He does touch you while talking. He is like the doctors I had when I was a child back in the 60s. If you are a younger person, this type of warmth and friendliness is probably quite startling but there is nothing untoward about his behavior. He is genuinely interested and a very nice man. He listened to all of my concerns. He asked me to send him my most recent blood work results rather than starting from scratch. He was familiar with all of the supplements that I take and discussed the merits of one brand over another. He's in his 80s and is better informed than my much younger former doctor. He didn't criticize my former doctor, merely said we can do better. I firmly believe I'll do better with his help. read more

Dr Levy and his staff are wonderful, hard working people and extremely caring towards their patients. From the front desk to the check out, impeccable care! I regret I didn't go to this practice sooner! read more

Dr Levy is a nice guy, a a close talker and is very touchy feely- but over all he tries his best. His office staff on the other hand, should be investigated immediately. read more

Very good Doctor. Clearly and thoroughly explains test results . The office staff is superb , friendly ,and professional !

WOMEN BEWARE - DISGUSTING DOCTOR Went in to establish care, was sitting in the room waiting for Dr.Levy, he walks in and greets me by rubbing my hands that were in my lap. He does not take a step back the entire appointment and was standing so close to the point where I can feel his body heat the entire time. As we're talking, he's rubbing and squeezing my thighs, holding and rubbing my hands, rubbing my knees, leaning on my legs to write on his notepad. My body language was clearly showing I was uncomfortable, so he proceeded to say that he has beautiful daughters, then HE KISSED MY HAND and said he'll take care of me. It was as if he knew what he was doing was wrong and tried to play it off like he's a harmless family man, he definitely just does not have the morality to stop himself. Dr. Levy, having beautiful daughters does NOT make it okay to put your hands on anyone, don't know who you're trying to fool here. Predators can have beautiful daughters, btw. I stopped the appointment before the physical exam started because I was too uncomfortable. I'm disgusted and feel beyond violated. I've never felt so unsafe. Dr. Levy, you should be ashamed of yourself. There's another similar review on here, I'm sure there are many other young women with similar stories that have not posted, I wish I read that review before making the appointment. read more

The doctor is a GREAT man... his staff is beyond ignorant, and the rudest people I've ever had the displeasure of speaking with. I can't believe the audacity they have, and how they interact with a patient. This is a medical practice, and when you call, they give you the runaround, provoke you with insults, point fingers, and have no regard for the patients time or predicament. I literally sit here in shock at the service I just received. Sad such a good doctor has such terrible help. read more

I been a patient of Doctor Levy for a long time . Dr levy is not good is an exceptional Physician : Professional, kind with EXELLENT bed side matter , a good listener. He will explain every details on your own language so you can understand without feeling scared or confuse. Dr Levy is passionate about his work and it shows . Going to the doctor is not pleasant sometimes ,but with him, just seeing him, talking to him ,I already feel better... My all family are patient with him and we all agree. Thank you Doctor for your exceptional work etic , your patience with all of us You love what you do and it shows. The doctor deserves 10 stars, his staff however deserves negative 10. Isabel and her co-worker are plain rude. I have tried numerous times, given them the benefit of the doubt, but no. They are rude and spiteful. I have relayed the information and instances to the doctor who says, "they are French women! Thats who they are!" And tells me not to take it personal. It is personal, they do not like me. What doctor's office manager is that rude that they find it acceptable to impact patient care due to personality differences? It is so sad because he is such a great doctor. Dr. Levy, I hope you read this and start interviewing applicants. There are MANY people who need jobs right now, that are bilingual and won't make more problems for you to handle for less pay probably! read more

I always find it so amazing how these reviews are so extreme. So to the negative reviews I say "get a life!" Dr Levy is just old school and both my wife and I go to him. He is WONDERFUL! Yes, he holds your hand, and rest his hand on your shoulder and it is wonderful that he is such a caring person. He is never in a hurry and takes his time explaining things. What I love most is when he draws pictures explaining things. I so wish all Drs were like him. My old Dr before he retired was a Dr to the celebrities here in Hollywood and he was very good but just took notes, never looked up, made no connection with me on a personal level about my health. Dr Levy does. The office staff is French and sweet as can be. If you got sideways with Isabel, then you must be really uptight. She is prompt, sweet, and thorough. Dr levy is like your grandfather the way he cares for people. My wife never had a primary until recently and was nervous about going to a male Dr...she couldn't be happier. He is loving and explains EVERYHING! I feel sad that his way of caring is a lost art. we LOVE him!! read more

I have been hesitant to write this review. Dr, Levy did help me medically and is very knowledgable. However, I want to warn all women that he is very inappropriate. I kept going to him because I tried making excuses that he is French and maybe its cultural. But, after speaking to friends and family and other doctors, his behavior is wrong. He used to hold onto me, put his hand on my upper thigh while he is talking to me. Force me to kiss him on the cheek before I could leave the room. Talk incredibly close to my face where my gut would tell me something is very wrong. He would constantly tell me how attractive I am and how if he weren't married he would marry me. I was in my early 20s at the time and he is most likely in his 70s. I was very sick at the time and needed help but I would leave his office feeling like I was sexually harassed. I felt very uncomfortable and I want to warn other women that he does this. Please women protect yourselves. read more

Wow. Dr. Maruice Levy is the nicest Dr. Ive ever met. Seems to really know his stuff. On the other hand, his assistant "Isabelle" is the most rude, unhelpful receptionist I have ever met. Such bad phone etiquette and tries to give me a tone when I call to check in (after not responding to my email I replied to 3 minutes after she sent it, and then doesnt respond the next day after I ask a simple question "What time should I come in?" read more

I was a different person when I met Levy. I was going through a lot. He helped me get back on track and for about 5 years now he has helped me maintain weight, boost my immunities, help me sleep, and was the 1st person to help my migraines I was getting since I was a child. And after a herniated disc (I'm a hair dresser) he helped me more than any other kind of Dr. I have sent many of my clients to him and everyone gives me good feed back. I am moving and I will fly in just to see him. read more

Doctor Levy is amazing and cares SO much about his patients. He is great with kids too. I met him over 15 years ago. I was very sick (crazy sore throat and high fever) and no American doctor had time to see me. I called Dr Levy's office and the front desk lady heard how in pain I was and told me to hold on. Five minutes later, she said "come at 1pm." Doctor Levy who did not know me skipped his lunch break to see me because the front desk lady had to told him I was in great pain. That says it all about this doctor and his team. read more

Dr. LEVY has been my family physician for over 20 years and he has been fabulous. That said, he works very few hours now and I have found it impossible to get an appointment with him and haven't even seen him in the last year and a half. His partner, Dr. Marciano is good enough, but he does not know my medical history like Dr. LEVY. The reason for this 2 star review is the office staff, they are absolutely horrible people! They argue with patients, talk down to their non-French patients and lie to their patients, the pharmacy and other physicians when asked to do anything at all. They are lazy, disrespectful and downright rude... I speak from years of experience with them. I'm so disappointed that the two doctors let this go on, they've had enough complaints to know better. read more

I agree with many of the reviews here. Dr. Levy is fabulous. His office staff is terrible! I was yelled at, hung up on and spoken down to horribly. I have not been a patient there for nearly three years and just received a bill that was "past due." I had not received ANY previous bills. It is too bad that his office is so disrespectful, I liked him. read more

Dr Levy is wonderful and very professional. He is probably the only doctor I trust with my family's health. On the other hand his staff specially Isabelle, is a nightmare. That woman is unprofessional and rude. It is sad because she is the first person to who you have to talk to and if you do not know the doctor probably a lot of people have been running away from the office because of her. read more

Dr.Levy is truly a gem, both medically/intellectually, and as a human being! He's is so very good, I'm sure I'll forget to mention all I admire and appreciate about him and his staff. Dr. Levy is everything you want in a physician. He instantly puts you at ease, assuring you that he's there to help. (Yes, in today's medical climate, he cares!?!!!) He listens. He asks questions. He takes time with every single patient and does spend up to an hour w/each. Dr. Levy is charming and remembers every conversation you've had. He's beyond qualified. He has earned an excellent reputation amongst his peers and undying loyalty in his patients. He stays up-to-date and current on all areas of medicine in Europe and US. He teaches and explains everything about your problem to you and actually consults the patient in deciding the treatment! He's gone to bat for me when I needed help finding a new pharmacy...to the point of calling them for me. (I know, I almost don't believe he's real, either. In this age of the average time spent w/your primary care physician being under a minute....Dr.Levy is a treasure and blessing!) I should also note as a Doctor, I have such faith in him, I'd follow his advice even if he weren't just the sweetest person, ever. :) He is not only brilliant, but deep. He approaches things from all angles. He's also endearingly empathetic. His staff is friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and helpful! The entire environment of the office is one of compassion, care, respect (both sides) and medical talent. I have literally given thanks for finding Dr.Levy's Guidance/Practice! He and his staff deserve a million star rating! read more

Shocked by all the glowing reviews here and wondering if I'm really the only woman this has happened to.... I saw Dr. Levy for the first and last time about 3 years ago. I was 23 at the time. I had my blood drawn and was very dizzy/disoriented when we had our first meeting. He looked at my chart and saw some personal details about family trauma, past abuse/abortions, etc. He seemed sympathetic at first, saying I seemed "fragile," and then as he was talking to me he began rubbing my legs. I remember holding a lollipop they'd given me after taking my blood, and I was so disoriented and confused that I just remember he got so close to me that I was worried I was going to get my lollipop on his coat. I kept making excuses for him in my head... he's old, he's french, he's trying to be kind and doesn't realize it's inappropriate. I was so taken aback, I can't even remember what he talked about. Eventually it was time for me to go and I tried to leave, but he grabbed me by my shoulders and said something like, "I always like to get a little affection from my patients..." and made me kiss him on the cheek before I left. I was so confused, I just did it and got out of there. I could smell his cologne on me the whole drive home. I felt disgusting and violated, wondering what would have happened if it had been a longer appointment, or a procedure that required me to be put under. I have never felt so unsafe around a medical professional, and I was so shocked and confused because of how he appeared to be such a cute old grandpa. But there's no doubt in my mind that he saw my file and thought I would be an easy target. When his office called to schedule a follow-up, I told them I would not be returning and why. Five minutes later, he called me himself. I hung up, sick to my stomach at the sound of his voice. I blocked the number and never went back. It's taken me years to get to a place where I was ready to leave a review, but I don't want this to happen to anyone else so I feel I have to post this. Judging by his other glowing reviews, he picks his victims carefully-- probably young single women with a history of abuse, like me. If you go here, be careful. read more

I have been a patient of Dr Levy's for a year. What makes him different than any other doctor I've worked with is that he listens. He listens Patiently while I describe my symptoms without jumping in with an immediate diagnosis. He makes me feel like he's there for me, like he really cares about my health, not about his own ego. His relaxed manner and thorough knowledge make me feel valued, welcomed and not rushed at all. He takes a complete view of your health care. He won't just prescribe a bunch of pills to treat your symptoms, he'll take the time to get to know you and your lifestyle so that he can design a comprehensive, preventative treatment plan. Like any other good doctor's office, the front desk area can get very busy. The front desk receptionist, Isabelle handles it all in a very efficient and orderly way. She always makes me feel welcome. The nurse, Samah is gentle. At other offices, I seemed to always have trouble with getting my blood drawn. No one draws blood like Samah and Dr Levy. Both will do it. It never hurts when they draw blood-it must be a gift that they both have. Alex is the Physical Therapist/Osteopath but he's not your typical PT. He's very gentle-no cracking of bones-he really works with your body. It's hard to find an office where the doctors and staff make you feel valued as a patient, where you're not dreading the visit. Everyone in Dr Levy's office takes the time for friendly, pleasant interaction. You can tell that they have a passion for what they do. I guess the best compliment I can give is that I trust them to take care of my mom. She's 82 years old and I take her health very seriously. She's old school and doesn't like to go to the doctor. Dr Levy is great with putting her at ease and explaining everything to her so that she understands. I trust Dr Levy and the caring people in his office with my mom's health. I guess that's probably the highest compliment I can pay them. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Levy for years, and feel like I genuinely have found a doctor who practices medicine like it was meant to be done. He has always spent what ever time I need answering questions, and genuinely cares about how you are, and what you are feeling. He is a warm, caring man and I feel like I have an actual advocate of my health on my side. He listens to you, understands that you know your body better than anyone, and does his best to alleviate any concerns you have. I also must give special mention to his office staff. I don't have the most flexible schedule with my work. Often I have to make last minute changes and need to get out of their office at a certain time. I am sure these are not the easiest things to deal with for them. Every single time I have needed to make a change, they have done it for me without any hassle. Isabelle runs the office in the exact way it should be and compliments Dr. Levy's style very well. It's organized, its flexible for me, and I always know that when I go things will be done quickly and most importantly correctly. Most offices will have some issue with billing, or appointment times and I have never had any of these issues here. Even though i may have to change appointment times 2 or three times before I actually come. One of Dr. Levy strengths, which is taking time an talking to patients, is I'm sure not the easiest thing for an office staff to work around. But Isabelle does it and also makes sure every single detail is correctly done. Samah is also excellent as she always gets my initial information quickly, and in a very friendly way. She makes sure that Dr. Levy has all of the information needed to see me before he even walks in. She has been a great addition to the staff. I would highly recommend them to anyone who loves to see medicine practiced in a very patient based way, and am glad to see that some doctors offices are still what I consider a family practice. read more

Careful on the way his assistant bill you. Doc levy is very sweet but his assistant has a great way of ripping you off.

His prescription almost killed my mother. Dr. Levy prescribed to my 81 year old mother a drug for diabetes. It lowered her blood sugar to 27 (40 you lose consciousness). i called an ambulance thinking she was having a stroke. when the paramedic saw the list of drugs she was taking they asked me if she was diabetic? it was news to me, i didn't know DR.Levy had prescribed it. She's never been diabetic. Turns out the drug almost killed her. She spent three days at Cedars Sinai (5 star hospital) where she was on glucose and the Endocrinologist who saw her told me that clearly the cause of her incident was the drug. Her blood sugar on the blood test she had done a week before with DR. Levy came back a bit above normal, something that a change in her diet would have stabilized. That was three weeks ago and she's been checking her blood sugar everyday. I took her to Dr. Nazemi (endocrinologist) yesterday who saw that her blood sugar was perfectly normal. I asked him to check her Cholesterol since DR. Levy had put her on Crestor for years without checking on it. Dr. Nazemi called me a few minutes ago. She no longer has cholesterol and should stop taking Crestor. He will check on it again in three months. That said, Dr. Levy is very nice and I'm sorry I have to write this review, but obviously i can no longer trust his judgment. read more

Dr. Levy has been my primary care physican for 18 years now. He is an amazing doctor who really takes his time with his patients and cares, in a very genuine way. He treats you, as an individual so well, it's unbelieveable. The office staff gets a bad rap but they shouldn't. They work very hard to make sure that everyone who is a patient, has their needs met. I highly suggest going to see Dr. Levy, if you haven't. Just remember when it comes to the office staff, they are very busy. They are doing their best, as always to accomadate the needs of all their patients. They are like family. They're really busy! God bless Dr. Levy and i love Isabelle, Monique, Melissa and many others. They don't just become your doctor but your family as well. Hope this helps clear some things up for anyone who is skeptical. I had a very bad Thyoid condition that was making me very ill and only Dr. Levy was able to figure it out. God bless him and them. He saved my life many times. I am forever grateful. read more
